Josh was getting on my nerves, he complained the whole day how his bathroom wasn't his anymore and how I bombarded his cabinet with my toiletries which honestly wasn't much just the usual you know, a few fruity-smelling shampoos, conditioner, lotions, shower gel, foot cream, body mist, and Ofcourse soap. He was being a drama queen but Of course for a guy who survived on a bar of soap and shampoo, this had to be too much.

Apart from his nagging which was constant, nothing happened you know nothing worth gossiping about - Danish and Lekha did not sort out their differences and egos, neither did Zarine give up on food, However, there were rumors flying around that Josh was apparently dating this girl from the 'hot chicks' clique.

And honestly, I wasn't surprised much all his traits had directed that he would eventually end up with one of them. The whole class buzzed with this new gossip. This hype was first created when Angela and Danish had broken up in the 9th grade and since then people have been predicting about Lekha and Dan.

High school feeds and survives on such drama, how dramatic! And no matter what we say, we all like our share of popularity and gossip. So everything said and done Josh was in fact dating Saloni. Saloni was a sweet girl, a little slow but sweet.

"Soooo, you know right?!" Zarine drawled

I scrunched up my nose and asked, "Whaaat?!"

"Umm, you know the latest gossip about..."

I gave her a death glare.

"Whaaat?!" She squealed.

"You are okay right?" She asked

I gave her my bored straight face and said, "Obviously Zar, that was just a moment and I'm so over it, it was nothing really," I said.

She just smiled and said, "If you say so."

I nodded my head, "I know what you're thinking and trust me it ain't like that zar, really." I said gravely.

She held my hand and said, "Okay."

And just like that it was all good.

I was alright, yes.

Why wouldn't I be?

Josh and Saloni were cute together.

Ughh! Who was I kidding they were irritating and too mushy. Always together, holding hands, whispering, and laughing. Josh and I barely talked, he was mostly with Saloni doing God knows what, I was beyond irritated.

My apartment was pest free and livable so I was ready to shift. I went to gams after school as always. The door was open so I sneaked in; Gam was at sunflower she had called. So I went plopped on the couch and dropped dead.

"Venkyy...Is that you?" A voice came from his bedroom.

I jumped a little and groaned, "Haaan!"

"Lunch is in the microwave, Ma has made paneer." he yelled.

"Yayay!" I yelled back and did a happy dance.

I set the timer and went into his room to get my things, mostly some toiletries and a few clothes and books, so yeah most of my things were in his room.

I went in without knocking and quickly squealed, "Eeeeeeee! I'm so sorry."

"Venky where are your manners, you cow!"

"I'm so sorry; I didn't know Saloni was here. Couldn't you tell me?!"

"It was your fault admit it for once, you uptight snob.." He yelled

"Shut up you brainless rat.."

"Youu..."

"Okay guys hold it I'm still here!" Saloni shrieked.

"And Kalsi you can turn around and move your hand from over your eyes, we weren't doing anything," she said with a red face.

"Ow yes" and I turned around

"Hi Saloni!" I waved like a retard, I'm so sorry for barging in, I just need a few of my things."

"What did I tell you she really is a cow." Josh looked at Saloni and said

"Shut it, babe!" Saloni said then turned at me and said, "Its okay Kalsi I'm sorry for invading your room."

"Hey it's my room!" Josh retorted

"Yes but she lives here too, just look around babe." she said

"We both looked around like we were seeing the room for the first time and Oh My God was she right, it looked like it was our room, my books and clothes scattered everywhere with Josh's clothes."

"Shit!" We both said together.

I looked at Saloni and said in a serious tone, "look this must look wrong but my house had these insects crawling everywhere and there was pest control and I had to shift here and gams' bathroom is too small and doesn't have a geyser so I used Josh's and somehow all my things got scattered here and.."

"Woahh, Kalsi it's fine I trust my baby and I for sure know you, I trust you guys."

"Thanks babe." Josh said and side hugged Saloni.

"Ookay so I'm going to get my stuff and run away." I said.

"How about we have lunch first!' she exclaimed and we agreed.

Lunch was fine, I and Josh hardly spoke and Saloni babbled her way throughout.

She left after lunch and we stood awkwardly.

"I'm going to get my things," I said

He shrugged and I went in to gather my things.

He came after sometime and plopped on his bed.

"Finally my room isn't going to smell like fruits anymore."

"Yeah, all yours now."

I was folding my clothes and Josh spoke again, "Soo Saloni is nice Haan?"

"Yeah." I shrugged and said, "Yeah she's sweet."

"She talks a little too much but that's okay." he said like he was justifying something.

"Yeah." I said and finished packing my bag.

I left and went to my apartment; gams' apartment was more homelike than my so called apartment. I felt weird, sad for some reasons unexplained. I even cried a little, to be honest and after a long long time, I felt suffocated and had to take my meds.

That made me better much much better and I dozed off.
