After the Anniversary Ball has been finished, Seigfred took Atty. Yhera home. When they arrived at Atty. Yhera's home, Seigfred did not open the car door yet. He stopped the car's engine and faced the very elegant and seductive woman beside her.

"Would you want to invite me to come in?" he asked.

Atty. Yhera shook her head and responded, “Not anymore, it's late and you're tired already.”

"When it comes to you, I will not be tired." Seigfred took Atty. Yhera's hands and kissed them both then looked at her with his almost puffy eyes.

"See, you're tired, your eyes showed it," Atty. Yhera teased.

Seigfred cupped the woman's face and slowly moved nearer to her. Yhera almost stopped to breathe. When Seigfred finally put his lips to hers, she did not resist anymore. She felt the world go round once again.

"I love you Yhera, I really do," Seigfred emotionally stated after the kiss.

Yhera's pulse started to beat wildly; she wanted to answer him back with the same words but she controlled herself, she needed to confirm something first. “Let me ask you a question first before I answer that.”

Seigfred's forehead creased as he replied, "What is it my sweet?"

"Rhoda, she cornered me while I was in the comfort room of the Anniversary Ball's venue; how true that someday you will be her husband? She warned me to stay away from you." Atty. Yhera's gaze to Seigfred was inquisitive.

Seigfred laughed out loud upon hearing Atty. Yhera's words. “Rhoda is like a little sister to me, that's all. His father and my father are best friends since High school. Now answer me Atty. Yhera, do you love me too?”

"Wow, that was a very direct question, your honor." The woman joked and then nodded with a smile.

Seigfred laughed and kissed her again with much passion this time. "I love you Atty. Yhera Kareel Munzana," he whispered after the kiss.

"I love you too Mr. Seigfred Yee," she replied.

Upon reaching his home, Seigfred walked going up the stairs unto his room, whistling. He felt so ecstatic. He had few women before, but he never felt so good after kissing them unlike after he kissed Yhera. Officially Atty. Yhera is his girlfriend. He then got his phone and sent Yhera a message. "I'm home my sweet. Good night and see you tomorrow. I love you."

His smile grew so big and slept with much joy in his heart.

The next day, Atty. Yhera received a beautiful bouquet of red roses with a note, signed by Seigfred. “I am the happiest man on earth now. I love you Atty. Yhera.”

Atty. Yhera could not contain her smile. Mila who was in front of her was also smiling. The secretary could sense something wonderful.

"Atty. Yher, I am happy to see you like that. You have been my boss since your first day in this firm yet only now that I see those eyes of yours really sparkle with happiness," Mila stated.

Atty. Yher looked at her with a smile still plastered on her face. “Yes Mila, I am indeed so happy now. I don't want to be afraid anymore to love again.”

As Mila closed her Boss' office door, a small tear of happiness fell from her eyes. She's happy for her. She saw how devastated she was when her former boyfriend screwed her.

Before lunch, Mila announced to all the staff, “Everyone, we have a free lunch today, so better not dine out. The food from Italliani's Restaurant is on its way for delivery.

"Wowow, you are very rich today Mila, what's the occasion?" one of the lawyers asked.

"Oh, I don't know Sir, Mr. Seigfred Yee just informed me now to tell everyone." Mila made a mysterious smile.

Everyone clapped their hands with a sort of question in their minds.

After office hours, Seigfred fetched Atty. Yhera from her law firm and they had dinner. Both of them could not contain holding their hands all throughout.

Three months passed and Seigfred consistently never failed to make Atty. Yhera feels special. He has lots of surprises. Atty. Yhera too reciprocated it with the same care and affection.

Like on their first month of being together, it was Atty. Yhera, who surprised Seigfred with an out-of-town arranged trip in Boracay. They had a wonderful time together. Seigfred canceled some of his meetings to be with Yhera on that two days of leisure time to celebrate their one month of togetherness. Atty. Yhera could not ask for anything else.

Almost one year after, aside from time to time, arguments and some jealous moments, nothing seems significant that would shake their relationship. Although Rhoda would always visit Seigfred in his office, he would make it a point that his girlfriend would know it immediately. He does not want her to know it from anyone. Yhera's trust is very important to him.

Today is their one-year anniversary and Atty. Yhera prepared a wonderful gift for Seigfred. She is unaware of the most unexpected turn of events that will totally change her life.

Seigfred called the Senior Business Partner of Atty. Yhera's Law Firm. He consulted and asked permission for something. After getting a positive response, he then called on to Mila's personal mobile number. After having agreed to something, he said goodbye to the woman and Mila could not contain her excitement.

After office hours, the Senior Business Partner announced that he made a dinner reservation for all the staff, so he encouraged everyone to join him and not to go home yet. He said he won a case and he wants to treat everyone. Atty. Yhera excused herself from joining them; saying that he and Seigfred would be celebrating their one-year anniversary and that Seigfred already arranged something for them to celebrate it.

The Senior Partner smiled and said, “Oh no worries Atty. Yhera, we will not disturb you and Mr. Seigfred Yee; you are absolutely excused.”

After a while Atty. Yhera received a message from Seigfred, stating that he is nearby. Hence, Atty. Yhera bade goodbye to everyone and waited for Seigfred's car in front of their office building.

After she left, all the staff of the law firm including Mila went to the Manila Pen for their dinner reservation.

"Hmm, Sweet, where are we going?" Yhera asked the man who is silent while driving his car.

"Manila Pen my love, I made a dinner reservation for us there," Seigfred replied smiling, and then gently gets Atty. Yhera's left hand and kissed it.

Atty. Yhera nodded, without any hint of the big surprise awaiting her.
