Chapter Twenty Two

Ryder POV:

"Where are they!" I yelled and punched the man again and again.

Kade, Samuel, and I had found on of the Vipers in a hide out a few miles out of town.

The man spit out the blood in his mouth, trying to get out of the binds he was in.

"I'm not telling you anything." He said and glared.

"Oh, you will. See, we know who you are, where you live... And who your lovely wife is. We have men watching her as we speak." Kade said lowly.

The man's face paled.

We did know where he lived and who his wife was but we had no one watching. He apparently couldn't see through our bluff.

"You wouldn't." He said. "No? Then tell us what we want to know." Samuel told him.

Jack never said a word.

"Give the order." Samuel told Kade.

"Wait! I'll tell you! Just please leave Donna out of this!" He begged.

"Where are they?" I growled.

"They're at the safe out in Rogersville." He told us.

"Now was that so hard?" I asked and threw a punch to his temple, knocking him out cold.

"Let's ride." Kade told Samuel and I.

Lana POV:

"Who?" I asked. "You'll see, in time." Adam told me and walked out the door.

Before closing it behind him, he turned to me.

"Now, time to have a chat with my girl." He said and gave me a mocking smile.

"Stay the fuck away from her!" I yelled as he slammed the door shut.

"Fuck!" I screamed as I tried harder to get out of the rope tying my hands behind my back.

What do I do?

I kept twisting my wrists, trying to pry my hands free.

"Yes." I whispered as one of my hands began to slip through the rope.

I heard Sarah scream my name and I began to panic.

"Sarah!" I yelled back.

The room was completely empty except for the chair I was tied to. No weapon, no nothing.

Wait. I looked down and raised the leg of my pants. They didn't search me. I still had my knife tucked into my boot. Idiots.

I pulled my knife out of the holder and tried to exit the room but the door was locked.

I heard the lock of the door turn and I crouched behind it.

"What the.."

I quickly swung the knife, puncturing the febrile artery in his leg.

"Oh dear. Look at that. Seems I cut an artery. You're gonna bleed to death, huh?" I asked, smirking at the man lying on the ground.

"Bitch!" He yelled. "Oh, baby trust me. I know." I told him before slamming his head on the ground knocking him out.

I slowly looked through the door and both ways down the hallway. No one.

I found a baseball bat leaned against the wall at the front door as I crouched and looked from the top of the stair case. I wasn't sure if I could get to it without getting caught.

"Well, hello there." I heard behind me.

Shit.

I turned and saw a tall muscular man with raven black hair. I'm so screwed.

"You killed on of my men, sweetheart." He said, growling.

"You killed one of mine. We're even." I replied. "No darlin'. We're not." He replied before grabbing my arm and throwing me back into the room I was in.

The man's body was gone. Only a pool of blood left in his wake.

What now? My knife was gone so I had no way to defend myself.

Fighting off two men was much different than fighting off a whole group of God knows how many bikers.

I had to find Sarah. I knew Adam was going to kill her. I had to find her and get her the fuck out of here.

I hope the guys can find us soon because I couldn't do it alone.
