Chapter 4

Its been a week since that happened and her real identity revealed by the Director. She had decided to resolve this no matter what. She will help them even if it means her freedom is lost.

She's on her way to the agency. This time she's not late. Today, she will be able to meet the Director's nephew and his colleague. And also she would brief them what will be inside the sindicate's turf. She directly went to the Director's office and there she see two unfamiliar people. One is looking at the window her back on her which see found so familiar. And the other is sitting in front of the Director.

"Agent Rodriguez, finally you're here," the director said calmly. "I want you to meet my nephew Capt. Mattheo Alvarez and his colleague, Thomas Enriquez."

When she heard the name, it was like she something spark in her. The familiar name of the guy. She is flabbergasted when the man, Capt. Mattheo Alvarez look at her. "Y..you!" She exclaimed blood rushing on to her face.

The director seemed confused. "You two know each other?"

"No!" She exclaimed

"Yes," he calmly answered.

She glared at him hoping that the saying if looks could kill he will be already lying dead in there. It was cut short because the director coughed.

"Oh well, you two will be working with each other so I want you to familiarize with each other," the Director said easing the tension

"Oh, we're kinda familiar," Capt. Alvarez said his eyes has that naughty glint on him.

She heard Lt. Enriquez coughed as he is stopping himself from laughing. While the Director is stopping himself from smiling with amusement. She is sure that she is as red as a tomato right now. Out of embarassment she rolled her eyes out at him.

"Anyway, Sir, I am here to formally tell you that I agree to your proposition," she said composing herself. "If there is no other way, I could help you with it."

"Very well," the Director immediately composed himself. "Mattheo and Thomas, you two go with Agent Rodriguez. I want you to discuss to them what you know and other things related to the case."

"Yes,Sir!" She answered and salute.

Director Ojeda shoo them away after further formality. Micah lead them to the empty conference room. "I just need to go back to the office to get some files then we'll start," Micah said and left them in the conference room.

"What was that, man?" Thomas asked him while laughing his ass off.

"Oh well," he chuckled and remember Micah's embarrassed face.

He can't forget it. It was priceless. He didn't even expect that his Uncle will be the way for them to see each other again. He really wanted to look for her for the past week but it was futile. He can't find her in the bar where they see each other. Who would've thought that she is an agent. A beautiful secret agent at that. Well, he is really looking forward to this as they will working with each other.

"We've already see each other before but we actually don't know each other," he explained.

"Wow, what a coincidence it is," Thomas said.

"Yes it is," he laughed. "I've been looking forward for us to see each other."

"What's the catch here, buddy?" Thomas asked him with a curious face.

"That's for me to know and for her to find out," he said, amusement sparks in his eyes.

It seems that he has an evil plan cooking on his head and no one knows what it is. Even Thomas saw how his eyes shine when he thinks of the beautiful lady. He really knew his friend beside him. When Micah returns, she gave them 2 folders each.

"I summarized everything in there. All you have to do is read that. If you have any other questions you can ask me," she said seriously.

"What's in here?" Mattheo asked.

"List of names of the members of Lavoiser-Oliveros Triad group. You need to be familiar with those people, they will be the most dangerous people you can encounter. Some are the list of their locations every now and then. Mostly they stay in France but recently there is a decline in France. Government of France is starting to suspect that they are encountering a triad member in their midst and so they have everyone in the elite society are needed to be investigated. And so they started putting everything here in the Philippines. Oliveros is a Filipino-French Citizen, no one has ever seen them as the Leaders of the Triad, so we'll focus on their loyalists, that way we can cut off their wings when the time comes," she explained.

"How do you know all these?" Mattheo asked seriously. He is suspecting her now. It is impossible that she knows so much when in fact no one can even go out of that turf alive.

"Let's just think that I went out of that turf alive," she said with no emotions at all.

"How can I trust a source without any proof at all?"

"The Director already said to brief you, I think it is enough that the source is trustworthy." She said

Tension starts in between them. Mattheo is angry that she knows every single detail with the triad when in fact no one has known what is happenning in there. They don't even know how the Triad is smuggling people to sell in another country. This is really a very complicated case and yet this Lady is spouting and giving them information that even them can't get a hold to. This is the craziest thing he would do if he trust a word or even the information written on the folders.

"If these informations are true, how many percent will we be able to enter their turf?" Thomas butts in.

"A hundred percentage that you can enter their turf. All you need to do is follow the plan," she said.

"What plan?" Mattheo asked curiously.

Micah looked at him with a dangerous glint on her eyes. He don't know if her words can be trusted but if they wanted to finish this task they would need to trust her, alright. He is conflicted now. As his heart is beating to trust her while his mind is telling him not to. He is now confused on what to do. Whether the this information is true or not depends on the trust given to each other.
