Carrie sat beside the lake alone,she was too upset to admired the moon.Suddenly she rang and she pulled herself from it ,it was Celtic asking her to see a movie.Carrie wanted to refuse,but he kept begging her.So she told him where she was and waited for him.

Celtic looked like very happy when they met and he took her to the cinema.She was perplexed in mind. Really?Eric and Judith? They were a couple now?She was so upset that she didn’t know what kind of movie Celtic bought.He went back to her and said:”The latest movie had sold out,let’s rent a movie.”

“What?”Carrie was kind of resisted when she heard that.

“Relaxed,I promised I wouldn’t do anything to you.”He promised to her.

“Really?”Carrie still couldn’t believe it.

“I promised,you can rest assure,but we could rent some movie to cheer up.”Celtic’s eye brighten up.

“What?I lost you.”Carrie didn’t hear what he was talking about and kept asking him.Celtic just laughed and promised he would never touch her inappropriately.

Carrie had no idea what was going on,but she was being pushed into his car.Celtic drove to the same motel,Carrie panicked and wanted to talk to him.But now Celtic was completely different.He was tearing her and pushing her into a room.Carrie wanted to fight against him and shouted at him,but he remained the same,and put the movie he just rent into the projector.It was porn.Carrie felt like being humiliated and fighting even harder,but Celtic acted like he prepared for this and he just ignored it,whispering to her:”I promised I wouldn’t laid a finger on you,but I didn’t say somebody else wouldn’t.””Jerk,what are you talking about?”Carrie didn’t know what he was talking about.

Carrie fought crazily,but her head was getting dizzy and her eye started to drift,and her body started to feel hot and crave for something.The sound from the porn kept stimulating her and then she lost her conscious.Before she lost it,she reached out to the phone on the table and dialed it,she was praying somebody could pick up,then came through the sound of female telephone tone,she was disappointed and loosing her awareness.

“Who was that?”

“I would take you to the hospital.”

“No,I don’t want to,there is a motel over there,why don’t you just take me there?”Even though he felt it weird,but Judith asked for desperately and he had no choice but to go.

After they checked in,Judith ran into the bathroom immediately as she walked inside.Eric was embarrassed because the glass bathroom was transparent.Eric wanted to go home first,but Judith looked out from the door,said she felt dizzy and acting like falling down.Eric came over and held her,but she splashed water on him.His shirt was wet and his body was so perfect like an ancient Greek statue.Judith fell into him and buried herself into his arms,indulging his fresh peppermint smell.She was apologizing while peeping at him.Judith asked him to stay,Eric was helpless and didn’t want to blame her for this,so he promised her to stay,but he would only stand in front of the bathroom.He closed the door right away,leaving her alone inside.

Eric faintly heard Carrie’s sound,was she around?Eric laughed at himself,what was he thinking?She got back together with Celtic,already. But he could still hear the groaning of the coupling pair incessantly from next door,Eric was shocked,he suddenly understood what was Judith’s mind.The groaning sounded like they were having their time of their life,however,Eric had no idea Carrie was waiting there in despair.

A fat,bold man was knocking next room’s door, then the door creaked and opened a little, then the fat man came in. What?The guy opened the door looked like Celtic,was Carrie inside for real?Eric was curious.

Eric was curious what was happening next door,he walked close and couldn’t hear what they said.

“Celtic...”

“Don’t you dare to spoil my mood!”Celtic was a little bit scared of him and he ran away as soon as possible.

The fat man came inside the room and saw Carrie lying on bed,her body was scarlet.He laughed dirtily and touched her body with his oily,fat hand.Carrie was desperate and she felt the coldness from the touch,she knew she was loosing her grip,but she still was in want of the touch.Even though she was in despair,but she still asked for help.Eric thought it was just flirtations between couples,but when he thought about Celtic’s word,he had a second thought.So he knocked on next door,the fat man inside was irritated because of that and cursing,and he reluctantly opened the door. As the door was open,Eric saw Carrie lying on the bed with clothes torn apart.He pushed the door and the fat man didn’t expect that,fell on the ground.He still managed to fight with Eric,but he was frightened by Eric’s fury and remained quiet.Eric threw his clothes outside and said:”Do you want me to punch you in the face or fuck off?”

