Chapter 2 The Second Chapter Her Obsession

Quickly getting off the bed, Roger was about to lift up the woman when his phone suddenly rang. When he saw the number on the screen, a rare tender smile appeared on his face: "Rosy ..."

"Roger, I'm afraid. Will you come to accompany me?"

The cries on the other side made him uneasy. He didn't hesitate to leave Ann who was still bleeding.

He quickly dressed neatly and walked out of the room without even looking back. Looking out of the window, Ann didn't hold any resentment but felt desolate and hopeless.

She smiled and struggled to get up from the bed. Just as her feet touched the ground, blood flowed down her thighs. Every step she took was like walking on the tip of a knife. It was so painful that her face was dripping with sweat.

Kid ... my kid ...

In order to torture her, he had dismissed all the servants. She was the only one in the house.

Finally, she managed to pick up the phone to call him: "Roger, my stomach hurts. Could you go back and take me to the hospital? I'm afraid something's wrong with the baby!"

"Oh, really? That's a good thing. It saves you money for abortion, doesn't it?" The man's words were so cruel.

"Roger, it is also your child!" Ann cried her heart out.

"You still have the strength to roar at me, which means that you're not dying. Call me after you die so that I can visit my kid's grave. That man should be happy that you and your kid will accompany him in the hell!" Roger added indifferently, "don't call me again. Rosy is still very weak. Don't bother her!"

The beeping noise came from the other side. That was his last words to her.

He never knew what he would lose at the time.

Standing alone in the room, Ann felt a stream with warmth coming from her lower body. She laughed out.

"Good ... Roger, I won't expect anything from you!" She murmured, "we're done."

The next day, when Ann was woken up by a ray of sunlight, she first saw the white curtain in the hospital. She seemed to see Roger smiling at her in her illusion. He had a pair of bright eyes that were more dazzling than stars.

However, she knew that they could never go back to the past.

"Ann, why didn't you tell me what Roger did to you?"

Hearing a familiar voice, Ann slowly raised her head and looked at the man standing in front of her. It was her big brother Charlie. When she saw her family, tears welled up in her eyes, but she did not say anything.

Charlie looked at his sister and sighed. She had just lost her child after all, so he didn't want to blame her too much. He received her call last night. Rushing to her villa, he was scared by the miserable scene.

"Ann, why are you so silly? You have been stubborn since you were young, and you value everyone you love. But shouldn't you let him go now?"

Let him go?

Ann couldn't help but laugh. Who said she didn't want to leave him and start over again?

But Roger was the man she had loved over decades. It was not an easy task to forget him.
