Jenny was feeling low. She got one hour off after the surgery to get well. She was not actually feeling the way she should after seeing the patient dead. She felt a bit numb from the inside.

She remembered what her favorite sir said in one of his classes, "When you will experience it for the first time you can get traumatize but with time your experience will grow so your ability to control your emotion. After 3,4 years you won't cry if you can not save your patient. With time everything will feel numb."

Jenny laid on the big couch of the interns room. She was taking deep breath. It's an exercise to calm the nerves.

She realized that she needed to get busy to forget everything. It was almost lunch time so she decided to have lunch first than she would continue her duty.

She didn't even see what she was taking on her plate. She took some rice and unknown curry that was beside it. She was having her food looking here and there to distract herself.

In the corner she saw a group of young doctors celebrating birthday of their friend. As it was hospital cafe they were trying best to not cause much sound.

But everything went south when they started throwing cakes at each other. Jenny laughed as she saw them ruining their face and coat.

"Laundry is not going to clean those." Jenny muttered with a smile.

Her phone rang and she saw her bestie called. "Hello, Mila."

"What are you doing?" Mila asked

"Eating."

"So you are eating and talking?"

"Mils, I am the doctor not you so don't even start with your lecture."

"Okay, fine. But I want to meet you. It's been days!"

"I know. I will be free at eight. Where do you want to meet?"

"The night star club, it's close to your hospital and doctors from your hospital go there except you!"

"Clubs are definitely not my type so I find them ridiculous. There are so many beautiful places, why go in a club?"

"We are going and I will bring that friend of mine."

Mila said and Jenny choked on her rice. "Wait, you are setting me up for a date! And I thought you missed me!"

"It's not a date. You don't go on a date in a club. You both will meet and if you both want you can go on a date later, totally upto you and I definitely missed you."

"Gosh and what will you do?"

"I will be busy there with my boyfriend."

"Calvin needs to teach you to mind your business."

"Hush.. You continue eating and please don't wear those long decent clothes of yours. You are going to a club, baby."

"Whatever, see you soon." Jenny cut the call and finish her food. After cleaning up, she went to her older patients.

"How are you feeling Mr. John?"

"Good. Why don't you just discharge me?"

"You need to stay here one more day. We have to do an overall checking of your health and you can leave after that."

Her phone rang again and it was Liam. She was already with a patient so she can't receive it, not that she would receive it even when she was alone.

"You had your lunch?"

"Yeah, those bland soup tasted like bitter medicine." Jenny laughed hearing him complain.

"But those are full of nutrition and it will help you to heal. You need to move carefully otherwise one careless move and you ended up here."

"Well, I didn't know that stupid stool would broke apart."

"You are lucky that you didn't broke any bone or else you would have been here for 6 months permanently."

"Tch, nonsense. I am strong."

"You were. It's okay to except that you are getting weak and old. It's a phase all of us have to go through it. I know it's not easy to except but the soon you do, the better for you."

Mr. John looked like a kid that time with a sulking face. Jenny blinked at him reassuringly.

Later she gave medicines to Mr. John and went to meet others. Her phone was vibrating the whole time. She knew it was Liam but she didn't bother to do anything.

She went to her locker to keep her coat there. It was almost time for her to be free. She was going towards the interns room when she heard shouting and crying sounds.

In the hospital that kind of sounds meant something serious. Soon many more voices joined with the previous ones and with each passing minutes, more voices joined. Whole hospital sounds like a graveyard.

A nurse was rushing somewhere but Jenny stopped her. "What's going on?"

"Doctor Jennifer, go back to your quarter. I have to inform other doctors to leave as well. Only few seniors will be here."

"What why?"

"More than twelve people died in last twenty minutes that too from all the sectors."

"WTF! How is that possible?"

"I don't know but the family members of the patients are not ready to except that those are natural deaths. So they are blaming the doctors and the hospital. You need to leave and please inform others if they stumble upon you on your way back. Hurry Dr. Jennifer."

The nurse rushed towards a cabin. Jenny wanted to see it herself and she went to downstairs. Her eyes widen seeing so many people. Other patients families too joined with the dead ones families.

Jenny could see they were getting violent with each seconds and some started to break hospitals property.

She decided to go there and calm them but she also didn't know what exactly happened. But she knew that they won't get to know the actual reasons in the future.

Not everything can be disclosed and stress public. She decided to go in front of them and make them realize that all are natural, maybe God wanted them to die in that twenty minutes.

She didn't realize that it was suicidal to go in front of them. If they could understand so easily than why all the doctors were told to leave.

She was about to go towards them but someone hold her from behind and dragged her away from the mad crowd.
