Two weeks later
My phone ringing tone woke me up on Sunday morning and I sluggishly picked it up without checking the caller. I thought it was Jason.
"Hello" Judith said alarmedly
"Hey Judith" I said sleepily
"Have you seen this morning news?"
I opened my eyes and slowly sat up on the bed "No" I yawned "I'm just waking up. What is it about?"
"I will send you a link now. Go and check it out"
"Okay"
She sent me a link about two seconds later and I wondered what was going on. I clicked on the link and saw Jason, my own Jason kissing a woman ferociously on my screen.
"Aaah" I gasped and covered my mouth with my hand. "Jason" I cried "Why!"
 The fifteen seconds video was titled "Caught on camera: Three months after Jason's Stokes multi-million wedding to his secretary, Lexi Tyler, he was caught cheating on his wife with an unknown girl" I clicked on the video again and watched it for the second time with a shaky hand. 
I threw my phone at the wall and screamed.
Someone knocked on the door, I knew it was Maxwell's nanny but I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone but Jason. So, I didn't reply her.
I got out of my bed and walked to where my phone was. I picked it up and called Jason's number. Unreachable
"Of course" I murmured before walking out of our room
"Good morning ma'am" Maxwell nanny said but I ignored her and turned on the television. Ten minutes later, the same fifteen seconds video was shown on the news and I tried not to cry in front of the nanny who shouted and looked away from the screen when she saw Jason
My phone rang, it was Jason's father and I picked it up
"Hello sir" I said 
"Good morning. Have you seen the news?"
"I still don't want to believe it" I said while shaking my head
"What was his excuse for destroying our reputation...the company's name? Is he with you there? I've been trying to contact him for some minutes now but his phone is not reachable"
"No, he is not here with me" I replied "He left home on Friday for a seminar and he is supposed to be back today" I sobbed
"Give me the phone" his mom said in the background "Lexi" she called worriedly "Sweetheart, how are you feeling?"
"Bad! mom! Bad!" I cried
Few months ago while I and Jason's mom were talking, I had mistakenly used 'mom' for her and I expected her to mad at me but instead of her being mad at me, she had hugged me and told me that she really liked it
"Should I come over? Have you taken anything this morning or should I get you something on my way there?"
"I don't know. What I want now is Jason. I want him to come and explain himself"
His mom sighed
"This is not the first time that he would do something like this to me" I cried
"WHAT!"
"But then, he denied it and I believed him. This time around, I'm wondering what his excuse is going to be"
"I'm sorry to hear that"
"Thank you. I will call you once he is here"
"Okay" 
I hung up the phone and stared at the wall clock in the sitting room until I heard the sound of his car at the carpark. I got out of my seat, told Maxwell's nanny to leave and stood in front of the elevator. There was going to be a very big fight in our house this afternoon
"Hey wifey" he said with a beautiful smile when he stepped out of the elevator and tried to hug me. I jumped out of his reach and he looked at my angry face "Ooooh...wifey missed me too much to the extent that she is angry at me
"Why is your phone turned off?" I asked coldly
"Oh that? Earlier this morning, my phone shutdown and I forgot to pack my charger on Friday. Is that the reason why you're angry at me. Come and give me a welcome back kiss. I missed you"
I tried not to cry but I couldn't stop myself when the tears started rolling down my cheeks. My Jason was no longer my Jason because the Jason that I knew wouldn't cheat on me and still look me straight in the eyes
"Why are you crying Lexi?" He asked and put down his suitcase
"Where were you last night?"
He looked at me confusedly "At the hotel" he replied
"Were you alone or with somebody?"
"Of course alone. I called you last night and told you that I was missing you"
"And you couldn't wait? You couldn't wait to get home?"
"What are you talking about?" He asked
"I'm talking about this!" I said angrily and threw my phone at him "The first time you cheated on me, you said it was a lie! You said it was a set up! You said you didn't do it! And I believed you..."
"Wait! What!" Jason said when he watched the video
"Stop acting shocked!"
"I don't know what is going on here"
"Of course, you don't" I said sarcastically and headed to the bedroom
"I don't even know who this girl is" he said and followed me
"Because not knowing her name makes it more fun"
"Lexi, believe me. I didn't do this. The last time that I had a one night stand was the night that I met you"
"I'm not blind Jason! I'm not! I was the one who packed your suitcase and I remembered packing that t-shirt"
"I swear I didn't do this" he said and I gave him the 'stop fucking with me' look "Yeah, I get it. I am the one in the video but I don't know anything about this"
"It's better you come clean Jason"
"Lexi believe me"
"It's better you come clean or I'm filing for a divorce!"
"God! Lexi! I have no idea when this happened. It must be in the past maybe before I met you"
"What about the t-shirt?"
"Lexi!"
"Stop 'lexing' me! You're cheating on me!"
 "I'm not"
"Of course, you are"
"I'm not"
"Prove it!"
He sighed and shrugged "I will"
"Fine. Dad called"
"Okay. Can I use your phone to call him back?"
"You can do whatsoever you want to do with it and newsflash, you are all over the news" I said and headed to the  bathroom
