Chapter 7: Hanging Out

Saturday day came, and I was excited, to hang with Jade. I was meeting her at the same bakery autumn had her date.

I went inside and saw her. I made my way there and sat across her.

"Hey, you look beautiful." I smiled.

"Thank you, you look beautiful yourself." She blushed.

"What can I get you two ladies?"

"Red velvet and coffee." I said.

"Same for me."

"Alright." He said before leaving.

"So, tell me about yourself." I asked.

"Well, I have tool parents. And a loving sister who loves to skate. I'm also studying to become an English teacher. Your turn, Blue." She said as the waiter came and placed our orders.

"Well, I'm a tomboy, and I like this gorgeous girl who's sitting across me." I winked at her, she blushed again. "You blushing is cute."

"Can't help it, I'm not used to someone saying stuff like that." She said while covering her cheeks.

"So, I'm the first girl you like?"

"I mean, I've always been attracted to girls, but you're the only one that has caught my attention." She smiled.

"I feel so special." I grinned.

We finished eating our cake and made our way out, it was a beautiful day so we just walked around the city, no holding hands of course.

"So, was it difficult coming out to your family?"

"Well, I didn't had to tell them, see I was in the living room hanging out with this girl I liked, I thought my parents were out. But turns out they were just napping, dad came out in the middle of my make out session. And he let me tell my family I was attracted to girls. They understood and said to be who I am and not hide it. My twin supported me one hundred percent too."

"You're lucky. Only my sister knows I'm gay, my parents would kill me if I come out." She sighed.

"Well, you're eighteen and in college, what they say don't matter."

"I know, but they're paying for my career. And I want to graduate."

"Well, my house is always there for you when things get a bit rough at your house." I said while grabbing her hand.

"Thanks." She gave me a kiss on my cheek, I smiled. "I hope you're patient with me, my situation is different."

"You're worth the wait, Jade." I returned the kiss on her cheek, she blushed again, I chuckled.

We walked around getting to know more about each other. I really like her. I jumped on her back and she actually caught me.

"My personal little monkey." She said making me laugh.

After spending the whole day together, we walked back to our cars and said goodbye. Once I made it home I had this cheesy smile on my face.

"I take it the date went well?" Dad said.

"It was just hanging out, but it went great, I really like this girl." I smiled.

"That's good, princess." He hugged me.

"Where's mom and Auty?"

"Shopping."

"Eww." I said causing dad to laugh.

........

It's been a month since that day, we've been hanging out everyday, she goes to the park to watch me skate.

I enjoy having her here, and today I was gonna teach her how to skate.

"And you're ready." I said as she gave me a look. "Don't worry you won't fall, I think."

"Blue Ambrose, if I fall-"

"I'll catch you." I winked. I watched her blush, that little phrase had another meaning and I think she knew it. "Welcome to my world, bright eyes." I said while interlacing our fingers. Perfect fit. She smiled.

I skated with her for a while then I pulled away and showed her how to skate alone. I wrapped my arms around her waist, wasn't part of the training, I just wanted to feel her body, she had curves in the right places. This girl was driving me insane.

After showing her how to skate a little, we took a break and went to sit on the bench.

"How come no one here called us any name, seeing as how close we were." She asked.

"Well, no one here judges you, we support everyone here. That's why I come here, it's my escape place." I said as she nodded.

"That's cool, people should judge less." She said.

"I agree with you, bright eyes."

"Bright eyes?"

"Yes, cause you have beautiful bright eyes." I said while caressing her face, she just closed her eyes and enjoyed the moment. "I really, really like you, Jade." I said as I rested my forehead against her forehead.

"I like you too, a lot. And it scares me." She sighed.

"Why?"

"Because my parents would never allow this."

"I know, and I promise to be patient, but I don't want to be a secret." I said while grabbing her hand.

"And you won't be, just bare with me please." She said while lowering her face.

"Of course." I lifted her face and then I kissed her cheek.

I really hope her parents support her when she comes out to them. No one should hide who they are.
