When they departed,Carrie’s mind was in a whirl.It just happened too many things all together recently and she couldn’t deal with them at the same time.Eric’s confession was making things even more complicated.She went back home and took a hot bath,in the bathroom filling with mist, Carrie was trying to relax in the tub and she started to pray ,tomorrow is a new start.

Thin sunshine slides into the attic and shone on her face,making the freckles dance like sparks.She squinted outside the attic and her eyelash trembled.’It’s another day of sun!’As usual,she still tried to make the best of it and live it up.

When she opened her phone,she surprisingly found out those vicious comments on her social network account was gone.She rose up from her bed abruptly and hit her head again.Carrie rubbed her head,and washed up in a haste,grabbed her breakfast and went to school,she couldn’t wait to tell Judith about it.

The crowd was being pushed away,Eric pulled her out from Celtic.His deep-blue eyes were staring straight to Celtic.Carrie rested on his chest,was feeling the warmth.’Are you OK?’’Yes.’Carrie’s voice was so small that he barely can hear.She could feel he was staring at her with tenderness and affection,expressing the temptation she couldn’t resist.

Celtic wasn’t angry at all surprisingly under Eric’s attentive stare and he even apologized to Carrie:’Did I hurt you?’Carrie was too afraid to answer him and she didn’t know what’s in his mind.Three of them were in a deadlock with weird awkwardness.At this moment,Judith came over and broke the ice.’What are you guys doing?She spoke with a sweet voice,they didn’t know she was asking what’s going to among three of them or she was asking about Carrie and Eric.

Carrie resumed herself from Eric’s arm and explained to Judith while her face was still red:’Judith,nothing happen between us,you...Don’t get me wrong.’Her voice was getting weaker and seems like she was babbling to herself.Judith didn’t care about what Carrie just said,she just bite her lips and flirted with him:’Hi,Eric.’

Eric ignored her flirtation with a poker face,and he couldn’t take his eyes off Carrie.Judith felt snubbed and smiled awkwardly and saw Celtic was still standing there,she indicated him to leave with an expression.Celtic went away with the flower in his hand.The crowd was leaving as well.Carrie had subtle feelings and flipped,she scared she would give it away with Eric’s tenderness,so this time Carrie escaped.

Judith was being pulling away her,and almost fell herself.Carrie was running away with Judith while she was apologizing to her.Finally,there was a peaceful place,she was out of breathe and gasping for air.

‘Carrie,you and Eric?’

‘Nothing happened between us.’

‘Come on,I saw it,that’s nice.’Judith was teasing at her.

Carrie blushed with shyness.

‘Carrie,but ,how about Celtic?’

‘We’ve already broke up,Judith,don’t mention him.’Carrie really didn’t want to have anything to do with him.

‘Alright,alright,alright,he was off-limited.Tomorrow is our best friend party,do you wanna ask Eric to come?’

‘I’ll try,actually we didn’t even exchange numbers.’

‘Don’t lie to me!’They were laughing at each other and walked out of school,meanwhile Judith always sneaked her phone.Carrie realized she had something else to do,so they went part.

When Judith saw Carrie went away,she took out her phone and had a message on it:’Stick to the plan.’

Carrie found Eric’s social network account,and tried to send an invitation to him,she worried Eric whether would answer her back or not,because she started to have feelings to him and expecting they could be friends.

She didn’t expected Eric answered her so quickly and said yes to her invitation.Carrie was happy.She went to the party with him as agreed,but she didn’t a conspiracy was on the way.

Eric drove to her house and picked her up.Eric was still sharp and handsome,his blue eyes were still as charming as ever and Carrie couldn’t look at him,she hurled up to rub her discolored skirt.

‘You look gorgeous today.’Eric expressed his affection to her without stint his compliments.She smiled shyly,and they went to the Mandy Bar.

Under the bar’s ambiguous and dim light,men and women were hooking up with each other and set free all of their desires and fantasies without holding back.Eric and Carrie walked in the pub together,Judith saw them walk in and tried to hold Eric’s hand.But Eric calmly brushed his clothes and avoided her hand.Carrie didn’t notice that,she still amiably walked with her hand in hand.Judith paused a little bit and and caught her,walking into the room like nothing happened.

Carrie noticed Celtic was there,sitting on the couch,as she walked inside.She was confused and looked to Judith,but Judith quipped with a wink and whispered in her ears:”Celtic told me he was gonna give you a surprise,why don’t you just give him a chance?”Therefore,she set them up and she went away with Eric.Instead,Celtic was not only very nice to her,but also blocking wine for her. Carrie was puzzled by his attention,what was he trying to do?She was distracted and didn’t notice Celtic was giving her the wine.She missed it and the glass of wine fell on the ground.The broken glass scattered around,she tried to bend down and pick it up,but her finger was cut,she retreated with pain.Then Celtic held her hand and puff the wound.Carrie was frozen,she didn’t even forget to avoid it.”The wound has to be dressed immediately,or it would leave a scar.”Celtic said it with tenderness.

