Prakriti (Mahabharata)

Prologue

Third Person P.O.V

Clad with warrior clothes, she swing her sword with the wind, her movement almost unseen by the naked eyes, Her hair cascading down her back like a water fall, her green eyes looked serene as she practiced with her sword. She is a Yaduvanshi, sister of Shree Krishna and Balram. She is a nature who incarnated on earth to destroy the evil and establish dharm.

"Prakrite, Its time for you to join us for Dinner" Shree Krishna called his sister with a smile on his face. He knows that a new chapter of her life is about to be open and she is fully prepared to handle it. Prakriti stopped her training when her brother voice entered in her ears. She already knew he was standing here for a while watching her. She always felt happy when he watch over her. He is her elder brother but she always treat him and Brother Balram like a father. She flick her wrist and her sword vanished into thin air. People of Dwarka believe that her family is divine that they have God hands on their head but they don't know that they are deity themselves. Shree Krishna is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Brother Balram is incarnation of Shaishnaag and she, herself is nature who came from her lok just to serve this world and help them.

She walked towards her brother with a grace in her walk. A smile on her face as she looked at her brother mischievous smile. They both started walking together towards the dinner hall. "Why are you smiling like this brother?" she asked raising her eye brow in question, she knew whenever her brother smile like this, something is about to happen, there is always number of reasons behind her brother smile and she want to find out what is going to happen this time. Shree Krishna looked at his sister with fake anger, his hand going on his hips, "Can't a brother smile when he sees his sister after so many years" he said making Prakrati chuckled. She knew her brother acting skills, that's how he got away with most of the mischief in past.

"Yeah right, I know you better than anyone" She said as they walked into their home. He raised his eyebrow and looked at her "So what do you think" he asked, they entered in the dining hall. "That some thing is about to happen" she said, her eyes falling on her older brother. Baldau was already there waiting for them. She quickly went towards him and joined her hand in greeting gesture "Pranam Dau" She said bowing her head. He smiled and raised his hand to give her blessings. Brother Krishna also joined his hand and greeted Dau. All of them took their place on the floor and after a little prayer, Dau announced that they can have their food. Prakriti started eating, putting delicious meal on her plate. "You know Dau, that kuru's children have completed their studies and they are coming back to Hastinapur" Krishna said casually in between as he sneak a glance towards his sister who stopped eating all of a sudden, her interest peaking into the conversation. She always has a soft spot for pandu kids. When they were children, she spent most of her time in Hastinapur with them. They were great friends but all of a sudden they had to go to gurukul for their studies and she has to come back to Dwarka for her training. She is expert in wielding any weapon, because of being nature, she can control all the elements. She knows herself she is nature that also give her the power to look into future but she never accessed that power because she thinks that future is better unknown unlike her brother who knows each and every thing that is happening and that is about to happen.

Dau nodded his head "That's good" he said resuming his eating. Prakriti looked at her brother Krishna for more elaboration. He chuckled and when he saw the look on her face, she is clearly curious to know about them. "And they are having a competition to know who will be the crown Prince of Hastinapur" at the word competition Prakriti ears perked up. She is always up for a competition, testing her limits, She knows that she is a nature but she doesn't know the extent of her power yet. "Its only fair" Dau responded with a smile unaware of the change in his sister. At last, Prakriti spoke "Brother" she started looking at her older brother who stopped eating and looked at her in question. "Can I visit Hastinapur, I want to meet Aunt Kunti, its been a while since I saw her" she said in her serene voice, she wanted to meet her old friends after so many years. "But you just came back from your training and you haven't spend the time with us, we also want our sister to be with us" he said almost shaking his head to deny her request when Krishna spoke in between "Dau, let her go, she must want to watch the competition and you know her very well, besides Aunt Kunti miss her a lot".

Dau thought about it for a moment whether he let her go or not. "Very well, you may go but come back as soon as possible otherwise I will be there to get you" he decided chuckling at last. Prakriti gave a smile to both her brother.

She was in her room getting ready for her trip to Hastinapur when her Brother Krishna entered in the room. "Prakrite, you look happy" he said as he saw the smile on her face. She turned her head towards her brother "Because I am going to meet Aunt Kunti after so many years" she said , there was a happy aura around her. The sun was shining brightly as wind was swaying the trees softly. You can know about her mood with the change in nature. "Or you are going to meet Prince Arjuna that's why you are happy" her brother said with a teasing smile on his face. She blushed a little. When they were little and she was in Hastinapur, she has a deeper connection with Arjuna, they always spend time together for hours talking about everything and nothing. She always cherish those moments. In her heart, she knew she want to meet Prince Arjuna, her first friend.

"Brother, you can not wrap me in your words" She said at last grinning. He gave her look and then smiled at her, he took her hand and put a box in her palm. She stare at the box in question "Give this box to Prince Arjuna when he needed it the most" he said in riddles. She nodded her head understanding. Something is about to happen in Hastinapur and this is the way Brother Krishna is helping them. She never question his every task because she knew he always do things for other well being.

"I will be waiting for you my dear" he said putting both of his hand on her shoulders and giving her a smile.
