So was the love between Carlos Adler and Harley Winslet. Falling in love with a criminal Carlos had to pay a huge price which Harley didn't agreed and their love seem fairly impossible. In some crime novels, the wrong doing hits you between the eyes from page one. With others it’s a more subtle process, and that’s ok too. This is a novel with a thrilling concept at its core. This book is about a girl Harley who survives memory loss and survives for whom she falls deeply. And she had to pay a huge price of her madness in her past. People like Carlos are really rare.
