8: New home

The black generation Mercedes Benz made a halt Infront of a big mansion which was the car in which habiba, Amar and Amal drove in. "Mumy, will my room be huge?" Amal continued tormenting habiba. Amal didn't let her be throughout the ride.

"Yes it'll be" she said and Amal squealed happily.

The car parked Infront of the front door of the Mansion, and the trio all hopped out. "Let's go in" those were the first set of words that Amar ever said to habiba.

They all walked towards the door and Amar opened it and habiba was welcomed by a beautifully arranged and kept house. "This is your home now habiba" Amar smiled at her which she returned with a slight nod.

"Mummy let's go to my room. I want to check it out" Amal dragged Habiba by her arm.

"Amal darling, let me take you to your room. She's tired" Amar said and habiba nodded. "The room at the left over there is yours. Make yourself comfortable" Amar said and habiba nodded.

"I'll see you later darling" Habiba pecked Amal on her cheeks and Amal giggled. She took a glance at Amar and his hands were entwined with that of his daughter as they both headed upstairs, with habiba trailing behind them.

"What a beautiful house" Habiba thought while taking a glance at the dining table which looked amazingly kept. The house was indeed beautiful.

She entered into the room Amar had previously directed her to. The room was beautiful, with a king sized bed in the middle. "Well thank God I'm staying here alone" She mumbled while sitting on her bed. She got up slowly and began taking off her veils which covered her long silky hair.

She pushed her hand into her hair and let it fall properly on her back.

"I'm so sorry, I came to ask you what you would want to eat. Sincerely I am very sorry" Amar said with his head bowed to the ground.

"Thank God you are here" Habiba crossed her hands across her chest. "I want to speak to you" She added.

"Alright. About what?" Amar asked with a smile on his face.

"Can we sit?" Habiba asked and he nodded while seating on the big couch in the bedroom. His mind was deviated to her hair. It made him feel uncomfortable, he wanted to feel her hair. It looked amazing.

"I just want to make things clear between you and I. I don't like you, one bit" She mouthed which didn't make Amar surprised.

"I know" Amar said. "I knew from the very first day we met" he added.

"Thank God you do" she pushed a stray hair behind her ears.

"Look, I don't hate you. Thank you for agreeing to become my Amal's mother. I really appreciate" Amar said. Habiba stared at him calmly.

Silence,

"If you are hungry, you'll find food in the kitchen. My sister brought food for us" Amar said before swiftly turning away and leaving. Habiba on the other hand sat on the bed with her eyes staring at the door Amar had just walked out through. Indeed she disliked him allot, but she wasn't going to show it.

She decided go take a bath in the bathroom which wasn't hard for her to locate. She stood up and made her way into the bathroom and took a long refreshing bath before coming out. Immediately she came out, she got dressed into a black sweat pant and a blue polo shirt which was bogus       for her. She laid on the bed until sleep took hold of her.

Just like an hour glass, time ran so fast and the loud calling of the Adhan from the mosque awaked habiba who could hear someone else's voice calling her mumy by her side.

"Mumy I want water" Amal patted habiba lightly on her shoulder. "Mumy" Amal gave habiba a light slap on her cheeks.

"Yes?, Habib what is it?" Habiba said with that thought that it was her brother Habib disturbing her sleep like always.

"Mumy" Amal shook habiba lightly making her open her sleepy eyes.

"Amal what is it?, Are you okay?" She held Amal cheek.

"I want water" Amal said and habiba chuckled.

"Alright, do you know where the kitchen is?" She asked Amal who nodded in the negative because the house where they are leaving  presently is also new to little Amal.

"we'll find the kitchen then" habiba said and Amal nodded while climbing down from the bed to the cold floor that made her poor little uncovered feet's shriek.

"Mumy can you carry me?,  my feet's hurts" Amal raised her hands up which made habiba smile at the cuteness of the adorable cute soul before her.

"Sure my darling come" habiba picked Amal up. "Did daddy bring your socks" habiba asked and Amal nodded in the negative.

"Daddy is waizy" Amal didn't know how to pronounce the word lazy which made habiba chuckle as the two walked out of the room into the large hallway filed with paintings and artifacts.

"It's pronounced lazy" Habiba corrected and Amal nodded with a giggle.

"I think this should be the kitchen" Habiba said as soon as the got downstairs and infront of a door which was close to the dinning room.

She opened it slowly and she was right, it was the kitchen. She walked into the blue themed kitchen that smell of fried samosa and ketchup. "Stay here Amal, let me get you water" she dropped Amal camly on the table that stood in the middle of the kitchen.

She walked towards the fridge and saw a pack of bottled water and immediately gripped one for Amal.

"Here's your water. It's not that cold" she began opening the water to feed Amal who was drawn by the amazing smell of the samosa.

"Mumy can I have a samosa?" Amal asked. "No it's too early and I haven't offered my salat" Habiba said while feeding Amal the bottled water, which she drank unstoppably which led to a cough.

"Amal sorry" Amal fanned air from her mouth on Amal's face making her cough subside.

"Alright you know what?" Habiba asked while covering up the bottle water.

"what mummy?" Habiba asked.

"I'll make you samosa as soon as we are both done praying. Deal?" Habiba asked and Amal nodded with a broad smile playing on her lips.

"Alright let's go to the door" Habiba picked Amal up again and walked slowly upstate and into her room. Where she made Amal perform Ablution and pray. They both prayed along which was a cute sight to behold.

Immediately they were done praying. Habiba decided to take pictures of both her and Amal which she immediately shared on the family group chat. "Now can we go make our samosa?" Amal asked.

"Yes sure, come. But... We need to bath" Habiba said which Amal pout sadly.

"okay but after that samosa" Amal said and Habiba nodded.

Habiba bathed Amal and herself and after that. They both left to make samosa.

Amar on the other hand was fast asleep for he was extremely tired from the yesterday's wedding event that came with a whole lot of drama and planning.
