Don't Be Real.

"You should go."She sits up wiping her tears and gets off the bed.

"No you come here where are you going?" Jae pulls her back to him.

"Enough, Jae I can't deal with you anymore." She tries to hold back her sobs.

"Oh why are you dating that Hyunsuk now?!" He harshly turns her to him.

"Stop it! It's not me! It's you! You're the one who runs after everyone. Stop fucking blaming me!" She yells pushing him off her.

"Yeah I'm sorry I can't feel for you like you do." He says hurting her more.

She nods, and bites her lips trying to stop herself from crying.

"Did you ever try?" She asks looking at him.

"Try what?" He asks.

"Ever tried to love me." She stares at him wanting him to tell him that yes he loves her.

She wants to hear him say that he loves her more than Jinsu or anyone else; she wants him to hold her in his arms and love her like she’s the only girl in the world.

"I love you Hana, I really do just not like that." He puts his hand on her cheek and caresses it softly.

"Okay." She nods finally wiping her tears.

"Just okay?" He asks trying to wipe her tears, but she turns her face away.

"Good luck with your life Jae, have some mercy on me and let me be. I can't be friends with you anymore; I know I'm being selfish. But it hurts, it really does to know that you won't love me back the way I love you." She turns her back on him.

"Hana don't be like this you know I need you by my side." He exhales.

He is so selfish, he knows how much his actions are hurting her yet he keeps on doing it. She keeps on staring at him wanting him to say something less painful but he doesn’t he just keeps on staring at her silently.

"I can't, I can't be your option anymore. It's too much for me to take, nothing helps. Not even the drugs can numb my feelings anymore, it can't." She walks to her closet and pulls out the box of all his belongings she had and hands him.

"Please leave." She looks away.

"Fine." He starts walking.

"Just remember one thing Jae, no one can love you like I do. No one. Not even your Jinsu. She might be way better than I am but she can't love you like I do." She says balling her fists, digging her nails into her palms.

"She can, she can love me way more than you ever did." He turns around to look at her one last time and steps out of the room shutting the door behind.

A year later

Hana walks on the side walk of the road, her heels in her hand. Straps of her dress sliding off her shoulders; her makeup smudged, she doesn’t know where to go. The darkness of the night doesn't scare her; nothing does. She hasn't seen Jae for a year now, she doesn't know what he is up to. He didn't call her after that night neither did she; they were both done with each other. Hana doesn't know where she is walking to, everything is hazy. What is her destination? Why is she walking here? At this hour of the night, she keeps walking, not knowing where to go. Suddenly her legs stop, she stares ahead of her. Is she dreaming? Is it real? Please don't be real. Don't be real.

She sees Jae and Jinsu walk hand in hand. Jae is carrying a baby in his arms. Hana blinks to clear her vision, they are real. She hears his chuckle, she hears her giggle, standing there all frozen. Jae why would you do this to me? What did I ever do to you? She thinks staring at them without blinking, she watches him kiss her head and hold her close to him as they walk away from her. Her legs give up and she collapses on the concrete. A loud scream evolves from inside her throat.

"No it's not real! No!" She screams covering her eyes.

People on the street stare at her, as if she’s some zoo animal, who's putting up a show for them.

"You're not real." She slowly gets back on her feet and run from there.

That's what she’s been doing. Running, she’s been running from herself, from everyone around her. She can't face the reality anymore; the reality hurts! It hurts so badly! It feels like someone is punching her in her stomach over and over again. It needs to stop, this feeling needs to stop.

Hana stops and pukes her guts out leaning on a lamppost. Her head spins; her vision becomes blurry. All of a sudden, she sees everything around her go black.
