Elizabeth was woken up by the sound of the chirping birds.Still half-awake and half-asleep,she slowly opened her eyes.

She realized that it was already morning because tho ke sunlight has lightened up the whole room already. She decided to get up and gathered all her thoughts.

She remembered what happened at the Gala Night of her musical, "This is Me,Elizabeth." The final curtain call was a huge success,and she was overwhelmed with emotions as the audience gave her a standing ovation and warm applause. Everybody involved in the play was in high spirits,and hey were all excited to go to the after party.

She can't wait to see and dance the night away with Gale,and oh,she has to give back the blue sapphire necklace...

Her hand quickly touched her neck and she heaved a sigh of relief when she realized that she's still wearing the necklace. She can't afford to lose this precious memento of Elizabeth Montecarlo...

But wait,why didn't she give the necklace back to Gale?

She moaned inwardly when she finally remembered what happened last night. It may sound bizarre to her,but she entered an entirely different kind of time.She can't really exactly say what year it is,but the people she met and talked to last night was wearing a type of clothing that was similar with the movie that she recently watched which was "Now,Voyager" starring Bette Davis, Paul Henreid, and Claude Rains. And the vibe that she felt from those people was very---1940's?

Was it all just a dream? Or did she really---?

Her thoughts suddenly stopped in a halt when she heard someone knocking at the door. She wondered who could it be. Maybe it's Gale! Maybe she was just dreaming afterall!

She quickly jumped out from her bed and opened the door while feeling anxious. But her heart sunk when she saw a Bellhop boy garbed in a uniform that screamed 1940s fashion.

"Good Morning,Ma'am. Mr Walter Hayes specifically instructed me to knock at your door at 8 am sharp and he told me to give you these..." the bellhop stated,as he was giving her a letter and a newspaper.

"Wait,who's this Walter Hayes?" she asked,while looking confused.The names sounds strangely familiar,but she can't quite put her finger on it

The bellhop looked taken back by her question,but he still managed to answer.

"Uh,based on the society papers,Mr Walter Hayes is your fiancé."

Serena's eyes widened in shock when she heard the bellhop's reply.

"I'm sorry,what? I don't have a fiancé! I don't even have a boyfriend to begin with!"

The bellhop suddenly looked concerned.

"Miss Montecarlo,are you alright?Do you want me to call a doctor for you?"

"Wait,what did you call me?"

"Uh,Miss Montecarlo?"

Serena closed her eyes and counted one to ten to calm herself. Once she was able to calm herself a bit,she opened her eyes again and looked at the bellhop.

"Okay,what's my full name?" she asked again

The bellhop is now looking at her as if she was crazy. Well,she's about to get crazy with all the weird things that's been happening around her!

"You're the famous musical actress,Miss Elizabeth Montecarlo."

Serena felt like her soul have left her body. But she still has to have a presence of mind.She needs to be alone first and think deeply. She snatched the letter and the newspaper from the bellhop,quickly thanked him,and closed the door.

She has to get her mind straight eventhough she feels like she's about to lose her mind.Her legs suddenly felt weak,so she decided to go take a sit to the nearest couch.
