Chapter Twenty Four: Cancel the meeting

"Can I meet him?" I asked him. We were now sitting in his office. He was still surprised at my sudden gesture, but so was I.

His eyes met mine as he looked up from his phone and I heard a low growl.

"Please?" I asked him, giving him the puppy dog eyes.

"He is in my best friend's, Liam's pack in North Carolina." he replied.

"So can't you like call him?" I asked.

"Its not easy to call someone to the royal kingdom and especially since he is a human." he replied, as he focused his eyes back on his phone.

Maybe it was really difficult to bring him here or Ozymandius was making lame excuses so that I wouldn't meet him and it was so hard to tell because his face was totally void of emotions.

Now I had only one solution left, and I know there could be circumstances but it was worth a try.

"Please Ozymandius..."

No reply

"Ozymandius please..."

No reply

"Ozymandius please I miss him..."

No reply

This was a stupid idea, he would never agree and I would never ever meet my best friend again. Sorrow filled me as I stood up to leave his office.

"What will I get in return?" I turned back at his sudden question.

His eyes were getting dark in color as they raked me from head to toe.

"What do you want?" I whispered and then he was there, his arms gripping my waist tightly as he pushed me towards his chest.

His scent engulfed me as he started trailing small circles at my back.

"I want you Pearl, I want all of you."

Turns out that today was a happy day. After making some cookies with Zara, we both played some cards and didn't get to know when night arrived. The cook didn't also come tonight so dinner was on us and we had totally forgotten it.

So now Alexander, Zara and me sat on the dining table impatiently waiting for the pizzas to arrive when suddenly Ozymandius came.

I tried to avert my eyes from his muscular frame as he stood on the corner of the room, his gaze burning holes into my soul.

"Come here Pearl." he called me, his voice low.

I looked at him and as soon as our eyes met his eyes turned a darker color. I got up from the chair as I went to where he was standing. Immediately his large hand grabbed mine and he pulled me into his room.

" Wha.. " I tried to ask him, but before I could say anything, I was pinned to the wall.

"It's time to complete your promise amore." he whispered, his voice low and husky.

I closed my eyes as I felt his lips trail my neck, giving harsh kisses on his mark. His hands moved to my waist as he gripped it tightly and pushed me closer to him.

His hands moved into my hair as he stroked them. I met his eyes, which were ablaze with desire. His eyes moved to my lips as he started to close the mere inch distance between us.
But before he could do so, someone knocked the door.

"The pizzas here." Alexander called and immediately I pushed Ozymandius away.

"Food first." I whispered.

I tried to eat my pizza as slowly as I could. I could feel Ozymandius stare at me the whole time but I didn't dare look up.

"Won't you eat?" Alexander asked him.

"I am, but not this." he replied lowly as his hand moved to my thigh where he started trailing circles.

I swear this man was high today.

As much as I tried to eat the pizza slowly, eventually it was finished. I could feel the stare of Ozymandius as his hands moved into my thinner thigh.

I immediately stood up shaken by the sudden action and he followed persuit as he grasped my hand and started to lead me towards the room, but before he could do so a man came.

"Your magesty, Alpha Ryan is here and requests your presence."

Ozymandius let out a low growl and tightened his grip on my hand.

"Tell him to rest tonight, we'll talk tomorrow." he growled.

"But he says, he can't come tomorrow and the matter is important and has to be dealt with right away." he said as he bowed down his head, feeling Ozymandius heat up.

"Okey tell him im coming." he growled lowly.

He then put his arms around my waist and leaned in.

"I'm gonna complete what I started." he whispered.

I went into the bathroom to change into my nightsuit but turns out that there were no pajamas and all my night suit had been replaced with nighties. I knew Zara had done this because she felt I had a boring taste of night wear. And tomorrow I was gonna kill her.

But for the time being I was extremely tired because it had been an exhausting day. So I decided to wear the nightie for the night and talk to Zara tomorrow.

I came out of the bathroom, extremely uncomfortable in the net. I wonder how women slept with these. But the other option I had was to sleep with my jeans which was seriously unacceptable.

And another important thing was that it really didn't cover anything so I hoped that Ozymandius would not come tonight.

So I walked out of the washroom, humming 'everything I do, I do it for you by Bryan Adams' as I prepared myslef to meet the warm sheets that were waiting to greet me.

But little did I knew that would only be my dream. Infront of me stood Ozymandius as he raked me from head to toe.

I heard a low growl emit from him and immediately he was infront of me. His eyes had turned a darker color and his gaze was on my dress.

I saw him take out his phone from his pocket as he dialed a number.
"Cancel the meeting." he ordered.

"Why are you wearing this?" he whispered roughly as he raked his hands through his hair.

"I don't know, all my nightsuits have sudenly vanished and this was the only option I had. I knew Zara did this, I'm gonna kill her tomorr..." I started rambling, but before I could complete my sentence, his hands were on my hips as he pulled me closer to him.

"You talk too much babe." he chuckled and then immediately his lips were on mine.
