"Hello Mrs. Cruz! Its so nice to see you!" Lexi greeted Erico's mother.Shes in their mansion to pay a visit.

"Hello there future Mrs. Cruz!" A smiling face welcomed her as they exchange their cheek to cheek kisses.

"So how was your flight dear?"Erioc's mom ask her.

"Its quite exhausting, but the thaught of being with Erico makes it go away!" Lexi told her with a sweet smile.

"That's good to hear. You know what I am really excited when you called the other day that you are coming. But I know Erico is way more happier when I told him about it."

"Well, actually about that..." Lexi was supposed to tell her that Erico did not pick her up at the airport but Erico interrupted her.

"Hi Mom!" Erico greets his mother.

"Oh hi son! You're early! Is it because of Lexi? hmn?" Mariotte tease her son.

"I will be in my room,please call me when dinner is ready." Erico answered without looking at Lexi.

Mariotte supposed to call her son but Lexi stop her.

"Please don't! We just had a misunderstanding last night that's why he's acting like that. Dont worry I'll go talk to him. " She smile on Mariotte to assure her.

"What? You just arrived yesterday and you two fight?" The old lady ask in disbelief.

Lexi nod.

"Dont worry about it. Its just his way for me to cling on him even more." Lexi told her with a smile.

Mariotte smiled back and grab Lexi's hands and held it.

"Erico is in a lot of pressure these past few months,specially now that he is the vice president of the company.Please be more understanding Lexi."

"You dont have to worry about it, I understand him. And I love him even more for it. When the right time comes, I know our company is safe with his hands."

"Go on and talk to him. If you need anything I will be right at the kitchen preparing for dinner." Mariotte told her while Lexi just smile and nod as an answer.

Lexi went to Erico's room only to find his scattered clothes on the floor. She can hear the splash of the water from the shower and she went there to check on him. The moist of Erico's warm body occupied the bathroom glass divider but a translucent figure of him lit a fire to Lexi's body. She slowly walks near him and started to unbotton her clothes.

"Stop right there!" Erico interrupt her from coming near him.

"Tsk! Stop it! You're only making yourself uncomfortable! I know you want it!" Lexi teased while giving him a seductive look.

Erico swallowed. "Please put your clothes on. Dont make things complicated. "

"I am Lexi Kim, And why would a Lexi Kim be insecure to a cheap secretary of yours!"

"Exactly! And I know you Erico when you are into someone! How dare you!"

"You take a shower first, they are waiting down stairs." Erico replied instead as he marched out from the bathroom leaving Lexi with an annoyed face.

"How is Paris these days Lexi?" Olivio asked his soon to be daughter in law.

"Still the City of Love and the City of dreams as they say." Lexi answered while slicing a chunk of steak on her plate.

"And how was your flight?" the old man continue.

"Well...as I said earlier to ant Mariotte its really tiring but seeing Erico and sitting beside him all worth it." Lexi smiled and glance at Erico.She secretly holds Erico's thigh below the table and slightly squeeze it.

Erico got startled to what Lexi did and put off his napkin under the table.

"Im done. Please excuse me." Erico walk out from the dining table feeling annoyed.

"What's with him? Olivio asked.

"We just had a small fight,you know..."lovers quarrel"." Lexi produced a genuine laugh.

"Ahh, kids these days...throwing tantrums over small things!" Mariotte sigh.

"Its just his way for me to run after him.Dont worry I will act as he expected." Lexi answered with a full smile.

"Well, its nice seeing you together Lexi.And please dont make my son wait any longer.I want you two to get married and have your own kids.I want to see my grand children...Oh! I am getting old, I already have this fine lines in my face. I won't be able to run after them in another years if you will still postponed it." Mariotte told her.

Lexi smiled sweetly.While enjoying her meal.

"Let them be.They will get married if they are ready.Do not rush them. Besides who says your getting old? You look even younger and more beautiful every day that I see your face,specially when I wake up in the morning! Every line in your face,added a taste to your beauty." Olivio grab the hand of his wife and kiss it.

Mariotte smiled feeling touched.

"I wish Erico will also tell those words to me when we got older!" Lexi told them.

"Dont worry Im sure he will treat you as his queen. He loves you." Mariotte says.

"Speaking of which.I must see him now... I think his waiting for me.Please enjoy. "Lexi excused and went to Erico's direction.

The maid told Lexi that Erico went to the library. He found her fiancé seating at the couch with his eyes close. She silently seat beside and look at him.

Lexi's eyes started to form a water.

God knows how he misses him so much. She longed for him.

She was about to touched his face when Erico speak.

"What do you think you're doing? " He asked.

"touching my man's face!" Lexi answered.

"Im not yours anymore. I already told you about that."

"But your body doesn't seem to agree." Lexi teased him again.

"Stop it Lexi!"

"I dont want to!"

"Please! My body may seem to react on whatever you are trying to do. But that doesn't mean that my feelings for you we're still the same!" Erico plead.

"We just made love a while ago..."Lexi whisper in his ears.

"Its just sex!" Erico started to feel irritated.

