Chapter 6

POV SARAH

"Good morning, Lilian," I say cheerfully.
She gives off a very good vibe.
"Do you already know if you want something to drink or are you still going to choose?
"
"I'll have a double espresso and a shot of whisky.
And for her, it could be a hot chocolate, preferably sweeter, because she doesn't like bitter things."
What?
How does he know that? I'm sure I've never said anything about it to him. Adam chose exactly what I like to drink most in the morning as if he'd known me for so long that he was already familiar with my quirks.
"Right, note!
Anytime, just call me!"
The girl turns away and leaves.
I'm still completely confused. It can't be a coincidence.
"You're very quiet.
" Adam finally says something to me.
"I'm like that," I say quietly.

"No, you're not.
You're only like this when you're sad."
"How can you be so sure if you hardly know me?
"
"I told you, girl, I know everything about you.
" He smiles, stroking my chin and bringing his face closer to mine. "Stop asking questions you already know the answer to."
His closeness makes my body heat up.
My cheeks are certainly red now, and I simply can't breathe. Focus, girl! I say to myself, trying to turn away from these treacherous sensations that Adam causes me.
"You know all about me...
I get it..." I whisper, proud that I've managed to form a complete sentence.
Then he releases my chin and steps back, letting me breathe again.

"You still haven't answered my question," he says seriously.

"What question?
"
"Why are you so quiet?
"
"I don't have anything to say," I shrug.

"Oh...
you have nothing to talk about... I see. Why don't you start by talking about that fucking tiny dress you put on?"

"You told me to choose an outfit, I didn't know I couldn't wear whatever I wanted."
"You don't have to want anything.
You just do what I want."
"Then why didn't you choose my outfit yourself?
" I ask quietly, lowering my head, annoyed that he's fighting with me.
With someone else, I probably would have shouted, but with him it's different.
He scares me and makes me horny.
The attendant returns with our drinks.
Mine was extremely hot, so I decided to leave it alone to cool down a bit. Adam, on the other hand, doesn't seem to care about the temperature of his coffee.
"Sarah, I don't know if you've realized this, but you live with me now.
So I think it's only fair that you get rid of your apartment."

"What do you mean I live with you?" I ask, completely lost. What the fuck is going on?

"I'm not going to say it again, I've already said it."
"But you don't even know if I...
"
I stop as I realize what I was about to say: "You only do what I want".
Those words echo in my mind.
"I'm glad you stopped and thought.
Sometimes, you manage not to be so stupid." He has a trace of a smile on his face.

"Why? Why do you want me to live with you?"
"You're mine and you have to stay close to me, always.
"
"But what if you don't want me anymore?
Am I going to live on the street?"

"When I don't want you anymore?" he wrinkles his brow, confused.
"Yeah, one day you'll get sick of me, and then you'll tell me to go away.
"
"Depressive bitch, I'm not going to get sick of you.
"

I don't answer anything, thinking. How did I get myself into this situation...

...

POV ADAM

Sarah was extremely quiet throughout our breakfast, and it's already stressing me out. She wanted to go out, and I brought her out. Why the hell isn't she happy?
I finish paying the bill and we head for the car.
I hold her arm, and Sarah looks at me, startled. Her gaze moves from my arm to my eyes, and I realize she's scared. I let go of her arm and take a step towards her. She remains static, looking at me.
"Let's go over there.
" I point in the direction with my head.
She just nods and starts walking again.
Why? Why doesn't she say anything? Why doesn't she say anything? You stupid bitch.
I take her hand and we walk to Central Park since we're close to it.

Right at the entrance to the park, we see a stall selling ice cream.
Maybe this will cheer her up a bit.
"Sarah, would you like some ice cream?
" I decided to let her choose, at least this time.
"Yes," she replies, showing a little excitement.
Her eyes sparkle. Yes!
We walk to the stand, where there is a small queue.
When it's finally our turn, I place our orders.
"I'll have dark chocolate with caramel topping, and for her, it could be blue sky, with strawberry syrup and chocolate sprinkles.
" I know what her favorite ice cream is. She has a completely childish palate, but I think it's cute in a way.

We take the ice cream and start walking around the park. Sarah eats the ice cream, smiling.
"It's kind of boring, you know?
" she finally says something.
"What's not funny?
"
"If you already know everything about me, there's nothing I can do that will surprise you.
"
"Yeah?
And what's the problem?"
"Hmm...
I don't know, I just find it kind of boring."
"I don't.
I like knowing everything that's ever happened in your life. Knowing everything makes me feel closer to you."

"I don't think you know everything %."
"Go on, ask me a question," she challenges.

"When I was a child, I had two friends at school.
What was their name?"
"Easy.
Andrew, you still talk to each other, and he came out as gay a few years ago, but you always knew about his sexuality. The other was Eduardo, he has Down's syndrome."
"You got that right...
"
"Next time, ask a more difficult question," I smile.

"Um...
right..."
"You don't believe I know everything about you?
"
"No, I don't.
"
"One day you'll see that it's true.
"
We continue walking in silence.
Sarah looks at the places with shining eyes, she seems to find everything here very incredible. But then she stops and thinks for a while.
"Why me?
" she asks suddenly.
"Because I wanted you," I shrug.

"Yes, but why me?
"
"Hm...
it's not time for you to know that yet," I say, holding her chin and examining her beautiful face.
"I wanted to know something about you too," she says, a little sadly.

"You already know a lot," I conclude, letting go of her.

"No, I don't!
I know where you live, your name, and that you like dark chocolate ice cream with caramel syrup."
"That's enough for now.
She doesn't need to know anything else for now.
"How old are you?
"
"Look, I'll give you one chance to get it right.
If you get it right, I'll say yes, but if you get it wrong, you'll have to go a while without asking me about myself. Understand?"
"Yes, I understand!
"
"Then go.
One chance."
She looks at me closely, analyzing me carefully.
I confess I like that.
"?
" How the fuck did that girl get it right? What the fuck."
"Yeah," I mutter.

"Oh, I got it right!
" She jumps for joy and then smiles mischievously, comically. I don't say anything, I just keep walking.
"Hey, are you mad?
" she asks worriedly.
"No," I reply simply.

"Are you sure?
" she asks fearfully.
"I already did.
"
Sarah holds my hand, making me stop walking.
She stands on tiptoe and kisses me.
"Don't be mad at me...
" she asks, placing a few kisses on my neck and sliding her hands down my abdomen, towards my pants. I shouldn't, but it turns me on like crazy. My cock wakes up instantly, which would be wonderful if we weren't in a fucking park.