Carrie felt his familiar peppermint smell when Eric was beside the bed.She lost her grip and reached out for Eric.When she felt the coldness on his body,she felt relieved and comfortable and buried herself into his arms,holding him tightly and touching him eagerly. Carrie freaked out as well,and hurried to help him to stop bleeding.But Eric stopped her,holding his head while covering his eyes,she was confused about what he did.Eric said :”I am a man,and I guess you should get dressed or I will lose control.”

Carrie suddenly realized what he was talking about and felt ashamed, she jumped up from the floor and said:”Sorry,close your eye,then.”

Eric has cleaned and wrapped up his wound with gauze.She got dressed and looked at him nervously.When she thought about what happened tonight she was both scared and excited.Eric told her:”Come on,I drove you home.”

“OK!”Carrie followed him obediently.

The light of street lamp was dim and dizzy,showering on their faces ,Carrie was a little bit embarrassed,looking down and said:”Thank you again.”

Eric smiled sweetly and his ocean-blue eye filled with tenderness and affections,he said to her:”You had to take care of yourself,don’t make me worried about you all the time.”

“I will.”Carrie mumbled and ran into the house quickly.

In the house,there was a girl standing behind the curtain,her silhouette was on the floor and she saw everything from the window.She was angry and clenching her teeth:”Huh!”As Carrie walked in the house,she did not want to wake up people inside,so she crept in quietly.The house was pitch dark,she lost her sight of it,all of a sudden,she was being pushed by someone,and she fell onto the chair that was not supposed to be there very badly.She hit right on the chair in her face,and her snow-white face had a bleeding scar.Carrie was in great pain,but she was too afraid to speak up out loud,and she heard the familiar giggle from her back,it was Lisa.

“Someone was having a pipe dream,and had idea what she looked like.”

“It was you! It was you all the time!Why did you have to do something horrible like this ?

“I am loving it,and you could do nothing to me,if you shouted at me,my mom was going to wake up and slapped you in the face,and you are not going to like what happened next.”Lisa was so arrogant and threatening her without scruple.Carrie understood her situation and she did not want to wake up her aunt absolutely,because that was completely putting her finger in the fire.In the end,Carrie went to find the medical box to clean up the wound alone and quietly,and went back to the attic without making a noise.However,Lisa did not want to let her get away with this too easily,therefore she climbed up to the attic and knocking on the door loudly.Carrie held herself together and tried to stay calm while the attic was trembling,and the dust from the roof falling down and laid on her face,her body and her bed.Maybe Lisa was tired,in the end she went away.Carrie lied on the floor in despair,leaning against the door,sobbing. Every single day was so hard,in what time she could fly away from here for real and having the life she dreamed of.

“Dad,Mom,oh my god,I missed you guys so,so much.I could not hold this any more.”Carrie was full of tears in her eyes,faced the moon and crying.

Carrie opened her phone,and it was Eric’s message:”Happy birthday,Carrie!”

At that time ,she remembered today was her 19th birthday.She buried her face in her arms,let the tears dry on her clothes and wrote :”Thank you so much,Eric”.At the end of her birthday,she received the most precious greetings from him,she was so happy and wished this moment could last forever.

Carrie was too exhausted and she fell asleep with the phone in her hand,she was kind of forgetting to text him back.She was upset how could she forget it.At that moment,Eric just sent a message to her right away,asking her if she would like to have a drink with him at coffee shop.Carrie replied yes without any hesitation.Carrie left home in a hurry,joy leaped in her heart for it and she was figuring they could finally sit down and have a good conversation with each other. She was looking forward for it and her heart was racing.
