CHAPTER 2

Ian's POV

Little Chloe is all grown up. The first time I met her she was just 14 or 15 years old, Andrew and I were back from college during summer break and I decided not to go back home to California. So we could spend the summer traveling through Europe.

We stayed in his family home in London for about a week before our Europe adventure that was actually the first time I met his family. I actually felt like I'm part of the family because everyone was so welcoming, it was just their dad, Andrew, Chrissy and Chloe but they were such a family so close and together.

That was when I met Chloe— Coco as they called her then, I remember she was such a bratty diva teenager but also with great personality and also intelligent. We didn't hang out, we only hanged together with her a few times, never even exchanged more than a few words.

But now she's all grown up, so beautiful. I can't believe I didn't remember her when I saw her a year ago in Manchester. But seeing her now all I remember is how she melted in my arms when I kissed, how turned on I was so badly when she ran out of my hotel room and how I've lusted over my best friends little sister since that day. Coco she said her name was, how could I not remember her. Back then I remember her family calling her coco.

I was disappointed that day when said she couldn't and ran out of my hotel room. But now knowing she's my best friends little sister I'm glad she left. Then why am I still having sexual thoughts about her.

She's so beautiful, beautiful hazel eyes, long honey colored hair, full pouty lips and an amazing natural tan skin tone probably from the fact that her mother was Italian. The way her red sweater clutched against her skin, outlining her breast and her cleavage made my pants uncomfortably tight. The way she smiled, talked and walked, everything about her is perfection.

And I did worst thing possible. All the penthouse rooms in the hotel were taken because of the holidays so I booked her an adjoining room with my penthouse room in the hotel. Now I'll have to see her every single time but have to avoid her because I can't possibly sleep or have any sexual thoughts about her because if Andrew her brother knew he would kill me.

But also I have to see her because I'm on clear orders from her sister and brother, to hang out with her. They said she been so busy with work, a little too busy that she needed to be off it for a while and maybe hang around people and socialize.

Sitting beside her in the back seat of my car as the driver drove us to the hotel was possibly the longest drive ever.

She was busy typing on her phone, the moment she got into the car, who is she texting I thought to myself. A boyfriend perhaps, I mean she's easily the hottest woman in every room she is in so she obviously has a boyfriend. I felt my heart tighten at the thought of her with another man. She finally finished texting and she moved closer to me, pressing her thighs to mine and she looked at me.

"So Ian, what has it been like? A while right?" She says smiling.

"Well not quite a while, let's see since last year in Manchester." I emphasize on the last year looking straight into her eyes.

"Manchester? Don't quite know what you mean. Don't remember seeing you when I was in college." She says flipping back her hair and moving her eyes away from mine.

"Oh really, you don't? Coco." I ask.

She takes a deep breath looking away before answering, "Yeah I have no recollection of such meeting with you."

"Okay Coco, you've obviously forgotten about it. Let me ask what was your friends name again. Was it Amy? Or Emily? Don't worry since it's not you, you wouldn't mind me mentioning it to your brother about my almost wild night of threesome with a girl Coco and her friend."

"You wouldn't do such a thing," she blurts out rolling her perfect hazel eyes.

"I mean it wasn't you, so you have nothing to worry about obviously. Let me give him a call right now." I add pressing my phone.

She quickly collects my phone. "You would do no such thing. Okay I admit it was me, and you can't tell Andy any of this because he wouldn't take it likely with you and I. Unless you want to be murdered."

We arrive at the hotel after her final statement, she pulls away from me reaching for the door. I grab her hand holding it, "Just so you know I would like to know more on the conversation."

Chloe's POV

Okay so no need to panic, he wouldn't tell my brother anything. He only wants to know about that night, I can still do this.

I saw the way he was staring at me all the way to the hotel. Seducing him might just work. The ride up the elevator was quiet, we finally arrive at the floor. Thinking he would just show me to my room and leave but he follows me inside.

"So I might have promised your brother to get you the penthouse but it has all been booked due to the holiday season. But this is mine, it's actually big enough for us both. And we won't be in each other's hair, your room, bathroom and living room are all on the other side and mine is on the other side the only place we might bump into each other is the kitchen. We might also not because there's room service and everything."

"I know you need your space, sorry about the mess up. If you don't want me here, I'll leave and get some other hotel room till everything is sorted out."

"No no no it's okay, I don't mind. I say after a pause. I mean there's alot of space for us both so we won't inconvenience each other. I think we'll be okay." I add.

"Okay then, your boxes are in your room which is that he points to a door. If you need anything, you can just come ask me or call 100 on the intercom."