Carrie was distracted and nodded,and she was kind of hoping it was Eric found it out and told her this.But the only thing she saw was his back and Judith was leaning on his shoulder,whispering something in his ears and laughing out loud.Judith seemed like realizing Carrie was looking at them,she winked at her,acting like he was hers.Carrie was so upset that she just let Celtic took her out of the room.He took her to a quiet place and cleaned up the wound for her,he did it in a tender and slow manner.The medicinal liquid was cold and his other hand causally touched her waist,and started to tease her.Carrie wanted to reject,but somehow unwillingly being silent.

Eric looked around and realized Carrie wasn’t in the room,he started to looked for her.And then he saw Celtic was holding Carrie’s waist frivolously.His ocean-blue eyes sparkled with coldness instantly,then he went back to room without saying anything.While Judith was holding a cup sat right next to him,leaning on his shoulder causally and this time Eric didn’t avoid her.And that encouraged Judith,she put her whole body on his shoulder and flirted with him.

Carrie went back to the room with Celtic,and Judith was very happy they got back together. Carrie tried to explain,but Judith ignored her.Eric drank one after another ,he got drunk and became unconscious.Eric stood up and walked to Carrie, the strong smell of wine blown on her face,she tried to hold him,but she could not bear the weight.She failed to stand straight and fell on the couch.”You are drunk,Eric.””Yes,so would you like to drive me home?”Eric was hugging her and begging her like a child.Carrie tried her best to straighten him up. Judith came over and helped her.Carrie said goodbye to her and told her she had to drive him home.Judith saw she was struggling ,so she helped her out,but still too difficult to carry him.”Oh,I almost forgot,there is a guest room upstairs,why not just take him up there?”Judith said to Carrie.

Judith took Eric upstairs leaving Carrie behind,and Carrie just followed up.The guest room in the bar was a maze,it took them some time and strength to carry him.When they entered the room,Carrie surprisingly found out the glass bathroom and the erotic pictures on the wall,and her face turned red,was it a sex room ?

Eric laid on the bed and Carrie was freaking out,and had no idea what to do.Were she supposed to take him to the bath,no,no,stop it,she wiped out the horrible idea out of her head.

Carrie’s phone suddenly rang,it was Celtic,his voice was anxious:”Help me,Carrie,please.”As if Judith knew something happened to her,and she told Carrie:”I’ll handle it.”And pushed Carrie out of the room.She knocked but Judith told her nothing need to be worried.So Carrie left and went to find Celtic.Celtic was holding the glass and grinned :”What am I supposed to do without you,Carrie?”

The next morning,Carrie received Eric’s message questioning her why didn’t send him home.She apologized to him,but Eric didn’t reply.Carrie wanted to say sorry to him face to face,so she bought a cupcake as gift.On her way,she met Judith.Judith saw her cupcake and begged:”Come on,Carrie,I am so hungry,they looks like delicious.”She looked like a rabbit without getting carrots and her eyes filled with grievances.Carrie was soft,and just gave her the cupcake.

Judith and Carrie sat on school’s bench with a cake in her hand,while she was eating,she was looking around as well.Carrie asked her what’s going on,Judith secretly laughing and said :”I am gonna tell you a secret and you have to promise me you wouldn’t tell anyone else.”

“What secret?”Carrie was so curious.

“I had sex with Eric.”

“What?”

“Sh!You’d better keep your voice down!”Judith put her finger on Carrie’s to ask her to be quiet,as if she was afraid to be found out by someone else.

“You and him!You and him!”Of course,she was just a joke to him,and the only reason he got close to her was playing jokes around her,someone so perfect and handsome like him would never laid an eye on her.

Eric found Carrie and he wanted her to explain why she abandoned him.But when Carrie saw him,all she could think about was he and Judith had sex.She hated to be the joke,so she trotted out an excuse and left.Eric was angry and clenched tightly.Judith came up and said:”Eric,don’t be mad,she and Celtic are going to the cinema.”

When Eric heard that,he was much angrier than ever,but Judith was scared,instead she was leaning closer to him.”Shall we go to see a movie as well?”Judith prepared herself to be rejected ,but Eric didn’t refuse her unexpectedly.Therefore,she held his arm happily and went away.Carrie has hiding behind the tree and saw everything.
