“Hello ” Ivy waved as they were all staring at her and it was getting awkward.

“ Sebastien Corbana” The man beside the woman said shaking Ivy's hands.

“Eleanor Corbana” The woman said hugging her

“Lukas” The young man said waving from where he was standing.

“Hugo” I called out silently, pinching him

“Sorry, Mom, Dad meet ivy my girlfriend” Hugo said

The whole room fell silent as they were shocked as they could not believe that Hugo had a girlfriend.

“Are you really his girlfriend”Eleanor asked tears filling her eyes.

“Yes I am” Ivy said shyly and looking confused

“That’s great, please take care of my Hugo from now on” Eleanor said grabbing Ivy's hand

Ivy was still in slight shock over everything as she felt that it was just this morning she accepted Hugo's proposal and now she was meeting his parents, everything seemed surreal.

Ivy could do nothing but nod at Mrs corbana's request,she really liked his parents as they were really nice people. She turned to look at the young man standing behind Hugo's parent, his face was very familiar.

“Oh my God” Ivy gasped her hands covering her mouth “You are Lucas the international runway model who started modeling at the age of seven”

“Hello” Lucas waved smiling brightly at her “Please take care of Hugo ” He said once more.

“Mom, dad that's enough, uninvited guests please take your leave” Hugo said earning a glare from ivy who felt that it was disrespectful.

“We are leaving” Mr Corbana replied

“Honey please do not forget to bring your lovely girlfriend to the house” Eleanor reminded, picking up her bag and walking out with her husband in tow.

“Hugo bring your girlfriend out for a drink with the guys, they would all love to see her” Lucas said slapping Hugo on the shoulder before leaving.

Ivy didn't know what to say to Hugo as they were now alone in the room, her head was still reeling around he fact that she just met Hugo's parent and his best friend was a celebrity.

“How are you feeling” Hugo asked hugging her

“Am just a little bit overwhelmed, I mean I only became your girlfriend this morning and now am meeting your parent”

“Am sorry”Hugo apologized dragging her to a sofa

Ivy looked confused as she did not know what he was apologizing for.

“Am sorry that everything is going too fast” Hugo said placing her on his laps.

“So good so far am enjoying it” Ivy said as it was a first time for her as Eric's mother never liked her but his dad was good to her.

“Thank God for that, I want you to be comfortable”

“I am comfortable, overly comfortable and it is scary” Ivy said biting her lips.

“I know but don't be scared am here for you”

“You guys always say that” Ivy said bitterly tears dropping on her face as she remembered her time with Eric.

“I don't know who hurt you ivy but please let me hold you”Hugo said emotional

Ivy's crying increased when she heard those words as this was the first time she heard those words since her mother died nobody really cared for her and her father was so busy with work that he unknowingly neglected her.

Hugo seeing that she was getting emotional held her tight hugging and rocking her like a child. This was the second time she was crying in front of him and he vowed to never make her cry.

“It okay I've stopped crying”Ivy said wiping her face with the back of her hands.

“Good girl now you look pretty” Hugo said rubbing her hair like he would do a child

“Stop that am a grown ass woman” Ivy said pouting.

“I know I can feel it ” Hugo said staring at her breast

“You...” ivy stammered

“Now that crybaby is done it time for a shower. We have a date tonight”

“You are the crybaby” ivy said standing up from his laps and running to the bathroom.
