She's Gone

Sebastian's POV-

I grabbed two sodas at random from the cooler. I looked at the different kinds that were all around in the other coolers and questioned myself. Should I get her something else, or would she really like this one? Why hadn't I asked her what kind she wanted before I walked away from her?

I decided that it she didn't like one of the two that were in my hand then I would just go grab another one after asking her what she wanted before walking all the way over here again.

Satisfied with myself I started to walk back towards where I left Evelyn. Making my way through the crowd I saw some people that were intoxicated and dancing messily on the dance floor. Some people were trying to get others down while some were just left to do whatever they wanted on the dance floor making fools out of themselves. I know that it was all in good fun, but you wouldn't catch me up there dancing like a fool.

I had a reputation to uphold. I had to set an example for my pack, and be the face for what my pack stands for. If I acted as free as many of the wolves around me, then I wouldn't be looked to as an equal by the other Alpha's.

Being an Alpha, meant that you had to present yourself in a composed fashion always. Very rarely are you accepted for being improper, be it in front of your own pack or another. This was the main reason why I was so shocked at how my wolf was able to over throw me and have his way with Evelyn. I had never had anything like that happen before and I really had no idea how it happened. I just hoped that Evelyn wasn't someone that was going to hold that against me. It didn't seem to me that she was because of how embarrassed by the situation that she was, just like I was.

I smiled at the thought of just how beautiful she is. Her hair is so long and it just makes me think of how pure she must be, inside and out. She had this feeling of goodness all around her and I just couldn't believe that I was so lucky to have her as a mate.

I finally made it back to where I had left Evelyn, but there was no sign of her anywhere. I looked around trying to see if maybe she got caught up in a conversation with someone, but I didn't see any evidence of her. My wolf started to get angry and antsy.

I started to briskly walk around in search of anyone that might have any answers as to where Evelyn went, or even Evelyn herself. I spotted Alpha Gregory, her father and walked up to him quickly, but composed enough to just show him that it was an urgent matter.

"Alpha Sebastian, what can I help you with." He asked.

"I was wondering if you have any idea where Evelyn is?" I asked calmly despite wanting to have answers right this moment.

"Why are you looking for our daughter?" Luna Mary asked me with curiosity in her eyes.

"Well, she's my mate, and when I went to go get us a drink she went somewhere and now I can't find her." I said holding up the two sodas in my hands for effect.

"Oh! I can't believe that she would be so lucky as to have someone like you as a mate!" Her mother squealed.

I would have showed just as much happiness if I didn't have any idea where she was.

"My mate is right, we are very lucky to have you join our family, though we don't know where Evelyn has run off to, this is very unlike her." Her father said in deep thought.

That did not make me feel any better, the aura around Evelyn did not show that she was unpredictable. I really started to worry and my wolf started growling louder, I could feel him starting to slowly come forward in my mind.

"I need to find her." Was all I said.

Her father nodded to me and excused himself from the group of people that he was around.

He put his hand on my arm and lead me away from the crowd of people and towards the side of the house where no one was.

I didn't notice someone running up to us before he almost ran into us. I growled before crouching low in a ready stance ready for whoever it was to attack.

"Sebastian, it's okay it's just my son Eli." Alpha Gregory said stepping in between the two of us before I could pounce on him.

"Dad... Evelyn... Danger..." Eli said trying to catch his breath.

I felt my wolf jump over the wall and take over my body before I could do anything. Alpha Gregory must of saw my eyes go pitch black because he pushed Eli back away from me as he took a few steps with him.

"Where is mate?" My wolf growled out.

"Oh great! Evelyn found her mate?" Eli asked.

"Yes, she did and we need to get to her before he ends up attacking all of us, he's an Alpha." Alpha Gregory said.

"Well we better get going then." Eli started running towards the woods, once he broke the tree line he shifted into his wolf and both Gregory and I followed him in doing so ourselves.

We fan north for a few miles before coming to a road that had a car and three people on it. I ran ahead of the other two wolves growling louder with each step I took.

There were two males and female, but no Evelyn. A male and a female were stuck inside the car while the other male seemed to be trying to get in, the female screaming with each move he made. I ran and jumped over the car landing on the male who seemed to be set on attacking the other two, knocking him out in the process.

I turned back around started to slowly move towards the car ready to attack the two others that were there.

"No! Leave them alone! They're Evelyn's friends!" Eli yelled as he stepped in my way, already back in his human form.

I stopped growling but stayed low and ready to attack at any moment while Gregory and Eli went and helped the other two out of the car while I stayed back and watched. I couldn't help but give the male a dirty look, why was he alone with my mate? Couldn't he smell me on her after what we had done? Why would she have gone with him? Where was she now?

"Patrick, what happened? Where's Evelyn?" Gregory asked the male.

"I don't know, one second we were taking Lillian home, the next there was a car on our tale that sped around up and cut us off taking up the whole rode. Three men hopped out and came around the car, two of them grabbed Evelyn while that one," He pointed to the man I had knocked out. "Kept Lillian and I inside the car as they stabbed Evelyn with something and shoved her into the other car and took off with her."

I couldn't help but growl the whole time he was telling us what was happening.

"Did you see what they looked like?" Eli asked the male.

"I really didn't get a good look at them, it all happened so fast." He said ashamed.

I shifted back into my human form and walked slowly towards the male that they called Patrick.

"Why did you take my mate away from me." My wolf growled in his face.

"Oh crap, you're her mate?" He said with dread dripping from his voice.

"Yes I am. Why would you take her away from me?" I asked again.

"I didn't know she found her mate I was just trying to get Lillian home!" He pointed to the girl that seemed to be passed out in Eli's arms.

I let the boy off the hook for the time being and took to scenting the area trying to find out if there were any distinctive scents around that could give me a hint of what happened. I couldn't find anything other than Evelyn's scent which just made me even angrier.

My wolf took over and I shifted once again, trying to see if there was anything that I had missed in human form. Upon finding nothing I decided to run in the direction that the vehicle had gone after they grabbed Evelyn.

I was going to find her, even if it took everything I had. I was not going to let someone take my mate away from me. She was made for me. Me! No one else but me! And I was going to get her back, Goddess help if there was a single hair out of place on her head when I found her.
