Crystal has never been so desperate before. The baby is taken away from her body alive. He has done nothing wrong but is killed by his father. The pain in her uterus is so intense that Crystal's face becomes pale with cold sweat popping out and showering her.

Maya laughs loudly

"It's because of you that I suffered so much three years ago. I cannot get pregnant anymore. You'll be the same soon."

The more Maya says, the more excited she becomes.

Although Maya has already said it in the OR, Crystal's heart still hurts. She has just known the existence of the baby, but soon he's stripped away from her body by his father. What's worse, she'll never be a mother again.

"Okay, I see," Alex answers and turns back. She cannot see his expression, but his voice is as cold as ever, without any emotion.

"Mr. Gu, Miss Lin's condition is very severe now. She must get a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible. Otherwise..." The doctor urges.

Alex rubs his eyes and thinks for a while, "Then do it."

The three words, icy and ruthless, wipes out all of Crystal's hope. She tries to reach out her hands but fails.

Alex turns around. He is surprised to see Crustal is awake. "I'll find someone to attend you. Take care of yourself!"

If she did not hear what he had talked to the doctor earlier, Crystal would think Alex was worried about her. But now, his words are knives piercing her bleeding heart.

"So I can donate bone marrow to Maya, right?" Crystal sneered, staring direct at Alex. Her glare makes Alex guilty. He has no guts to look back. He wants to say something to comfort her, but when comforting words somehow become sarcasm. "Bone marrow donation would not kill you."