Erico felt sorry.He admit,what he did and say wasn't right.

"Im sorry Lexi. But maybe some times we need to hear things that we dont wanna hear, for us to realize that what we had are already gone."

"No! Your just saying that because that secretary of yours seduced you right? You are not in your right mind Erico! You are hurting me and keep on shooing me out of your life because of that bitch! But believe me when I'll tell you this! You are mine! Mine alone! No other bitches can have you!"

"What? My secretary doesn't have anything to do about my decisions! How many times do I have to tell you that! I thought I already made myself clear?" Erico was in disbelief.

"Deny it all you want Erico, I am a woman myself! I know how a bitch act!"

"You are unbelievable Lexi!"

"No! You're the unbelievable! How dare you look at her the way you look at me before? How dare you! Really? with that slut?She's not even half of me. Tsk!"

"How self righteous you turned into Lexi! You're not the Lexi that I used to loved. I dont even know you anymore!" Erico look at his ex full of dismay and walks out from that room.

Erico and Lexi were simply strolling at the street when they pass by a group of girls bullying their schoolmate. They can tell it by the same uniform they wore. Lexi couldn't stop herself from eavesdropping. She heard the girls telling her some dirty words and throwing some curses on her. Erico covered Lexi's ears as he lead the way to where they where supposed to go but Lexi suddenly run.

Erico was shocked from what he witnessed.

She saw Lexi grab and pulled the hair of the bully and slap her face. Anothe girl was about to hold Lexi, but to his surprise Lexi just gave her a flying kick. He knows how he hate violence but this time he cant help himself but to cheer for the girl who makes his heart smitten. At that moment he saw another side of her. This lady never fails to impressed her.

He snap out from that thought when a group of boys about his age came and started to pull Lexi from the girl she was beating. The girl she slap fixed her hair and smiled at Lexi wickedly. She was about to slap Lexi but it was Erico's face who was slapped. Lexi was shocked.

The boys on the otherhand laugh at him. But there laughter that echoed on the street change into whimpers.

Erico beat up the boys while the girls run into different directions.

"Are you alright?" Lexi asked worriedly.

"Im fine, what about you? Are you alright? Where does it hurt?" Erico asked as he checks on Lexi.

"Im alright. But how could you beat those guys? I thought you hate violence. Lexi asked feeling surprised.

"I couldn't stand it. Them hitting you. I wont allow anyone to hurt you. Not even a strand of you hair."

Lexi couldn't find any words.She hugged Erico instead and she suddenly remembered the poor girl who was bullied.

"Hey! You okay?" She asked worriedly.

"Yes! Im sorry for causing you trouble. But you shouldn't have done that. Im sure they will get back at me the moment they have a chance."

"Well, why wouldn't you fight then?" Lexi asked her.

The girl shrugged her shoulders.

"You should not let anybody do that to you. Not now nor ever!" Lexi disagree with the thought.

"Do you know those girls? Why would they treat you like that? I mean they would not do that to you if you did not do anything right?" Erico confusely asked.

Lexi turned her eyes to Erico with unbelievable look. But Erico just move up his shoulders.

"They where my classmate's. They always bully me in or out of the school campus. They want me to do there report but I refused so... they were trying to scare and hit me like they always do." The girl answered.

"I dont get it?! I mean...they can do that to anybody! You're not just there classmate! What's with you that they want?" Erico still asked.

"My Mom used to worked as a prostitute for a living. Shes a mistress. At first they would just simply tells me that I shouldn't go to their school because no matter what I do,I'll still end up like my mom. Then when they learn that I am the top student, they started to come to me, to make me do their project's. At first I agreed but they want more from it that they wanted to cheat from me during exams. I refused and they kept on doing this to me." The girl sobbed.

"You just did the right thing. There is nothing wrong with that. But you should not let them do that to you. Your value doesn't have anything to do with your Mom's way of living. You two are different persons. And...and... its not your fault that your Mom is a... ahmn...

"A slut!A mistress!" The girl said instead.

Erico tapped his head while Lexi, couldn't find anywords.

"She maybe a bitch! But for me shes the best mom." She cried.

"Hush now..do you want us to get you home?"

"Im alright. You've done enough for me... Thank you for today. They might get back to me anytime but you were right, I shouldn't let anybody treat me that way. My mom maybe a bad woman,but shes a good mother to me. Her way of living shouldn't be a hindrance for them to see that. And it shouldn't be the reason to let them hurt me.Thank you for making me realize that now. It took me some time but thank you anyway." The girl tells them heartfully.

"It's nothing actually." Lexi replied.

"Im Netty by the way!"

"Im Lexi,and he is Erico!"

Erico smiled.

"Nice meeting you Lexi! I have to go now. Thank you once again!" Netty told Lexi.

Netty turned to Erico and says her thank you and bid goodbye.

They watch Netty walking the other way when Erico hold Lexi's hands.

Lexi look at Erico but Erico whispered something to Lexi that made her blushed and smile from cheek to cheek.

"You are an amazing person! Im lucky for having you as my future wife!"
