QUINN

"Khloe," Maggy called. "Why were you talking to Miss Mojo and her Powerpuff girls?"

I snorted before I sipped my Mocha Frappuccino. It tasted good but it didn't please me to the extent. And Miss Mojo? Not bad... So Hilary must be Blossom while Tiana was Buttercup and Bailey was Bubbles.

Khloe shrugged and then she gave me a suspicious smile. "It was nothing. I just told her to keep her pink underwear in check."

I heard James laughed suddenly across our table. His brown eyes lit with amusement as she leaned forward on the table. "Want to plan something wicked for them?"

With a frown, I chose to stay quiet, listening silently at their dull conversation. Seemed like Khloe had friends who do nothing but stupid. Boring, lame and unexciting. As long it could divert them, they had no care that they were doing something foolish. Like my oh-so-called friends before, they were just one of the pawns of their own insecurities.

Maggy giggled, leaning her redhead against her boyfriend's shoulder. "What about car vandalism?"

I rolled my eyes tilting my head around to find something interesting. However, all the people around the Atom Café were busy with their own conversation except for a group of guy who were staring at me like I was something to consume.

Khloe shook her head. "I think I'm gonna pass. I have better things to do with myself. Right, Quinn?"

"What? Play with yourself?"

Maggy and James burst out laughing while my sister gaped at me but we were interrupted when Ella spoke suddenly.

"Why are you talking with Arisa? Didn't we warn you that she's a cheating bitch?" she asked, staring straight at me.

I rolled my eyes. "Yes, I know but it doesn't mean I can't talk to her and it is really not your business."

Ella smirked sarcastically. "You like her, don't you? So you're hoping that you can change her from being a slut to be a loyal girlfriend of yours. Dream on, sweetheart."

I gazed at her bored as Risa's voice echoed through my mind. Really? Ella is okay?

Then why this blond gossiper kept on insulting her in every sentence she would escape from her ugly mouth. Clearly, she had no clue about the game as well as Maggy and James. I didn't want to involve someone who doesn't know about my secret. It would be a risk for me.

I heard Khloe laughed silently so I gave her a defiant glance, causing her head to drop, gazing down at her own food that she was devouring.

"And why are you using Khloe to make her feel jealous?"

I glared at Ella threateningly and I almost stood up from my own seat but I stopped myself remembering that this obnoxious bitch didn't know who was she talking to. I just stayed silent, watching Maggy and James make-out in public as they ignored the heavy atmosphere around them. Proof that they really didn't mind that a fight was about to commence in here.

Sipping my own boring coffee, my head was starting to cool down but Ella continued her taunt at me. "Seriously, Quinn. You can be the sweetest girl in our school but I want to tell you that we know what's behind that innocent face of yours. You can act like a wingless angel all you want but I know you're an evil inside."

I heard my sister whistled, knowing that Ella was now in trouble. I chuckled humorlessly at her statement. "And what? Spread the news like you've done to Risa? You know nothing about evil, Ella. If you already knew, then why are you saying all of this to me?"

Ella shut her mouth as her brows bent together, bothered by my words.

"Stop, Quinn," Khloe whispered to me.

"Stop?!" I snapped at my sister. "She's the one who started this," I reasoned out before I glared at Ella menacingly. "You want me out to the whole school like you've done to Risa? Fine! I'll give you what you want. Start with the reason why I was expelled from my previous school. Tell them that I'm a lying bitch who sent two horrid chic to the hospital bleeding."

"Stop, Quinn!" Khloe insisted desperately but I didn't take away my burning gaze away from Ella who was now gaping at me shocked.

"Are you threatening me?" she asked in horror.

I smirked wickedly. "No. I'm scaring you. Feel free to gossip around. I won't stop you but make sure you always watch your back if you do so."

"Y-You're not s-scaring me?" she stuttered, laughing nervously.

"Yes, I can totally see that so why don't you cool down for a moment?" I said and spilled my remaining cold coffee over her chest.

I stood up and turned around, hearing her shriek mingled with the customers' curious whispers and Scooby-doo couple's laughter. Some friends they were. I was now starting to believe that they were drug dealers as Risa had said to me.

I made my way to the parking lot, leaned against Khloe's beetle car and watched my sister rushed towards.

"I'm enjoying the food so why you decided to be the evil villain at the moment?"

"It was her fault, not mine."

Khloe sighed. "Why don't you drive yourself back home while I can continue savoring this café delicious food?"

I pouted. "You know I can't drive. It will be a disaster."

With a long sigh, she ushered me into her car and then she drove quietly as we made our way back home. Aunt Claire was still at work. Khloe and I headed into each of our own room wordlessly.

Waiting for Khloe, I collapsed on my bed and counted backward. I smiled when I heard her footsteps coming towards my room. My door fluttered open so I looked down at the book I was holding, pretending that I was seriously reading it.

"Quinn," Khloe called out while I could hear her footsteps drawing closer to me. She snatched my book and closed it with a thud so I looked up to see her playful smirk as she sat beside me.

"What?" I pouted endearingly.

She rolled her eyes playfully. "Don't put that sweetheart act on me because I know what's behind that angelic face of yours. Everybody thinks you're a saint from above but I want to tell you that I clearly know that there is living bitch inside you."

I giggled at her playful statement. "And what? Spread the news that I'm awesome," I countered back mischievously. "You know nothing about being a bitch. If you knew, then why do I have to teach you to fight back every time you complain to me about your crush bullying you by calling you a monster fat?"

My sister scrunched her face but she regained herself as her eyes lit with an idea.

