Ring... Ring... Ring... (alarm clock)

"Avrianna, wake up! Turn off your alarm!" My Aunt waking me up. She wakes me up irritably. Ate Jeany is my Tita's sister which the one who manage the boarding house now. I call her cousin instead of Tita or Aunt because she won't allow me to call that. So, I called here cuz instead of Tita. We shared room because I stay here for free.

I turn off my alarm and yawning. "I'm going to take a bath now, cuz. Is everyone done taking a bath?" I asked her because I know she woke up early. She needs to wake up early for turning on the water. Our schedule for the water is just only 5 am to 8 am, which needs one of us woke up early.

"Yeah, they are done! You must be in a hurry, it's 7 am already." She said!

I quickly take a bath and managed to put clothes into mine. Eating my breakfast in a hurry and getting myself ready to go to school. Since it's the first day of the school year students are all much excited but can't hide the nervousness. I, as a freshman, can't handle things clearly, it's my first time to be in this situation. Alone walking into the gate of my school and never looking away. There's a lot of students in the quadrangle making their self felt comfortable. Everyone wearing freestyle as if it's the first day, we are free to wear any dress that we would like to wear by following the rules and regulations of the school. I am wearing my black BNY Jeans which my Mama bought last year with the plain maroon V-neck t-shirts and matching my favorite shoes. Yes, it is just simple yet presentable, I never had shopping last week, I never buy new any clothes in the mall because I don't have enough money for my basic wants.

I need to budget my allowance since I'm not rich. My parents gave me enough allowance for the whole week so only food and for school needs. I looked everybody wearing a presentable look and all I can say they are lucky to have a family from a rich one.

After the flag ceremony and the introduction from the teachers I am now heading to my room. Luckily, I found my room last week while visited here with one of my new friends. I sat in the second row and make myself comfortable. We are just a few students here because it's the nature of Filipinos that when the first day of school teachers cannot give you a lesson right away.

This school is different fro others because we had our first discussion right away. The first thing we introduce ourself one by one then teachers giving us instructions then activity. It sucks me!

"Is anyone taking this seat?" a tall short hair with a 5'7 height asking me and referring the seats behind me. She is pretty, skinny.

"Not yet!" I answered her questions and smiled. I can say that I like her because she seems like a good person. "I'm Marikit." introduced herself.

"I'm Avrianna." I offer my hand to her and she willingly accepts it.

My first day end with laughter and I making a lot of friends. It is not bad for me because I met new friends that I never imagined. We are having a conversation with each other and exchanging laughter.
