Tulip’s POV

As soon as we reached the mall we went right away to the grocery section because Lilac wants to cook the foods for his birthday. I told her that we should order because it gives us less to do but she insisted that she will prepare all the food and she added that I will help her.

“Hey do you have a gift for me on my birthday,” she asked out of the blue while we are in the middle of walking towards the meat section.

“I don’t have. I forgot to buy.” well that was a joke. I always prepare gifts for her on special occasions and holidays.

“Seriously Tulips how dare you to forget about it.” she paused a bit from putting some meat on our cart just to show that disappointed expression to me.

“I’ll make it up to you on your next birthday.” with what I said I saw her disappointed face and she continued getting all the things she wants and I’m the one who’s pushing the cart.

“You know what I can sense that you’re just pranking me you silly lady.” yes I’m pranking her but I won’t tell.

“I’m not I’m actually telling the truth. Don’t be disappointed I know that you’ll receive lots of gifts tomorrow.” I uttered. You know just to make her feel light. Just to lighten up her mood.

“I’m really disappointed. Imagine your best friend almost forgot everything. From our plans today down to my birthday gift.” and she rolled that eyes again. Well that’s Lilac. She won’t be Lilac if she doesn’t roll her eyes most of the time.

“Forget about it. I’ll treat you an ice cream then.” I feel like to have ice cream so why not grab some with her after we’re done buying all the stuff for our cooking session tomorrow.

“Much better. Anyways let’s head to the sweets, chocolates, and candies.” It looks like she’s throwing a kid’s party.

After hours of almost roaming the entire grocery section we’re finally heading now to the ice cream shop inside this mall. We entered in Kelly’s Icey Creamy Shop. Well, that’s the name of the shop. We often went here together every time we feel like to relax. Yes we both like ice cream that much. One of the common things we share.

“Uhm Lil can you order for us? I just really need to go to the restroom.” I asked Lilac politely because I can’t take it anymore I really need to pee. After she nodded which is a sign of approval I hurriedly went out of the shop and finds my way to the restroom. To my hurry I wasn’t able to notice people passing by so I bumped into someone.

“Shit! My coffee!” I was looking on the floor all the time but through his voice, I can tell that he's a guy.

“Damn I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to.” I hurriedly pick the empty plastic cup of coffee.

“You’re sorry?” of course I am who wouldn’t be sorry.

“Yes I am. I’m really sorry.” what I have done. This is so embarrassing.

“If you’re sorry just buy me another coffee.” oh great! Why I wasn’t able to think of it right away.

“Sure, but can you just let me go to the restroom first? I’ll be quick.” I pleaded because I think it’s gonna go out now.

“I’ll go with you, so you won’t think of escaping.” I was about to yell at him because I didn’t like what he has said but I need the restroom so I run as fast as I could and he just followed.
