Tulip’s POV

It’s already 3 o’clock in the afternoon and we’re done cooking all the food that will be served for the party. We are now working on the decorations but it’s almost done too because Lilac’s mom his cousin Gavin did all of the work on this one while Lilac and were busy cooking all the foods.

“Lilac you better fix yourself and let us handle this. Your guests will arrive anytime soon.” Tita Mira said while she’s working on the balloons. While listening to Lilac and Tita Mira’s conversation I caught with my eyes how Gavin is staring at me and I felt uneasy because of his gazes.

“Uhm Tulips can you help me get dressed? And you need it too you look like a mess.” I felt I was saved from the drowning gazes of Gavin when Lilac called me to go with her in her room. I followed her right away because I felt like my knees will give up any time soon because of his intent gazes and I don’t know why I am feeling this way.

“You look like awkward Tulips. What happened?” asked Lilac as soon as we entered her purple-themed room. So girly.

“Because your cousin’s gazes were way too intent giving me an awkward feeling.” I honestly said to her. There’s no point in hiding what I am feeling right now.

“ So you’re saying that you’re affected by his presence?”

“Of course I am who wouldn’t be. Anyone who will be put in my situation will surely feel the same way.” I know she’s going to think something with what I have said. She’ll start to make up conclusions again.

“You’re affected with his presence and that means he's giving you chills and he’s something for you because your body’s reacting.” I actually knew she’ll say things like this. I shook my head slightly with what she said and then walked towards her closet to look for some dress to wore for me and her.

“You take a shower first Lil,” I said then she did what I have said right away. I continued picking dress until I have chosen a purple wrap dress for her and a beige ruffle dress for me.

Minutes later he went out of the bathroom looking really fresh.

“Hey I have chosen the purple wrap dress for you. The beige one is for me.” I said before getting inside the bathroom to take a shower.

When I got out of the bathroom Lilac is already wearing the dress and she’s in front of the mirror putting some make-up on her face.

“The dress looks good on you.” I praised her which is really true.

“Yeah, I like it. Thank you for choosing this one for me.” I smiled at her as a response.

“Good thing I made the right choice.” It really feels like I know her that much.

“ Anyway get dressed now the party’s about to start and Gavin’s waiting for you.” she jokingly said and I just smirked with what she said and I did what she told me to do so.
