"let me try with her", I said, that moment my mind went, "I hate feeling grown up", she wished me goodluck. I went and dropped the things that I was holding and walked over to her, "good day ma'am, can I be of sevice, my co-worker said that you may need help but she can't leave her post, so I would need you to explain and I would help as much as I can", I said, "I need to get some gifts, snacks and a drink for my family and I, we are just coming from a vacation and I need toget something plus we're hungry, my younger son can't stand the smell of cherries but his brother and I want a cherry drink and my husband wants cheetos but the boys don't like it, I'm at a loss, it's like all our food palete got mixed up during the vacation", I could see frustration written over her face, but her problem was an easy fix but I guess she's too stressed out to think straight. "Ma'am, your husband wants cheetos but since the boys don't like them, don't make them eat, I'm sure it's about cost, so I suggest you by a medium or smaller pack so that it does not waste, then buy some cookies for the boys, then you can have anything you want in a small pack, then for the drinks,"I took her to the fridge and showed her that, there were actually mixed drinks that had cherry in them as the main ingredient but because of other ingredients the smell won't be pronounced, she decided to get the drinks in different flavours. For the gift, she didn't have so much problem since they were requested gifts.

Around mid day, the place was a bit crowded but Noelle was fast, I was not needed most times so I kept to the break room and took care of Vel, we were having a wonderful time when the intercom buzzed, I guess I was needed again, I took, Vel in her car seat and dropped her off with gramps and went to answer Noelle, from the looks of things, it was quite bad, when I finally arrived I could see what had happened. A lady had let her child loose and was causing a scene when another customer approached her about it and she still abandoned the child to answer the customer, I decided to stop the source of the problem, I went to the child and squatted to his level and turned him to face where his mother was still in an argument, "your behaviour is causing your mum to be tired, stressed and unhappy, and that makes everyone to be the same too, I know that you don't want your mum to be hurt, so stop throwing things around and scattering everywhere, you do want to be a good boy for mummy don't you? he nodded, "now to be a good boy, you have to help mummy everytime, pick up what you left on the floor, be obedient to everyone, humble and tough too, when mum ask you to do something do it okay? He nodded, "now go and hold your mummys hand, apologise to the kind sir and tell your mum that you are sorry for causing a scene". He did exactly that and it surprised almost everyone how the child that refused to obey had suddenly become docile, I gave thumbs up to the over busy Noelle and started arranging the shelves again, but packed up the spoilt products and sent it into the stock room.

When it was almost closing time which was by 4pm, a van came by and stopped by the outside bin, took the bags then dropped another bag in the help bin, much to my surprise it dropped a cart bicycle, it's a bicycle that has a small cart fixed at the rear but one of the cart wheel on this one was detached maybe broken. I told old man Nic and Noelle that I needed some things and would later on check the bin, they didn't have a problem with me doing that, old man Nic even said that it would encourage him to leave the bin as he had wanted to remove it before. So I waited till we closed and they were gone before I went to the help bin, I took the cart wheel that had fallen off and saw that it needed a pin to stay in place, I looked around and saw a small piece of iron and used small stones to make it stay in place. I drove it round, the spoilt wheel was dragging but it was better than nothing, I opened the top of the bin and started sifting through the clothes part, then I went to the appliances part, all in all, I found some barely used clothes, three leggings, a jacket, four tops, two pair of shoes, one was barely worn, a pair of slip-ons, a handless pot, a water keg without a cover, plates, cutlery, a small purse, a torn sleeping bag, it was thick so it should work, and a curtain. I saw a stove but it needed electricity, so I took the burner off and carried the frame. When I checked the time, it was almost 5pm, I tried to fit in everything as much as I could and started off towards home, I picked up some sticks along the way which made my load heavier and with the new mode of transport, I had to be careful so that I didn't have any accidents. I arrived home, did the routine water run, picked up some fishes and took it back with me, now that I had new things to save water, I filled them up so that I would limit the water run and have time to myself when I came home. I decided to spoil myself a bit and cooked a packet of noodles and a fish.
