As I heard the ringing of my alarm clock I hurriedly rose from my bed and then stretched my hands up and shook it.

“Good morning first day of May!” I said with enormous energy and I beamed a smile. Then I fixed my bed while humming a song. I opened the curtains and the windows of my room so I could see how the sun shines bright this lovely morning. I tied my hair into a bun and went through the balcony of my room and inhaled a fresh morning air to make myself even positive and ready for the rest of the day. As I was satisfied with seeing what’s outside I went back to my room and took a towel and then went inside the bathroom to have a warm bath. I took off all my clothes and when I say all it includes my undergarments. I turned on the faucet near the bathtub to fill it with water so I can dip in for minutes or an hour. It’s just refreshing for me to soak my body into the water during this early morning. When the bathtub was filled with the right amount of water just like what I wanted I pour a gel soap in it so it will turn out bubbly and fragrant. Satisfied with the gel soap I put I hurriedly soaked myself into the tub. I closed my eyes feeling the warmness of the water that soothes into my entire body. This is what you call relaxing.

“Tulips!” I was at the moment of relaxing when I heard mom calling me.

“Mom! I’m having a bath!” I replied to her so she’ll know that I’m just here having fun soaking myself into the water.

“Your friend Lilac is downstairs” gee! I forgot that I have promised Lilac that I will accompany her to buy pieces of stuff for her birthday the next day.

“Mom can you please tell her to come here to my room?” I asked mom politely.

“Sure darling!” that was what mom’s reply to me with his sweet voice. After that I heard nothing but her footsteps going out of my room. At the same time I got off from the tub and went to the shower so I could finish my bath because Lilac might be furious by now. I turned on the shower and let the water run through my body. Then I massage my body with soap and put shampoo on my hair then rinsed it afterward.

“Tulips Redondo!” here she comes. The loudmouth Lilac Miranda. She’s furious I can sense it the way she speaks and calls my name.

“Coming Lilac!” I said while I’m wrapping myself with a towel and my hair also. I hurriedly went out of the bathroom and right there I saw her with a creased forehead and her two hands on her waist and her right brows were raising.

“Don’t tell me you forgot our plans for today Ms. Redondo?” well I did. If she didn’t show up here I might stay here at the house all day.

“Sorry, but yes I did.” I am forgetful and I wasn’t able to put it in the notes of my phone so I’ll be reminded.

“Gosh Tulip! Go get a dress because we need to go now.” that was my cue. Right away I went to my closet and picked a fitted brown turtle neck with no sleeves and high waist pants. I choose white rubber shoes for my footwear.

“You know the feeling that I woke up early this morning so excited then there you are who forgot about it.” I saw in the mirror how she rolled her eyes at me. I just smiled and continued putting light make up on my face. I put a white hair clip for the final look.

“I’m done Lil! Let’s go” still she rolled her eyes at me. Lilac is kinda bitchy but she’s nice anyway. We got out of my room and went downstairs I went to the kitchen quickly to grab some food before going because I haven’t eaten breakfast yet.

“Mom, we’re going now!” I grab a piece of sandwich and kissed my mom on the cheek and went out of the house with Lilac and we head off to the mall.
