It had been one month since Manish Singhania's death. Life had changed so much to Singhania siblings. They couldn't overcome their beloved father's death easily. It was hard for Anchal more than Payal and Sunny. She couldn't show her pain in front of her siblings, being strong and confident for them. They needed her strength, just like how they had their father's strength before. In addition to their pain, the media had crowded them for almost two weeks since their father's demise with numerous questions regarding Manish's sudden heart attack. It was new for Singhania siblings to face the camera.

"If it wasn't you, we would lose the confidence to survive as soon as our father's death, Suhan," Anchal whispered, looking at the waves, reaching the shore and disappearing next second.

Suhan wrapped his arm around her shoulder and brought her close to him. She buried her face in his heart and wept. It was the very first time after her father's death, she was crying. It was inconsolable pain. Suhan didn't make any attempt to stop her from crying. He wished her to take out all her pain by letting her tears flow from her eyes.

"Why did he leave us? He had promised us that he would be with us forever. Then why did he fail to keep his words? I want him." She sobbed uncontrollably, drenching Suhan's chest with her flood like tears.

He stroked her back soothingly and planted a kiss at the top of her head, indicating that he would be with her forever.

"He didn't break his promise, Anchal. His body was only destroyed. His soul is yet in this Universe and watching you, Payal and Sunny. Would he wish to see you in tears?" Anchal shook her head as 'no', yet weeping like a kid.

"Soul can never be destroyed, Anchal. He is yet with you in the form of his soul. You can feel his presence too." She looked at Suhan with confusion written on her face, "H...How but?"

Suhan smiled seeing her stopped her cry. He wiped her tears totally and held her shoulders gently, pulling her back from his embrace and made her sit properly. She looked at his eyes blankly. He couldn't stop himself from placing a feathery kiss on her forehead. She felt eternity of peace in his kiss. It was soothing and promising.

"Close your eyes." He whispered against her lips, fanning his hot breath against her cheeks.

She closed her eyes, inhaling his cologne which spread crazy fragrance mixed with his sweat. He held the hair strand fell on her face and gently put that behind her ears.

"Recall your beautiful memories with your dad." He said in his husky voice, which indeed created magic inside her.

Her mind rushed behind time and brought back the beautiful memories, which were attached to her father, sister and brother. They were mesmerizing. She could feel his father's presence at every bit of atom around her. He was yet living in those memories, which would be evergreen in her heart. Her lips curved into a smile. She was smiling after one long month. She was relishing the moment in her life after one long month. It was an amazing feeling. She could never describe that feeling of being sitting at warm beach sand under the twilight of sun, which was mixed with welcoming moonlight of that night and cool breeze kissing her cheeks, with the person, who made her feel special. She was out of words.

Suhan felt relief, seeing her smiling. He knew that he could never give her happiness just like her father. But somewhere he knew that she considered him as hers. She was so precious to him and her smile was his rare treasure.

"Thank you, Suhan!" She threw herself into his chest and hugged him tightly.

This was not her old self. She had never been this close with a boy being an introvert. But she felt comfortable around him and felt secured. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her petite figure and brought her more close into him. She could feel his thumping heartbeat inside his chest.

"There should be no thanks and sorry between us." He whispered in her ears, closing his eyes.

She hummed in response and closed her eyes, hearing the melodious tune of his heartbeats. Both remained silent and found solace in each other embrace. It was so mesmerizing and magical feeling. After feeling like an eternity, both part away from each other. Though they wished to be in the warmth of each other embrace, that was not the time for them. Suhan was very much desperate to take her in his embrace and marry her. He wished to see her as his wife and spend time with her till eternity. But he also knew that she needed her space to recollect her shattered pieces and her siblings needed her more than anyone. So, he gave rest to his desires and helped her to handle everything.

He looked at her face, which glowed in the rays of sunset, which hide her pink cheeks well. A smile crept over her lips, seeing her peaceful face. This was all he wanted. He wished to see his love without any pain. That happened.

"Come, let's have ice - cream. Then I will drop you at your home." Suhan got up and held out a hand for her to get up.

She held his hand and intertwined her fingers with his and got up. They walked along with shore on the way to ice cream shop. Silence prevailed between them, gave peace to their souls. Anchal liked this change in her life. She wished the time.to stop at that very moment and her life to be in the hold of his hand.

"Which is your favourite flavour?" Suhan asked once they reached the shop.

"Butterscotch!" Anchal exclaimed like a kid. Suhan smiled and ordered that for both of them.

"It is my favourite too!" Suhan said with a smile but winced when she pinched his hand, "Same pinch, Suhan."

"Why did you pinch me for that?" He looked at her with a pout, rubbing his hand.

"Was I hard? Sorry." She said with a sheepish grin and caressed his hand, where she pinched, softly.

He smiled at her. He loved this new development in their relationship.
