Erico Mason's point of view:

I have a heavy heart when I left Lexi in Paris.

I know she's been into so much pain after losing her baby.But Im also relieved that her parents are there to comfort her.

Her mother convince me to go on and help my dad with our business.And as her mom she will stay beside her daughter until she gets through it.She assured me that Lexi is a strong independent woman.That I should not worry about her too much.Knowing how strong she was,and hoping that she can easily cope up with that phase of her life.I left her.

When I went home,I keep myself busy from learning and exploring new ideas for the benefit of our company.I still stay in touch with Lexi,but everytime she tells me how much she loved me,I can no longer feel my heart responds the way it used to be.

The years easily passed and it takes me to where I am now.I can say that my father's main lesson for me was very crucial.

"Its not just about the business.Its also about the people."

These where hes words before I walk out from hes office door as the new vice president of our company.

When I went to my office that sameday I notice a young woman standing infront of my office .She was holding a small mirror infront of her and when she put it down I clearly saw a young innocent face.

Her big round eyes that has so much to say.

Her small yet sharp nose with a tiny dot on top of it,

her thin moist red lips that seems so inviting to kiss

and her voice...

Its like a lullaby to my ears.

She greeted me and introduced herself but I get stunned from her beauty that I dont even know how to respond.

So I just walk out and went inside my office.

I can still feel her presence and when I turn around she was infront of my desk smiling sweetly,telling me something that I did not understand.For I was so busy reading her lips,wondering how does it feel if I kiss it.

Finally I told her to just leave,trying to snap out of it.

Months have passed.She's still consistent of wearing her sweet smile whenever he sees me.Sometimes I secretly look at her with my office window blinds only to caught myself from smiling.I was used to be greeted by her every morning which lighten up my mood.I hate it when an opposite sex was trying to approach her at the office.If only I could easily fire them right away.Just to get rid of them.And when she came rushing in our house wearing her gym clothes early in the morning.

I admitted to myself, I am attracted to her.

Tuesday morning,I prepared a meal for her.I know its not much but it was my way of thanking her for doing some errand for me last sunday.I even practiced some few lines when I'll give it to her but I didnt find my courage.So I just ask her out for lunch instead.

That was just an hour break but I had so much fun spending it with

It was 8:21pm when I check my wristwatch.I almost forgot about Lexi's arrival.I had to fetch her from the airport and I am almost late.I immediately close my laptop and put on my suit.I was about to call Lexi when I saw my secretary from her desk.I told her to go home but she easily get startled and told me silly things that really flatters me.I honestly understand what she says.But I really just wanted to hear it from her.Yes,the meaning of those words were really different, specially when it comes from her.

I used to have a Filipina nanny when I was six years old.With my curiosity I asked her to teach me their language.But I didnt know that it can be this useful when you have a filipina secretary.I smirked as I remember what she told me a while ago.

"Type nga kita eh!Sarap mong jowain!"These where the lines that really catches my attention and keep echoing in my head.

Did she really mean it?I asked myself.

I can feel my heart fastly beating as I walk near her.

I can smell her fragrance and easily get drunk by its sweetness.

Our skin almost kiss that it takes my breath away.

I was about to whisper something to her when Lexi came and called my name.I wanted to cursed when she interrupted us from that moment.

I knew that Lexi didnt like the scene that she saw when she came at my office.I look at her eyes and saw the hatred and suspicion she has for my my secretary.When I glanced at Faith I feel so sorry for putting her in that awkward situation.

After that incident I accompanied Lexi at her hotel room.When I tried to walk away she grabbed me inside her room,she aggressively hug and kiss me,I know she was trying to turn me on and she succeeded.What can I say,Im only a man...and she's good at it.

I get up from bed after doing it with Lexi.I feel so guilty about doing it with her.I know she's my fiance and we did it many times back in Paris. But I still feel so guilty.It feels like I betrayed someone.

A picture of my secretary flash into my mind when I saw Lexi lying in bed.She exposed her thighs but I still put my shirt on.

I know it isn't the right time.But it's now or never.No more pretending.I gather all my courage and release a heavy sigh as I told her to just stop and end whatever arrangements we have.That its for the best.

But I know it wont be that easy for her.I left her again.These time with a broken heart.

"Woah!Look who's hear,Long time no see!" Miller exclaimed when he saw Erico.

Erico drives straight to the bar after he left Lexi at the hotel.

He needs an alcohol and a friend.

"Hey!I thought you already forgot about us bro!"Kurt also said as he signal the waiter for another shot.

"I can forget about you,but I cant forget about this place."Erico simply answered.

"Ouch!"Kurt over react.

"Yeah!This is the place where we first met.The place where you got stub by those jerks instead of me!

I thank the Gods for that day,because finally they sent me a sane friend named Erico." Miller remembered.

"Yep!That was the night I came back from Paris.

I went straight at this place after dropping my things in our house.I still remember the look on Kurt's face while wiping the blood from his broken nose?"Erico tried to laugh while reminiscing the past.

"Hey!stop it bro! I dont wanna remember that part!"Kurt protest.

"Spit it out!"Miller seriously told Erico.

