Chapter 3 

Rita's POV

It was someone whom I had least expected. I smiled widely and jumped into his arms. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around me. It had been so long since I saw him and I just couldn't control my overwhelming feelings.

Kyler Sebastian,brother of Kate Sebastian. The only good guy in my life. He has been with me since childhood, he's like a brother that I lost. He too considers me as his other baby sister. And loves me as much as he loves Kate.

He went to Australia for his studies and now he is a successful doctor. Kate had told me he would only attend her reception because he was very busy and could not get a leave. I did not expect him here.

I pulled away from him and he looked at me smiling. "How are you A? It's been long ya?" He said.

"Of course it has. You have no time for me now Mr.doctor." I laughed. "And I'm fine. But look at you. You've changed." I said and pointed at him. I turned towards Kate and playfully glared at her.

"What? I didn't do anything. He was the one who told me not to tell you about him coming earlier." She said and raised her hands in surrender.

"I'm only sparing you cause it's your wedding tomorrow, don't you dare hide anything from me Miss." I said and smiled. She came forward and hugged me.

"You look really pretty."She said and pulled away. "You too" I said.

"Indeed you look beautiful Rita. What else, How's Raphael doing?" Kyler asked and I froze. He did not know anything about my situation. I looked at Kate and saw she was looChristopher at me.

"Umm... he's fine. He has gone for a trip." I said and bit my lip.

"Oh! Did he get any job out here? I mean,he must have because he has to pay the bills and also your college expenses. Poor guy!" He said.

I played with the strap of my bag, shifting my weight from one leg to another uncomfortably. Until Kate interrupted. "Of course he has and now without wasting any more time, I want to start my party so please get lost Ky." and dragged me by my hand towards the bar.

"Don't have too much fun!" I heard Ky saying and laughed along with Kate.

A few hours later

"This cupcake is gonna turn into my carriage to the p-palace,right Anne?" Kate murmured while holding a vanilla cupcake(which was looChristopher mouthwateri- concentrate!),while sitting on the floor,might I add.

"Kate! You've had too many drinks, you need to sleep it all out. Come on!" I tried to drag Kate up by her arms, keyword being tried. Instead,she managed to pull me down with her.

And then she started laughing like a maniac.

Do people become stronger after they drink?

I don't know. I never drank.

You know we both are actually the same-

"Kate! It's your wedding day tomorrow. You have to look as beautiful as a princess for Sean. If you don't sleep now,how will you look good." I explained.

She looked at a really cute scrunched face. "I will look ugly?" I nodded,like I was conversing with a kid. "I will look ugly like Sanaaya?" I laughed out loud at that.

Sanaaya was Sean's ex during some time in high school and Kate hates her to the core. Once she called her ugly in front of the whole student body and also spray painted on her car 'stay away from my BF'. Those were some entertaining days.

After a whole lot of persuading, I finally managed to get Kate to bed. And slept beside her. There were rooms on the floor above of the party hall so it wasn't much of an issue.

I can't wait for the morning when Kate is gonna suffer due to her hangover. Ha!

"Aaaaaaaaaaghhhhh. Someone make it stop!" was my alarm to wake up, I mean it was Kate who spoke that,more like screamed and woke me up.

"Relax Kate, I had told the room service girl to get you some pain killers and lemon water by 8:00. What time is it?" I said.

"Ughh, stop speaChristopher so loudly! And it's 7:58!" She shouted,and here she was telling me to speak softly.

Soon the room service girl came and Kate drank the lemon water and ate the pills. A few disgusting pukes and two paragraphs of curses later, Kate was all fine.

Then she and me headed to the beauty parlor, I seriously didn't want to go but she insisted so I couldn't deny her.

After two hours full of torture, the beautician was finally done with my makeover.

HAIR

The dress was really pretty I must say, in fact the whole look was pretty good. And I looked...different,in a good way. It's been long since I have dressed up for anything.

I thanked the stylist and went over to Kate's room where already many ladies were present. Avery, Kate's mom and Ava, her mom's sister. I knew them very well, in fact I grew up with them.

They smiled and ushered me to come in as they saw me. "Oh my! You look so beautiful darling! Reece and Rachel would be proud of you." Avery said,while cupping my cheeks. And Ava too smiled at me and said "I agree. You are one beautiful young woman. The one who will marry you will be very lucky."

