Chapter 6: We Don't Hate You

"Hi" She smiled.

"Hi."

"I know what you think, but trust me, I think you're gorgeous and I like you."

"But.. because there's always a but." I sighed.

"Well, for one. I'm eighteen and in college. And second, my parents hate the LGBTQ, people."

"I will be eighteen in December. And age is nothing but a number, and two, your parents are tools. Are you going to listen to them or go after what makes you happy?" I asked with crossed arms.

"They are major tools." She chuckled. "But you're seventeen, wouldn't I get in trouble?"

"Woman, you worry too much." I said causing her to laugh. "So, are you finally gonna say yes and hang out with me." I asked.

"I have classes now, but here." She said while giving me a piece of paper. I opened it and it was a phone number.

"It's a start, I hope it's not a fake number."

I skated for a bit then went home. I was met by my puppy, I named her Snow.

"At least someone is happy to see me." I said while picking her up.

"Blue, you know we don't hate you, we love you." Dad said.

"I could never hate my daughters, no matter what they've done. We love you." Mom said.

"Blue, we love you. We know we're on your back more than Autumn, but that's only because you." Dad said while pulling me into a big hug. "Are our little troublemaker."

I chuckled as tears fell.

"Will you please promise us no more fighting, and that when things get heavy, you will talk to us first." Mom said while wiping my tears.

"I promise." I sobbed. They both gave me a big bear hug.

"I love you both."

"And we love you more, princess." Dad said.

This was much needed. I've missed them these days.

...........

I finally returned to school, I went to my locker and was met by Fede and Chelsea, they were holding hands.

"Your best friend stole mine." Autumn said in a teasing way.

"I know, if you two forget about us, I'll wrestle you both." I said while raising an eyebrow.

"Don't worry, I could never forget my best friend." Fede said while hugging me.

"Don't worry Chelsea, I'm not into him." She chuckled.

"And I could never forget about you." Chelsea hugged Autumn.

"Good." She smiled.

"Damn, how much I wish I could punch those stupid smiles." I said while looking at Stevan and his girlfriend."

"They're not worth it." Autumn said.

"You're right." I sighed.

"Can I use your phone, I want to call Jade." I said to Autumn, she handed me her phone.

"Hey, it's Blue."

"Hey, Blue. How are you?"

"I'm better, things got better at home with my parents." I smiled.

"Well that's good, so when do you want to hang out?"

"How does Saturday sounds?" I asked.

"Sounds perfect. Can't wait."

"I'll pick you up, just send me your address here." I said.

"Uhm, how about we meet there, send me the address. I have to go, I'll be waiting." She said before hanging up.

If she even thinks about doing the same thing it was done to Auty, she has another thing coming her way. But she doesn't strike me as that type of person. Guess Saturday will confirm it.

"Here, Auty." I gave her phone back.

"How did it go?"

"We're going out on Saturday." I smiled.

"That's good, at least one has a nice date." She gave me a faint smile.

"It will happen for you, maybe when a certain someone returns from their exchange year." I said while teasing her, she blushed.

"I doubt it, I tried talking to him, but he ended up saying he was busy. I think it's because I had braces and wore glasses." She sighed.

"Well, even then, You were beautiful sis. When he sees you again, he will drool." I said while flipping her hair. She laughed.

After school we went home, I went to do some homework, after that I fell asleep.

--Jade--

I was excited to hang out with Blue, there was something about her. I couldn't wait for Saturday.

"Hey, big sis."

"Hey little sister."

"You like her don't you?" She said while sitting next to me.

"I do, but our parents would never understand it." I sighed.

"So, this is your life, who cares. If she can put that smile on your face, then go for it."

"I will, I do like her. She doesn't take shit from anyone and has a big heart." I smiled.

"Woo-hoo." Lyanda said excited.

--Blue--

I woke up from my nap and next to me was my phone. Awesome, now I can text Jade.

Me:

Hey, it's Blue. Finally got my phone back, can't wait for Saturday.

Jade:

Same, looking forward to hang out with you.

Hopefully everything goes smooth on Saturday. I couldn't wait.