"Yeah okay, sure thanks. Uhnmm I'll go now, I point to my room."

"Let's eat together later, do a little catching up" he adds before I leave.

I climbed into bed feeling edgy and out of sorts, and considered grabbing my laptop. Maybe work would settle me down some, immediately I got into my suite I got busy with arranging my closet bringing just opening few of my boxes bringing the stuff I'll need. I've avoided leaving my room for the whole day. Feel asleep and just woke up.

Realizing I haven't eaten since brunch and it's already 9 pm.

Quickly dressing up and walking into the living room finding Emma cleaning she introduced herself earlier, she is our own personal housekeeping for the penthouse.

"Mr Bancroft said I should give you this when you wake up." It's a note, I collect it reading what it says.

Meet me downstairs in the restaurant, you were sleeping and I didn't want to wake you. — Ian.

“Where is the restaurant,” I ask Emma. “Downstairs, ground floor.

“Okay thanks” I say.

I enter the restaurant, the hostess meets me by the door. "Hello would you like a table," she asks.

"Yeah, I mean I'm meeting someone. Ian Bancroft."

"Okay right this way, he's waiting for you."

I follow her, she takes me to the far end of the restaurant. Ian is sitting alone working on his computer.

"Hey" I say.

"Hey you're finally up."

"Yeah I am, you should have woken me up. Hope you were not waiting for me before you eating."

"No, just came down myself. I've just been working,” he says closing his laptop.

“Sit please." He says pointing at the seat opposite him.

"So how was your nap," he asks.

"It was good."

"Well I'm glad, should we order?" He asks.

"Yeah sure." He signals the waitress over.

We make our orders and then the small talk continues.

"So how have you been, Coco" he asks with his dashing smile.

"You know, you don't have to call me that right, no one in my family even calls me that anymore"

"No but I like it, hence the reason I'm calling you that."

I smile back shaking my head, "well so I've been great. My professional life is taken off. I've kind of been busy with that for a while now."

"I'm glad that's amazing, heard you're the CFO of the company. Andrew's says you're amazing at your job. I mean I always knew you were smart. But the question is do you like it."

"Yeah I do, finance had always been my passion and getting into it immediately after college was great. But for now, I'm taking time off it, to learn about other departments of the company, and also to enroll in Masters. That's the reason I'm back in London."

"That's amazing, Coco widening your scope on the company is actually a good idea."

"So enough about work, what else has been happening with you. Your brother seems to think, you have let work take over your life. He called few minutes ago, just to order me to make sure you take off work at least for the holiday. He specifically said, Get her out of her routine."

Damn you Andy, I thought to myself. I know my brother cares alot about me but making his best friend to hang out with me because I have no friends is a little wild, his best friend who I happen to have the hots for. I mean I don't really have friends, it was just Charlie and Mia before I broke up with Charlie and Mia moved to America so he has a point. The only thing exciting in my life is actually my work.

"Coco! My head snapped up, realizing I have been deep in my thought.

“Well nothing really,” I say. “Been so busy with work I probably don't have a life outside work. I'm pretty boring."

"C'mon you can't tell me, you don't have a life after that. I mean you're young, beautiful and so much more. Of course there's something else and I know for a fact your college days were wild."

I smile, understanding he means that unfortunate night I almost slept with him.

"Okay so that day was a very good occasion and I chickened out anyway so."

"Now that you've mentioned it please elaborate," he says with a smirk.

"Well okay so, I broke up with Charlie. Wasn't really in a good head space, my best friend kind of convinced me to have a threesome. It wasn't suppose to be with you, just any willing guy but then I saw you. I remembered you but I was drunk so I wasn't thinking right, seeing that you didn't recognize me encouraged me." I say explaining.

"Well, if you must know and I'm not proud of it. I wasn't also in a good head space then, I mean I thought you looked familiar that I knew you from somewhere but you looked so different from how I remember you so it didn't cross my mind." Ian says.

"Different? How different." I ask.

"You know what I mean, you're all grown up," he says as he gazed down my body.

That made shiver, the way he looked at me.

"Anyway I think we should start over, I mean you are suppose to be my life guide according to my brother_" he cuts me off saying

"So it's better if we put that incident behind us and never speak of it."

"Yeah" I say smiling suddenly glad he's on board.

"Let's start by being friends and then I'll see on what areas you need my expertise on. Do you want to join me at the park for a run?"

"You run?" I asked. "On purpose?"

"Yes," he said, outright laughing now.

"I'm into the exercising running. Meet me by the door, tomorrow morning by 6."
