"We met in the school," He said holding her hand. "Come, let me show you our home"

She followed him whenever he would go. "Which school?"

She asked.

He leads her to upstairs while talking with her. "It's in the city," They reached the upper floor.

Her eyes fell on two rooms but one of them was locked.

"Why this one locked? What's in it? "

She asks. Aryan looks at the room.

"It's a storeroom," He told her and drags her carefully to the other room.

"And now let me show you our room"

Our room!

The moment he said, her heart jumped. She stepped inside in their room with him.

It looked aesthetic.

The walls were white in colour. The bed looked spacious. She liked the aura inside. Not much furniture except one wardrobe and table. Her eyes roamed everywhere.

"Do you like it?" He asks.

She gave him a smile.

"Come" He led her towards the bed and stopped.

"Sit here slowly, careful," He said. She hesitantly sat on the bed.

"Now lay back"

He bend down to her level and touched her back helping her to lay back.

She was feeling awkward in their close proximity. She could hear his heavy breathing.

He softly pushes her back on the bed and adjusts pillows around her. Then covers her with duvet.

She looks at him in love and he smiles.

"Take rest heart," He says caressing the top of her head in love. He gives her a soothing smile and left.

Arya sighs looking at the ceiling. She was truly exhausted. In a day, she got to know lots of things. The sleep kept making her eyelids heavy until she totally surrenders to it.

Arya woke up when the chirping of the birds invaded her peaceful sleep. She got up yawning, meantime Aryan stepped in the room holding a tray.

"Morning heart" He greeted her cheerfully. His bright charming smile paced up her heartbeats. His curly hair looked wet and neatly brushed making him look fresh.

He looked quite simple in his white shirt and black trousers. Nothing fancy. His eyes held that same excitement she noticed yesterday when he took her home. She felt special when he gazed at her that way.

His joyful look was cheering up her mood.

This guy is super cute, she thought.

"How are you feeling now?" He asks her to keep the tray on the bed then pulled out some of her medicine.

"I'm feeling good," Arya said looking at the tray. Two cups of tea and a plate full of biscuits placed on it.

"Do I always get breakfast in bed?" She asked him a little amused by his effort. Aryan chuckles nodding at her.

"Yes after all you are my princess," He says. She blushes profusely.

Princess!

She felt very special.

"Now you get fresh. I will be back soon until then don't leave the house" He said placing the napkin over her lap and got up.

"Where are you going?"She asked looking at him.

"At work" He calmly tells her.

"What work you do? " She couldn't help but ask him.

He gives a gentle smile getting off from the bed.

"I work as a telephone operator, don't ask about my salary. It's not that great yet" He says scratching the back of his head.

That made her chuckle.

"No that's fine"

"Very well then, I will leave for the work. Take care I will be back till evening" He said gently patting on her cheek and left.

Arya sits there for as something hits in her mind.

If he doesn't earn much to tell me about his salary, then how could he afford a big house like this?

Arya couldn't help but wonder, then shrugged her shoulders. She got down from the bed. Her eyes fell on the bunch of keys kept on the table. Looking at it one thought of one locked room crossed in her mind. Curiosity hits on her mind to know what was behind the locked room! She picked up the keys and walked out of the room.

Aryan stepped out of his house and got in his green car. He tightened his grip on the steering thinking about something.

"I have to paint this car as soon as possible," He thought and shove his hand in his pocket to grab the key but found nothing. He checked his pockets multiple times and hits on the steering.

"Damn I forgot the keys" He murmured cursing himself getting down from the car and hurriedly went into the house.

Arya opened the lock of the room and stepped in. The dust in the air was thick enough to make her cough. The windows and curtains were closed making the room dark. She searched for the lights and turned on all the buttons. The room brightened up. Her eyes caught so many things hinting those belonged to any person, mostly to a female. The teddy laying on the floor, all the girly things were kept in a disheveled manner. Her eyes scanned the room slowly until they fell on a photo. Her eyes widened as she saw the photo of her.

She walked ahead and accidentally hit on the table. The books fell down making a noise.

Aryan was still searching the keys in the living area when he heard the sound coming from upstairs. His eyebrows scrunched together in a doubt. He became more serious. He started climbing the staircase carefully without making any noise.

Arya rubbed her knee in pain. Suddenly her eyes fell on a small golden card in between books. She picked it up to see. It looked like a visiting card.

Aryan reached at the floor and saw the locked room was opened. He slowly walked towards it and stood at the door. His eyes widened looking at Arya inside the room.

"WHAT THE HELL!" He burst out in anger.

Arya flinched and looked back. His fists were clenched, his eyes flashed with anger. There was Aryan standing and looking at her in a rage. He looked so different to her as if she was the first time seeing him. His form was more than any rage, more than any dangerous feeling.

She knew something was wrong.
