Nana walked into the office of the CEO of Simon Global Entertainment with little worry. Her boss always called her in on Fridays to ask her how the week went and they would have dinner together to talk about her schedules and new projects Jade wanted Nana to take on.

Little did she know she was getting the boot.

"Read it and sign." Jade put the folder on the table in front of Nana and sat down with her arms crossed.

"New contract?" She had felt very blessed since her friend Sleepy asked Jade to take her in after her company downsized the number of actresses in the agency. She was unemployed and too old to be the cute singer turned actress that she once was. It's been three years and she was waiting for her contract renewal. This was it. She was going to make sure to negotiate the heck out of this deal.

"It's a non-disclosure agreement for when your contract ends. More like an extension of the one that was included in your contract." Jade's cold tone scared Nana. Her boss had always been the type who was sharp with her words but Nana knew that Jade was a true blue softie.

She turned to her boss and asked, "Where is the rest of the contract then?"

"There isn't any. Once your contract ends, that's it. You are free to sign up with another agency of your choosing." Nana didn't expect that answer and was distraught.

"Was it something that I did?" She hadn't stepped out of line for three years and had worked herself to the bone to get to where she was. She knew that most of the opportunities that she got were from her agency's effort to build up her acting comeback.

"The contract was for three years. My favor is done." Jade's comment hurt Nana.

"Was I not good enough to keep around?" She didn't mean to say that out loud but since it slipped she didn't bother stopping herself anymore. "Did you get a new actress to build up?" Jade was known to give second chances to artists who were forlorn or hung to dry by their former agencies. Most of them ended up signing up with other agencies after their contract but they all kept their contact with Simon Global and Jade. Nana didn't realize that there must have been more to the story and she was living it.

"Is this what you do to all your artists?" She couldn't stop the tears from falling. "How come Sleepy gets to stay?"

"He is a rapper. I deal mostly with musical artists. It's my expertise." Jade was also the co-CEO of CUBE and most of the artists who were a part of Simon Global Entertainment ended up moving to CUBE or other bigger agencies. "It's better for you to be in a company that specializes in acting talents."

"Or you just got bored taking care of a has-been." Nana signed the NDA and was about to step out when one of Jade's assistants ran into the room.

"Boss, you have to check this out." The assistant showed Jade a tablet.

"Nana, stop." Jade was still looking at the screen of the tablet with a grim look on her face. "Come back here."

Nana didn't feel like coming back into the room but the steel in Jade's voice made her reconsider. "Is there anything else you want to talk to me about?"

The question that Jade asked rocked her world, "Did you have sex with Jay Park recently?"

Her eyes grew wide and she wondered how in the heck her boss was able to figure that one out. It's been two weeks since that happened. She made sure that they couldn't be found.

"How the heck did Jade know about that? I can read that question popping out of your head." Jade walked towards Nana and gave the latter the tablet. "I guess it's a good thing your contract is almost up. I don't have to deal with explaining why I had to let you go."

The mystery girl Jay Park took to a love hotel off the city is none other than the two-time winner of 100 Most Beautiful Face of the Year, former After School maknae, Im Jin Ah. Nana was sporting a scarf that Jay Park put around her neck before he pulled her into a french kiss in the middle of the parking area.

The new couple is gaining a lot of attention since rumors of Jay's song had been linked to the actress. He had refuted the rumors on this official Twitter account but now fans are hot and heavy over the video that shows that could render that post invalid.

"So I ask again, have you had sex with Jay Park recently?" Jade was ruthless when it came to self-inflicted artist scandals. She could bury an artist if she wishes. But Nana knew there was nothing wrong with what she did, except maybe forgetting to tell her manager and boss about it.

"It's not illegal to have sex with a single guy."

"It is if he is being investigated for being a part of a pay-for-membership T-Chatroom." Jade read the rest of the article out loud. "Reports of Jay's association comes with the heightened surveillance on the actor after videos of his sexual encounters have made the rounds on a private messenger chatroom. Mr. Park is one of the celebrities currently under scrutiny after being named as a part of the infamous T-Chatroom Scandal. As of press time, AOMG has not made an official statement regarding this issue. Mr. Park has been silent regarding the inclusion of his name in the ongoing scandal that has rocked the internet and the nation."

Nana melted into the sofa and sat down trembling. "This can't be real. He would never do something like that."

Jade was not amused, "Do you really think that he couldn't do that? He is more than capable of getting away with something like this. He has the money and the fame to get women into his bed and film them."

Nana shook her head vigorously. "You don't know him as I do! He would not do something like this...not to me."

Jade sighed then berated Nana, "You don't know men as I do." She looked at Nana with softer eyes when she said, "Don't be a victim. Fight this. I can help for as long as your contract stands. After that, you are on your own. I may be a lot of things but I don't let my artists get beat down by anyone while they are signed with me."

Nana couldn't figure out if Jade was a sociopath or just a really blunt person. "How can you say that after you just told me that you are going to use this as a reason to not renew my contract?"

Jade shrugged. "I changed my mind. I can't have people saying that I sacked you for being slutty. I mean, it's Jay Park. It's bad enough that you slept with him at a love hotel in the outskirts of a town, getting caught up in his scandal is going to make matters worse."

Nana felt the wave of nausea consume her and she threw up on the white tiger rug in Jade's office.

"Fuck me," everything was going down the drain, her Friday went from Free Day Friday to Fucked Up Friday. "I am going to kill Jay Park."
