The Twenty-third Day: 14 April 2020 (93,873 confirmed infected, 12,107 died, in total)

"Life in the UK has been utterly transformed in the three weeks since restrictions were brought in to curb the spread of coronavirus." – The British Broadcasting Corporation

I had my last haircut back in January.

After the lock-down order was announced, all hairdressers in London were closed. My hair now comes to a length that I can no longer tolerate. No barber can give me a help. We have to do it ourselves, my wife Sonne said, and took out her pair of scissors.

Sonne’s experience and confidence come from her previous practices on Bernie – our snow-white, longhair Samoyed dog. I knew there are a lot of differences between a canine animal and a homo sapiens, but I had no other choice. It is reported that the lock-down will be extended for at least three weeks more. I must trust my darling wife for the moment.

The haircut took about 40 minutes. Talking on the result, well, at least now I have a new reason for staying at home.