"I ended it."He shortly replied.

Miller pat his shoulder."You finally did it!"

"How do you feel?"Kurt asked.

"I feel light.You know the feeling if you have a burden your hiding for the long period of time.

Then suddenly you just let it out!That feeling bro.It feels like Ive been free!

No more pretending.I dont need to lie about my feeling's anymore.

I do not have the obligation to anyone.Im free!"

"What about your parents?"Kurt still asked.

"As for them,well they dont have a choice..

This is my life were talking,I tried myself to put things back but the glass was already broken.

For Lexi and for myself ,I'll be saving us from miserable marriage.

"But she loved you right?"Miller ask also.

"Yah!She does.I just relly hope that she will accept our fate,that way she will easily move on.

For oldtime sake,I wont let her be in a one sided relationship.

"You sure you wont regret it?"Miller reassured.

"My friend!For the past years I thought about it.And now Im so relieved that I made it!"

He put hes glass on the air...

" No more commitments !"He toast.

Erico wake up with a headache feeling nauseous.

He check the time and hurriedly hit the shower as he remember the board meeting he needs to attend that morning.

He was marching to his office when his secretary greets him.

"Good morning sir,Ms Lexi is waiting for you inside."

He stop from walking.

"She's here?What does she want?"He asked.

"Ah,I think she wanted to talk to you sir?"she answered feeling confused.

Erico released a sigh while brushing his hair through he's finger.

"Right.Please bring me my coffee."He told her.

"Yes sir,and by the way we only have twenty five minutes before the board meeting."She reminded.

Erico just nod and goes to his office.

"Lexi,I have a meeting this morning..please-

"Goodmorning too my love!"Lexi stand up from the couch and walk near Erico.

"I thought I made myself clear to you last night."Erico tried to be distant.

"No,mylove!You wont get away with me that easily."She smirked and sit at the corner of hes table.

"Lexi,please...I already told you,Lets stop it.

And I dont have time for these.I have to get ready for the meeting." He pleaded.

"Aww...But I did not agree with it right?"She answered while fixing his suit.

"Lexi...please-"

"Listen to me Erico.I am your fiance.I am still your fiance.And soon I will be your wife.You dont want our parents to get involved with this simple misunderstanding,right?"Lexi smiled sweetly with a threatening tone.

"You dont have to drag them into these.We are grown ups now.I made a decision and that's final!

Lexi I am so sorry but I dont love you anymore.My feelings for you were long gone!How many times do I have to tell you that?!" Erico raised his voice.

"Tsk!You dont get it do you?

With or without your feelings,you are still mine!And that is the fact that you can never change Erico!You are mine!"She proudly answered.

"You dont own me Lexi.You dont own anything from me!Fine! Go ahead and tell your parents!

Or do you want some company to tell them?I'll be glad to do that.

Im tired of all these nonsense.

Im tired of pretending,please just let me be and go on with your life!"

"How can I go on with my life,if you are my life?You are part of it.Without you,how will I'll be able to move on?" Lexi told him with a teary eyes.

"You can do it Lexi.Youre a strong person.I know you can do it." Erico told her.

A knock through the door breaks the tension between them.

"Im sorry sir,here is your coffee.

Ms.Lexi do you want anything?" Faith asked.

Lexi fix her hair and hide her tears.She stand up from the desk and turned her face to her.

"I dont need anything from you. I need some time with man!" She hissed.

"Im sorry!"Faith excused.

"Ms. Gallot,please wait for me outside,I dont wanna be late for the meeting."Erico told her.

"But Erico-"Lexi disagree trying to stop him.

"Lexi,I told you I have a meeting,now if youll excuse me I have more important things to do!"

Erico shut the door and left Lexi at his office.

"Are you alright sir?do you want me to prepare you another coffee?"Faith asked as they walk at the hallway.

"Yes,Im okay..the coffee will do if you please."He replied.

"Okay sir,right away."

"By the way,how do I look?"Erico stop walking trying to fix his clothes.

Faith smiled sweetly,"You look gorgeous sir"

"Do you like it?"Erico meet her eyes.

"Yes,I am!"Faith answered without blinking,trying to fix his ties.

And immediately realized what she's doing.

"Im sorry,I mean,yes sir...you look good!As always!She explained.Trying to release a small laugh.

"Your cute!"Erico chuckled.While Faith bite her lips,feeling shy from her boss's compliment.

A clapping hands of Lexi steal that moment.

"Well,I guess I found the answer for myself!"Lexi said.

"The reason why you have the courage to dumped me!"she added.

Faith was stoned.

"I thought you leaved."Erico asked instead.

"Yes,I was about to...but look,I catch some mices while sneaking in.

The boss and his secretary flirting in the hallway!"

"Its nothing,your just being so malice."Erico defend.

"Maybe...or maybe not!"Lexi said ,throwing a sharp glanced at Faith.

"We better go...the meeting is about to start."Erico told her secretary without looking at his ex.

Faith was about turn her back but Lexi tightly grab her arm.

"Listen to me carefully,you ambitious slut!

Dont mess with my toy.He is mine!You can never have whats mine!"

She whispers and walk away like a supermodel.
