BEST OF FRIENDS

Chapter 1

IVY.

It's a pleasant get together at the Wyatt residence. Isabella Wyatt was one of my best friends back in high school. We graduated four years ago and we've remained friends since then.
Our families are all really good friends as well.
My parents, Isabella's parents and Ryan's parents are thick as thieves.
Ryan is my other best friend and just recently he had become something more.

His thrusts are fast and hard.
His joystick stretches and fills me to the brink. Our hearts seem to hammer together. The tiled wall of the bathroom is hard against my arched back.
I call out his name in a harsh breathe and try not to dig my nails too deep into his shoulders.

I love the feel of him. I love his warmth. He moves deep within me making me shudder as I feel the tip of his joystick scrap back across my sensitive honeypot walls before slamming back in again.

“Oh shit” he groans as his hand pals my breast before finding my hardened nipple ready and waiting. His head ducks down and his wet hot mouth sucks hard. His teeth scraps across the sensitive pebble and then he bit down. It takes everything in me not to cry out. I bite my lip so hard I'm afraid it's close to bleeding.

“Ryan please!” I whine, thrusting my hips forward to meet his.

The rushing earth shattering feeling is close and I want it so bad.

“Right there baby.” He growls, unlatching himself from my breast.

The small bathroom seems to close in on us as we release together. My muscles goes lax as my moment comes.
I can still his joystick pulse as his seeds shoot from him into me.

A rush of panic rolls over me when I realise we haven't used protection against. This isn't the first time but we're usually more careful about it. I make a mental note to rush to the pharmacy immediately after dinner and grab a morning after pill.

He holds me against tye wall, his face digging into my neck, his breathing harsh matching my own.

His warm lips graze the curve of my neck, creating goosebumps across my sensitive skin before he pulls away setting me on my feet.

I stand on shaky legs, almost unstable as a newborn foal, as I pick my underwear off the floor and slip it back on.

The sound of the small dinner party that is going on sounds through the bathroom door.

I pull my red lace dress down as it has gotten bunched at the waist and I pull the sphagetti straps back up my pale shaky arms. The front of my dress still bare my naked breasts and I quickly fix that.

Ryan dresses quickly. He pulls up his boxers and dark blue jeans that has fallen to his ankles. He then picks his stripped polo shirt from the floor and slips it on.

I run my fingers through by red hair sneaking a peak into the large bathroom mirror hoping it doesn't look bad and reapplies my make up and lipstick removing all smears.

Ryan checks himself at the mirror then gives me one last lingering kiss on my forehead, walks out closing the door behind him.

Smiling widely, I pick my clutch and follow Ryan outside.

The sound of silverware, laughter and loud music grows louder as I near the living room.

Today the families ate in a joyous mood as the new couple will be moving in together at the end of the month.

My two best friends are taking their relationship to another level and I just haven't sit and watch. I feel terrible. I'm a homewrecker and a horrible best friend.

I love Ryan. A part of me has always loved him and I'll forever love him. We can't keep doing this. Isabella is my best friend and the guilt is consuming me up.

Ryan's gray eyes find mine and soften. He always knows what I'm thinking or feeling. Perks of being a friend for a long time. But now...now he knows me inside out.

I smile softly before taking a seat next to my parents.

“Ivy... When should we expect to meet the love of your life?” Marie Wyatt asks, resting her head on her entertained hands.

Marie Wyatt is like my second mum. She's so caring and loving towards me and her home is always open for me. Her eyes locks with mine and I feel more guilt eating me up.

Ryan's eyes hardens and snaps at me, waiting fir my reply.
“Sometimes Soon...
” I lie.

I'm only 23 and my parents already expect me to be dating...to make matters worse, they expect me to be engaged!

They've been hooking me with various me but always end up turning them down. To stop them from further embarrassing me, I lied to them I'm now dating and my boyfriend and I are serious with each other. I told them I'll be introducing him soon!
Now my second mother wants to meet my fiancee as well!

Damn!

“Ivy raves about him all the time, he sounds absolutely wonderful and just last week she told us they're getting serious.
My mother says, practically bouncing in her chair.
My father seats next to her smiling pleasantly.

“I hear wedding bells.” Ariana Austin, Ryan's mother says clapping happily.

“Emily calm down before you scare your daughter into marrying.
Daddy says, his eyes twinkling at me.

“I doubt they'll get married.” A voice says.

Simultaneously everyone looks at Ryan who rigidly sits in his chair crushing his fork.

“Why would you say that?” Isabella asks turning to him with a frown.
She's a replica of her mother, a younger version if Marie Wyatt.
She's simply gorgeous.

“Because Ivy is Ivy. She doesn't like commitments. She'll turn and run the moment he bends down to tie his shoe laces.” Ryan chuckles humourlessly.

Everyone laughs thinking it's true. If they all knew what's going on between me and Ryan...

I stare at him angry, irritated and embarrassed. I'm super competitive and I'll prove myself.

With a completely crimson face, I wave a fork in his direction. “It so happens get proposed and unlike your assumptions, I loved every second of his proposal and I didn't run..I said yes.” The worse are out of my mouth and I instantly regret it.

The look in his eyes say it all. I'm in deep shit!

All the families look at me, including Isabella and the dining room is filled with squeals of happiness and congratulations. My parents are dumbfounded.

Now I'm stuck and I don't know what I'm going to do!
