Ally Harper has just graduated from college after studying Psychology, and she is about to spend her summer writing and applying for jobs. Seems pretty simple, right? However, this doesn't last long before she rekindles her high-school friendship with her brother's girlfriend, Kendall Amor, and the two embark on a road trip from California to Las Vegas and beyond. A trip to celebrate Kendall's 21st birthday that will reveal more than they ever thought could be possible. To complicate matters further, Ally has one huge secret that she hasn't yet revealed to anyone but herself; a secret she is still coming to terms with herself.
