Liam Drelavine: No Regrets!

The fragrance of lily's and orchid's spread everywhere.

The cool wind made the sea of flowers danced beautifully. The sun's little warmth were slowly fading away.

A beautiful scenery of sunset was being witnessed by an old lady through the balcony.

She was sitting at the wheelchair.

Her hair that was always long, dark, straight and silky was now short, gray and lost its shine. Her beautiful face that was envied by many and captured countless young man's heart was now lost its youth.

After 96 years living in this land, she knew her life would be taken from her anytime.

The old woman closed her eyes, letting the cold wind and the fragrance hugged her body.

She reminisced her life.

She was born in a normal family. Not poor but not rich enough. She graduated elementary, middle school, high school, and college with medals and title.

She worked at the biggest company in the country and was even promoted as a CEO at the age of 45.

She had dated finest men.

She had become a legendary figure that she was even featured in a book.

She had beauty, brain, wealth, and fame.

What else could she wished for?

She might not have her own family and husband. But she did not need it.

She had her brother's family, his only sibling to doted on.

She lived her life to the fullest.

She might did bad decisions in this life but they were all fixed and became a stepping stone for her to stand higher.

She did her best.

When she retired she lived her life comfortably and in luxury.

She was happy and contented.

She had no regrets in this life.

Opening her eyes, she accepted death.

She would enter reincarnation and lived her life again in the fullest.

She stared at the clouds that was darkening. Her surroundings became darker and colder for the night that was coming. At the same time, the body of Liam Drelavine become colder as her soul was taken away.

Liam float in the air while looking at her own body.

She cringed.

How ugly and old she had become!

"Liam Drelavine : July 02, 2018, 6:05 pm, at LD square garden, expired her 0001xx lifetime within 96 years." A child voice said behind her.

Liam tore away her gaze to her old body and looked at the source of the voice.

Two beautiful children stared back at her. They both had the same silver hair, the other was shorter. They had the same height- about the age of four , same blue eyes, and same baby face. They also had the same look : bored.

The child with a longer hair was the one who spoke.

The other child with shorter hair was holding a notebook.

They looked so adorable!

Being a granny made her love children.

She loved pampering her nieces and grandchildren ( her brother's grandchildren ).

She wanted to pinched their pale cheeks and cuddled them both.

Then her eyes shined.

"Are you angels?"

The children looked at each other. The child who looked like a girl spoke.

"Mortals called us that. But were not."

"Oh. Then, what are you?" Liam was curious.

"Inggots.[1]" Both of them said.

Then they started to walked on the air. Liam was following behind.

Liam felt very refresh. She got rid of her old body. The pain in her joints were gone and her constant migraine was gone too.

She was so excited that she will live a new life again.

Feeling enthusiastic she chatted with the two.

"Hey, inggots. Do you have names?" Both children shook their heads as a no.

"I would call you Jack and Jill then. Are you twins?" They shook their heads again.

"Siblings?" *shook heads*

"Cousins? Relatives?" The children looked at her, annoyed. But they still shook their heads.

"If you're not related how come you looked alike so much?"

"King Yama [2] created us. All inggots has the same looks." Jack said.

The two inggots did not bother to entertain every question of hers after that.

After a short walk through the clouds , Liam saw a long golden bridge. In that bridge, many souls like her- a puff of white smoke and little Jack and Jills' were crossing.

"Waaaa...what's the other side of the bridge?" Liam asked still amazed.

Feeling that Liam was asking seriously, Jack answered.

"The Underworld."
