Ephemeral

As all the graduates of the school has left one by one, two student seems to be waiting for a certain someone. the two walked around the school ground aimlessly. Clyde has been waiting for his friend that promised him some Samgyupsal as his congratulatory gift as he just completed college. on the other hand there is Andre, an orphan that lost both of his parents in an accident

"Jed! where are you? I kept on calling you but you're not answering!" Clyde yelled through his phone as it was sent to voicemail once again. he frustratingly sighed as he found a spot under the tree on the far side of the campus. he sat down with a loud thud that made the other person at the other side of the tree to look at him.

he remained oblivious around him until he heard sobs behind him. Clyde stood up as he looked for the owner of the sobs. given that the graduation just ended and the thought of all the students left awhile ago made him nervous.

Clyde walked around the tree only to find a man looking at his diploma, he was confused on why the man was crying. he then walked back to his spot waiting for his friend to pick him up but as he plopped down he heard the man mumble some words. he knew that it was not his business but curiosity hit him hard. he once again stood up and went back to check on the crying lad.

but as he made his way around the big tree he found no one. the sobs can still be heard but the man that were sitting there just a moment ago disappeared like a bubble. Clyde grew nervous and not to mention scared. he was about to run but as he turned around he came face to face with a white skinned man with a not so tall height.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Clyde yelled as fear struck him.

"h-how did you get in there?" Clyde asked the man but no words were given by the small man in front of him.

Clyde then tried to run away again but halted as he heard a thud behind him. he slowly turned around only to see the man he spoke to a while ago has fainted. he rushed to the mans side, shaking him once he knelled on the grass

"Hey! are you okay?" he shook the man whose lying face down on the dirt.

he sighed as he did not get any response from the latter. he turned the latter on to his back and was mesmerized by the sight in front of him. the Man was breathtaking according to Clyde's perspective. but as he slapped himself because of staring too much he fished his phone out from his pocket and dialed the emergency number.

he was about to tap the call button but as on cue, the man opened his eyes to see Clyde staring at him. Clyde's face was so close at his as Clyde tried to wake him up earlier

the said latter stood as quick as a lightning, then checked himself everywhere while on the other hand Clyde was astounded by the latter sudden action.

"Why are you here? What were you doing ?" the latter asked Clyde as he looked at him kneeling on the ground

"What am I doing? You fainted awhile ago and I was about to call for help when you sprang up and now you're looking at me like I am some kind of a pervert!" Clyde vented out his frustration solely because he was trying to help a man that fainted but was labeled a pervert by the latter he tried to save.

Clyde looked at the latter who's smaller than him and was once again astounded by his looks. he mentally scolded himself to stop staring at the latter's face.

"I don't believe you!" the latter ran as fast as he can while holding his diploma on his hands like his life depended on it

Clyde was once again astounded by the latter actions and was frustrated because he failed to reason himself out

he tried to run after the man but stopped as his phone rang. he looked at the callers name only to show his friends' name Jed. he answered the call frustratedly and went on rambling about what just happened while the waiting for his treat incident forgotten.

"can you believe that?! I tried to save him but he looked at me as some kind of pervert!" he shouted towards the phone as his eyes caught something on the grass.

"wait, wait, wait, wait, I found something" he put the call on hold as he picked up a silver name tag on the grass

"Andre, what a nice name" Clyde smirks while looking at the name pin on his fingers

"we shall meet again soon, but I have to admit.. I'm drawn to you the moment I laid my eyes on yours"

"Hello? Clyde! Who are you talking to? I'm in front of your campus Let's eat!" Jed stated as Clyde brought the phone back to his ear and the name pin in his pockets

he walked towards the exit as he saw Andre once again with his bag exiting the compound. he ran after him but failed as he lost Andre to the bustling crowd of the street outside the campus. as he searched for Andre everywhere he stumbled upon Jed whose out of breath

"Hey! I was calling you but your stupid ass ignored me" Jed said while catching his breath

"I'm sorry but I was looking for my future boyfriend" Clyde said as he ran once again, Jed being a kind lad he is decided to follow Clyde in search for his "boyfriend"

as they reached the bus stop they both halted when Clyde saw Andre getting out of a Car

Andre lowered his head to say thanks to the man that dropped him off to his workplace. Andre then waved goodbye and entered the Cafe he works at. but Clyde being himself got jealous and went inside the cafe to stalk Andre. once inside he couldn't find Andre anywhere but waiting for a bit got him feeling alright already as he saw Andre wearing a pink apron with pink bunny ears. his non existence jealousy then vanished and he stared at the latter for a very long time.

call him a stalker or pervert but he just found his love.
