“I could hear the rap music booming so loudly in my ears as I got lost in the rhythm...

Unaware of the presence looming towards me from behind. I continue to run, then I slowed the run into a jog before trotting as I continue to rap the lyrics under my breath.

I move my body fluidly, arms matching the pace and rhythm of my legs. Sweat gathers on my neck as I continue to strain the muscles in my legs...

I continued jogging trying to block out everything except the music and me, definitely not still aware of the presence behind me.

Moving forward as I ran back to the house, I didn't notice anyone until someone falls into step with me and I felt a slightly tap on my tan, bare shoulder.

Immediately I stiffen my heart thudding slowly as I zoomed by in reality, I look back with a mixture of fear and fury painting the expression on my face.

Before I could blink, the stranger or whatever that tapped me moved quickly in front of me to block my path. Immediately all my jujutsu and taekwondo training kicks in as adrenaline burst through me...

I then suddenly stood on high alert!

As I turns back, the Stranger moves around me, forcing me to turn my head on a double-take. This takes my attention away from my feet, which are now tangling and giving out from under me.

“Fuck!

“What the hell?”I screech out as I begin to lose my balance but almost immediately someone reach out to grab my waist Dragging me from descending to the ground...

I then grunt out angrily as I spin out of the strangers arms, doing a round kick as I throw my attacker and flipped him to the ground...

He falls to the ground on the gravel grunting out loudly on impact. I bounce and skid finishing my round kick with a nice flip on his calves as he rolls down...

Breathing out deeply as I calm my heart rate, thankfully those self defense classes weren't for waste!

“What the hell! Are you fucking crazy?” A deep familiar voice explodes...

“Nic?”I whisper suprised as I rush forward to his side to get a glimpse at my attackers face...

“My face suddenly reddens, I  cast my eyes to the side not saying a word as my heart raced...

“I stood still trying to decipher his expression, does he not really recognize me”I thought to myself...

“Grimacing that this might be some kind of prank of his, I continued my jog but then he starts to walk backward in front of me as I try to outrun him.

“Are you going to try to run every time I want to talk to you?”He suddenly asks me...

“I saw you yesterday, you were standing outside the window right?”He says as he continues to ramble off...

“I then stop dead angrily in my tracks finally speaking“Listen up, golden boy, and listen good.