"I know what you did last summer," she whispered cautiously and her eyes danced around as if there was someone listening to our own conversation. Like she was about to reveal that I really killed someone last summer.

"Remember that guy?" she continued silently. "That guy you beat up."

I rolled my eyes. "Yes, I remember. The guy who tried to molest you so I gave him a punch on his face and a kick on his butt."

"Nah," my sister objected. "You gave him a lot of punch and a lot of kick and a lot of bruises."

"Hey, I wasn't the only one who beat him. My friends and a few of the campers joined me as soon as they found out that he tried to molest you."

"And you started it," Khloe retorted.

"I was just being a heroic sister and I didn't even hear any thanks from you?"

She shook her head with a frown. "It's not a thing to thank for. What if he's now planning for your tragic ending for what you did to him?"

"And what do you want me to do? Watch him assault you? My sisterly blood was boiling at that time so I had no choice but to attack him away from you." Khloe sighed in defeat so I went on cheerfully , "Feel free to spread the words of my heroic activities but make sure you always watch your back from then on."

She sneered. "And what you're gonna do, huh?"

I sat straight up and pushed her against her back. She fought back but I hastily restrained her by sitting on her lap. Her eyes grew wide in shock but then she giggled uncontrollably as I tickled her in her stomach. My room was filled with joyful laughter until a familiar ringtone started to play, making both of us glance to each other.

Once I pulled out my phone from my pocket, I answered it immediately, knowing too well who was calling. "Hey, what's up?"

"Hey, Quinn. I just want to know if you're free on Saturday or... maybe Sunday?"

Silently, I randomly motioned my hand to Khloe to say something but she only gave me a similar gesture as a response. I nodded, pretending that we really did understand each other using our abnormal sign language.

I hummed and decided without thinking twice. "I think I'm free on Sunday afternoon. Want to come over?"

"Yes. I guess I'll see you on Sunday," Arisa replied, her voice sounded like she won a special prize.

"Sunday it is. Hey, I have to go. I'll tell you the time tomorrow, okay?" I excused myself, peering at my sister who was now smiling in amusement.

"So what's up with the F-U-very-much ringtone?" Khloe asked once I hung up.

I laughed and threw my pillow on her face. She made a face but didn't plan to payback as she rested her head over my shoulder. "Quinn, do you like her?"

"Who?"

"Arisa?"

"No."

Khloe purred playfully so I gave her a nudge. "So are you really going to find the proof?"

My sister giggled. "Maybe. Maybe not. I'm just giving her a thrilling ride through the rails of her senior year. Are you with me?"

I smirked, laying my head on hers. "I'm always with you but I don't think this is a great idea."

"Why not?" she asked.

"I need her," I answered simply.

She nodded. "So what's up with Ella?"

I frowned. "I don't know. I'm just being nice to everybody so why does she have to complain about it?

Khloe laughed. "Because you're treating her differently. So it's only a natural response for her to retaliate like that."

"But she doesn't need to involve you and Risa."

"That's true. But I wonder how long before she figures out that we're, in fact, sisters."

I nodded. "Why are you trying to hide it?"

"Because it would be fun that way," she answered with a foxy smile while reaching for the book to fumble with.

"Where is the fun in there?" I asked, taking the book from her.

"Can't you see how Arisa reacts whenever I'm close to you?"

"Yes, but I don't care," I said, and smashed the book on her head lightly.

Khloe wheezed, rubbing her brunette head. "You're no fun," she moped and then asked, "So why do you hate Ella so much?"

"I don't hate her. I just don't like what she did to Risa."

Khloe sat upright and stared down at me. "Do you like Risa?" she repeated. teasing me.

I shook my head, laughing. "No. How can I like her if her whole existence irritates me?"

Khloe shrugged. "Exactly."

"Exactly what?"

"Nothing," my sister sang playfully. "I've noticed that you don't like my friends, am I right?"

I let out a deep breath. "Yes, why are you hanging out with this kind of people?"

"Kind of people what?"

"They are dumb," I answered, a little bit harsh.

She rolled her eyes. "They're maybe dumb but they're fun to be with. They won't criticize you as long you don't do the same with them so I suggest you to not talk to them like that. I don't know why Ella suddenly changed. She was fine with you at first. Maybe she just doesn't want you to associate with those cheerleaders so you better apologize to her tomorrow."

I nodded slowly. Khloe was right. Dumb is a good thing. If her friends were dumb then they were not on my list of my troubles. "I guess I was a little bit inconsiderate at her."

Khloe laughed. "A little bit? You spilled your coffee at her in front of many people. You clearly humiliated her. So where's the 'little bit' at that?"

I shrugged. "She's still living so I don't think it's a big issue."

"Bitch!"

I pouted at her. "Don't call your sister like that."

"Bitch," she repeated.

I ignored her tease and turned the conversation to a different direction. "I really need to buy some props for Dad's house on Saturday. Can you come with me?"

Khloe looked at me, confused. "Props for what?"

"Props for making Risa believe that there are living soul at Dad's house. I invited her to come over, right? What makes you think that I'm going to let her into this home?"

Khloe burst into a fit of laughter. "And you're going to this extent just to make this game more electrifying?"

"Yes," I replied with a wide grin. "I think she's planning something on Sunday so I have to come up with something epic. Something that she will remember for the rest of her life."

"Ooohh, I can imagine some humping." Khloe cheerfully sang again.

"Are you helping me shopping or what?" I asked, paying no attention to her rag.

"I'm always with you," she replied with an eager smile. "So do you like her?"

I rolled my eyes and threw my remaining pillow on her face.

"Shut up!"
