Chapter 2

"SO, WHAT did she say?" Seth asked leaning against the door.

"She said yes. She will come." I said, and he fell.

"Seriously?" Seth asked shocked.

"Yeah." I said and smirked again.

Boy, was I great.

THANKS FRANK for making my task easier. Now, I can do my work much more easily. I can keep an eye on you now. Great. This may give me the chance to take a revenge on his father and him. Thanks God. Today is my lucky day.

Wizvi looked at me like I was crazy. I rolled my eyes and wore my sneakers. She was still there standing thinking about something.

"He obviously has something in mind." Wizvi said like a FBI officer.

"Nice one, Wizvi. Whatever he has, I don't really care but now I will be able to have my revenge." I said furrowing my eyebrows.

"Oh please, Abby. For a second, think straight. Does he like you?" Wizvi asked.

"I don't know but I hope he doesn't." I said and then walked out of the house.

I was waiting for him to come as it was 5 now. Come on, Frank. You can't be late. I kept on pacing at the lane, when a Porsche came right in front of the house. The tinted glass was opened and I saw Frank. I felt like slapping him but I smiled.

"Hey you're late." I said smiling. Can I just kill him?

"Hello, I'm late only by 2 minutes. I am sorry, Abby. Just sit in please?" Frank said opening the door for me.

I rolled my eyes and sat in. So, I have got two works to do. One, keep an eye on him and Two, take a revenge on him. But how? He drove us to a nearby cafe and then ordered coffee. The coffee came but we two sat silently. What are we supposed to talk about?

"So, this is not a date right?" I asked making things confirm.

"Well, if you want to make this a date then yes it is." Frank said with a wink.

"No winks and no, I don't want this as a date." I said irritated. Who wants to go on a date with him?

He nodded and drank his coffee slowly. I took a sip of my cold coffee thinking about what to do. What should I do now? I have actually nothing to talk with my enemy.

"You like studying a lot, huh?" Frank asked.

"Yes, I do. You obviously don't like studying, do you?" I asked leaning against the chair.

"As a matter of fact, I do." He said and I looked at him in disbelief.

He bite his tongue and looked away from me. Sometimes truth just come out.

WHAT SHOULD I talk to her? Is there something interesting to talk to this geek. Then I asked something interesting.

"You like studying a lot, huh?" I asked.

"Yes, I do. You obviously don't like studying, do you?" She asked leaning against the chair.

"As a matter of fact, I do." I replied and she looked me in disbelief.

Oh shoot, I wasn't supposed to say that. Why did I even say that to her? I bite my tongue and looked away from her, I guess sometimes truth just comes out.

"You like studying then why don't you study?" Abby asked putting her hand on the table.

"Because it will ruin my reputation." I said and then bite my tongue again.

Why do I need to tell her everything? What's the actual need? I am just going to get her and then dump her. So, what's the point?"

"Your studies are much more important than your reputation, Frank. You can't just run from it. If you like studying then you should study and do good result." She said with a serious tone.

"Look, I didn't want your advice. So, don't give me one." I said crossing my arms.

"For a moment, I thought we could get along but you are annoying." Abby said getting up.

Great, I just messed everything up. Control your anger, stupid Frank. Control. I followed her out.

"Hey, you can't leave me like that." I said like a girl. Whoa.

"Just leave me alone." Abby said as she was passing the road.

I saw a bus coming towards her.

"ABBY." I yelled and she looked at me and then at the bus.

She wasn't moving was she frozen or something? I quickly ran to her and moved her aside. The bus drove away fast from behind us. After that we both were quite and I just dropped her home. It wasn't a nice coffee after all.

I SLOWLY walked inside the school. I hadn't talked to Frank yet. After what he did. it was worth saying thanks. After all, he did save my life though I hate him with all my guts. I sighed and opened my locker. I had said this all to Wizvi and she was shaking in anger but then she was clam and said me to say him thanks. I saw the routine and it was P.E. Oh God I hate P.E. I went to the homeroom to find Wizvi already. I changed into my dress and sat down.

"Why is Mr. Smith late today?" Wizvi said sitting next to me.

"I dunno. Um.. when should I say him thanks?" I asked Wizvi.

"As soon as P.E. ends." Wizvi advised and I nodded.

I sighed and went to the grounds Mr. Smith had arrived. Our lesson started and I was doing pretty well. After the class ended, I happily walked out of the class and got changed. I went to my locker and then looked around to see Frank at hi locker. I walked to him and cleared my throat. He looked at me and smiled a little.

"Hey. Uh... about yesterday. I just wanted to say you thanks. Thank you for saving my life and I am sorry to ruin your mood." I said looking at my hand.

"You're welcome and it's fine, Abby. I overreacted. You know how I am." Frank said smiling.

"Yeah." I chuckled a bit.

"So, I'll meet you later... I guess?" Frank asked.

"Yeah sure. Bye." I said and went to my next class.

SO, SHE said me thanks and I... got confused. Wow. I am changing while being with her. Anyway, I went to my class and then to my b-ball tryouts. Seth met me up there.

"So, how was yesterday?" Seth asked.

"Disastrous." I replied.

"Why?" Seth asked giggling.

"We were all good but then we started to annoy each other and she burst out of the cafe and she was getting nearly killed and I saved her. Then today she said me thank you. That's all." I said and he laughed out.

"Now, that's a nice start. You aren't going any further." Seth said and I glared at him.

"She's a tough nut to a crack so... gotta go slowly, dumb-ass." I said and he rolled his eyes.

We did our own work after that. Tomorrow I have to do something for her to start to believe me. But what?
