One : The Wedding

Farrah's POV

The wedding was wrapped up and we all gathered outside the church.
My mother cried as she escorted me inside the car.

"Take care, honey, I'm happy for you," she whispered and kissed my chicks before I go. They were all into this wedding.

I smiled, "Thank you, mom, you too, take care, you and dad," I responded.

"Congratulations, son," my father said to Liam.

Liam glanced at my father and smiled, "Thank you, sir," he said. My dad chuckled, "Sir? You are my son now, hope you call me Dad or father," he said. That was sweet, my father didn't change after all.

"Haha, I'm sorry, Dad," Liam responded and they both chuckled. It was nice to see my Dad so happy, but with Liam, he actually strange me, he didn't want our wedding but he managed to act like he loves this celebration, he was acting perfectly, and people won't suspect his actions.

I was inside when Liam's friend came and greeted us, I'm sorry, I am late, congratulations, Liam," the man said.

"Thank you," Liam said to the guy outside the car, he was smiling as he bowed down his head before he shut up the window.

"Let's go," he ordered to the driver, and when the engine started, Liam immediately distant himself from me. It was painful to see him doing that when he never did it before, he even loved to teased me before while poking my head, he sometimes fell asleep and leaning his head to my shoulder.

I swallowed the anguish that circulating within me, but then it has just gotten worst, even more, when I saw him texting someone, and it was Naila Mendoza, her name means "Succesful" which was true. Naila was a successful model, pretty and rich, lots of girls envy her a lot. She has blonde long hair, she was just too thin yet too sexy, it fits her tall height.

"I miss you," I saw him texted to her and I clutched my dress, and then instantly looked away, pretending I didn't saw anything, it was really hard to act like you're blind but it's the least I could do. It stabbed my heart a million times, it was suffocating me, honestly, yet I put myself into this!

"Why am I hurting this much when I knew it all even before the wedding?"

I closed my eyes and tried to just sleep, and just ignore and forget everything, but it was difficult for me to do it so, especially that I could hear his typings, loud and clear as if he was intentionally put a typing sound on her touch screen phone. They were texting each other the whole trip, and my mind couldn't stop thinking about what are they talking about?

My mind was uncomfortable so I slowly opened my eyes and peeked again on his phone. I rolled my eyes on his screen, but, how I hope that I didn't do it. That I should have kept my eyes shut and never wonder what were they're talking about.

"I love you, Naila.
In the future, when everything turned okay as it used to be, I will marry you and leave Farrah," he said and I couldn't hold it anymore, my tears stream down my face, wiping my tears immediately, he glanced at me without phrases to assert.

"Silly eyes!" I murmured and  I wiped my tears again, but it just kept coming out, I just couldn't control my emotions... I was deeply wounded, it wasn't easy to pretend that I was okay, what am I supposed to do?

Later on, as I kept being emotional, I heard Liam cursed as he barked, "Come on, Farrah, I know you are reading my messages secretly. Please, don't show me that annoying face, stop crying there as if I pity you! Even if you blubber there, I don't care, yeah I don't care even if you shed drops of blood! You are such a kid!"

An exasperated sigh drew on his face as he held his forehead, massaging it to lessened his annoyance to me.

I kept quiet as tight-lipped as I could and cleared my throat, "I'm so so...sorry," I managed to say, in a trembling voice.

I was expecting him to shout at me but he didn't. Instead, Liam didn't respond and just dialed Naila.

Looking at me, he put his phone not too near to his ear.

"Hello, Babe," I heard Naila talking on the phone because Liam purposely turned on his phone's speaker for me to hear their conversations.

"Are you done with your photoshoot?" he asked her kept staring at me.

"Not yet, is your wedding is done? Is it great? Hahaha, I hope you enjoy your day with Farrah," Naila asked, giggling, and he groaned, barking, "Stop teasing me, you know that I had no choice, besides, the wedding was sucked, it would be worth celebrating if you are the one I married and not her. She only irritates me!"

He said the word "She only irritates me" in loud and hard stress while locking eyes with me. I wanted to faint...if only I could.

Naila was silent in the other line for a few seconds.

"Are you still there, babe?"

"Well, I guessed I needed to wait for you. Let's get married in the future like what you just said," Naila said with a soft and depressing voice and then Liam took a deep breath, gripping his phone tightly, and then whispered. "I'm really sorry, Naila, for all of what happened. And thank you, Naila, for understanding the situation, I'll see you within an hour."

"An hour? I thought you will be outside the country, isn't your are going to California after the wedding for your honeymoon? Are you not going in there?" Naila asked.

"Don't start with me, Naila. Why the hell am I going with her? The purpose of going in there was to make love and had a baby, why the heck are you saying those words to me, I will never sleep with her unless it was you. Do you want me to kiss someone else other than you? Do you want me to touch someone else body? That shit, Naila!" he exclaimed, his voice startled me, I have never seen him being mad like that before,I bowed my head and I was sweating in tension.

"Of course, no," she responded, still giggling that confused me, how could she still giggles like that when Liam was in a state that he could punch a person anytime!

"Then enough saying nonsense words to me!" he was mad. But thinking what he just said, well he actually kissed me a while ago. "Isn't that was considered a kiss even if it was just a fake?

"Temper, babe, I'm just kidding, want to sleep with me tonight? I will be home early," she whispered seductively and I saw Liam grinned as his eyes flashed, I could see in his eyes that he loved the way she said those words, "Of course, babe. I won't say no to you," he whispered back.

"Are they serious? Liam? Why do you need to hurt me that much? Did you hate me so much to make me feel this way?" my brain cried.

"Okay then, goodbye, Liam, see yah later, I love you," she said.

"I love you too," he responded before he broke off their conversation.

He was still smiling and I was tongueless, even Liam's personal driver has no dialogues to say because he as well, knew about Naila and him, he even met her a hundred times before. But then, how could he let us hear their conversations publicly? That was too much!

Turing my head outside the window, I frowned and just let the wind slapping through my face calmed my weeping heart.