I blushed and looked towards the ground.

"Okay ladies! Can we concentrate on my wedding for now?" Kate emerged from behind the curtain. I looked at her and gasped.

She was looChristopher so beautiful. I went and hugged her tightly. "You look so pretty Kate! I- I am so proud of you." She wrapped back her arms. "Bitch don't make me cry, I don't want to appear like an over-sized Panda in my own wedding." I laughed and said "But Pandas are cute though." She hit my arm "But not over-sized ones." She murmured.

I pulled away and chuckled.

"Let's leave girls." Avery said and pulled us with them.

Kate's wedding was going on and I was looChristopher at them in awe. I have always shipped both of them and my ship was sailing successfully. Of course I was happy. Kate had asked me to be her bridesmaid,but I denied, because I don't like unnecessary attention and I have terrible stage fear.

Love, A very complex feeling, a strong feeling of affection, protectiveness, warmth, and respect for another person.

And totally surrendering yourself to the person you love.

As scary as it sounds, it is a really beautiful feeling, one which you understand only once you fall in that feeling.

Kate and Sean are really an ideal couple to me, even though they had their own differences, fights and small break ups but in the end, they are totally in love with each other.

After the wedding, the cake was cut and everyone began feasting on the dishes. Kate and Sean were somewhere taChristopher their wedding photos.

I sat in a corner eating my chocolate cake,which tasted like heaven,might I add.

"Hey!" I heard a voice beside me. I turned and saw a guy- wait, isn't he the guy from when I went for the interview. My eyes widened and I must say he looked quite handsome.

Wait! No! What was I even saying?! Stupid me!

Ya stupid you! Ha!

I was feeling nervous all of a sudden, Why? I don't know, maybe because a really handsome man in a really good looChristopher suit was standing in front of me, talChristopher to me.

But was I gonna show that? Of course not!

"Hi" I replied shortly and concentrated on my chocolate cake.

The chocolate cake is tasty by the way!

Have I said that before? No,right?

"So, what are you doing here all alone?" He asked and sat down.

"I'm not alone, can't you see there are 2000 humans surrounding me and of course you." I said and took a bite of my cake.

"Haha. Well, Are you Jamaican?" He spoke and I raised an eyebrow at him in confusion.

"Cause Jamaican me crazy" He continued before I could ask him anything.

What the heck? Was he trying to flirt with me?

Yes, captain obvious!

Come on A! Come up with something good..

"No I'm Finnish and I Finnish this conversation." I said while looChristopher at him in the eye and then walked away to the table in the farther corner.

I am proud of you, me!

That sentence is grammatically not correct!

Well, do I care? Nope!

"Is this seat empty?" A way too familiar voice asked.

"Yes and this one will be too if you sit here" I retorted and got up to move back to my table because no other table was empty.

"You know I just searched 'sexy' on google and your picture showed up." He wiggled his eyebrows,while sitting where I was, again.

"Search for 'not interested' you'll get the same result." I ate my chocolate cake.

Can't a girl eat her chocolate cake in peace?

"You are one sassy piece of meat aren't you?" He asked and chuckled.

I glared at him. "I'm not any piece of meat so if you please excuse me I need to eat my chocolate cake."

"You know,no girl has ever rejected me?" He said.

"Will saying 'there is a first for everything' be too cliche?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I find you a really interesting lady." He smirked at me.

I ignored him and went outside to where the dance floor was arranged and saw Kate and Sean having their first dance. They looked so cute together.

Christopher’s POV

The Girl In Green has been on my mind since I returned from Kate's wedding. I could not concentrate on my work nor on food, and sleep? not a wink!

The way she looked in that dress, completely different from those hideous clothes she wore when she came for the interview in FR.

The dress did justice to all her curves and the brown eyes, The ones I can't seem to get away from. I love her confidence. I meant it when I said no girl has ever rejected me.

Whipped ass!

No! I guess I'm just intrigued because no girl has ever rejected me?

Ya read that sentence again and find the lie! The whole sentence is a lie!

Shut up!

Again with that thing! 

I cancelled the early morning meetings tomorrow.Because I need fucChristopher rest. I guess the lack of sleep is causing me to think irrationally.

I even told my brother, Tristan, to take the interview of the secretary tomorrow.

All because of that girl?
