"This look so fancy!" Kate said when she arrive at the restaurant with Cathleen. "Look at what I'm wearing!" Kate was restless. Cathleen keep on saying it's fine but for Kate it's not. She took a deep breath and followed Cathleen inside.

"Just remember the plan. Do anything so hes convince we're together. I really hate him." Kate nods. Cathleen went to a waiter and talks to him. The waiter then lead them towards Cathleen's date. Cathleen greeted him first and when he look up, he's eyes were all over Kate.

Kate too look at him. He's not quite bad looking. Perfectly comb hair, chisel chin, perfect smile, cute dimples, deep blue eyes and the most charming attitude man nowadays lacking off. If Kate were really straight, she probably be all over him.

"Like promise, MY girlfriend, Kate." Cathleen introduce Kate to the man. The man stood up from his chair and offer his hand. "Eduardo." He smile. "Kate." Kate smile back and sat next to Cathleen.

"Cathleen has been talking about you. Is it true you're graduated from law school?" Kate's eyes widen and turn to Cathleen who's drinking her glass of water. Kate nods. "Yes.. just I haven't found a perfect law firm to work with. It's hard to find one."

Kate gave him a nervous laugh.

Eduardo nods. "True. I'm a medical doctor. Specialised in cardiac." Kate was impress. "Ahhh. The beauty of the human heart. It's fun to study about them. The most important organ in our body." Eduardo chuckle.

"You got that right. So tell me, how did you two meet?" Kate step on Cathleen's foot. Cathleen jolted up and fixes her position. "Well.. I guess we both met in a rather weird situation. It's was at night when she went into my store and buy her grocery." Cathleen chuckle.

"And it was quite frightening scene for me because she look so hostile." Kate added.

"Hey am not. Anyways. She was busy buying all those stuff, she doesn't even notice I've been looking at her since she step her foot in the store. The way she would remove the strands of hair away from her view and to behind her ears, the way she would look at the labels before putting them inside the basket, and the way she would smiling to herself. It's.. adorable."

Cathleen turn to Kate who's listening tentatively.

"And when she pays for the grocery, it was as if I can't breath and can't think. She's beautiful. Too beautiful for a person as low as me to love. But from that day on, she keeps on coming back and we talk about a thing or two until I have the vagina to ask her out. And she said yes."

"Awwwww... so romantic." Eduardo said dreamily. Both Cathleen and Kate look at him. "That's how you two together huh? Now that's a love story." Cathleen turn to Kate and smile. "I think it's time for food huh?" Eduardo call for the waiter and they both order the food.

In different kind of place, Vanessa and Jacob look at each other while the woman who they follow to the back room at the bar, preparing some refreshment for them. "Look, you ask us to come at night, we did. Now tell us what we want." Jacob said rather rude.

Vanessa turn to her boyfriend. Jacob shrug. "I'm sorry. He's quite rude." The woman wave it off. "It's okay. I understand. I was one of the gang members as well. I received a lot worst treatment than the other who leave did."

The woman show her prosthetic left leg.

"I don't know why do you ask for their information. But.. investigating into their secret members, you will be like me. It's dangerous. Too dangerous." Jacob sigh. He grab on Vanessa's arm. "What does Kate need to know about them?" He ask.

Vanessa honestly has no idea herself. Jacob look at the woman. "Miss. I'm not afraid of them. From the things I've been through, these petty gangs just trying to show everyone how strong they are but actually they just pussy's."

"Be careful sir. They all can't be challenge. I know them. I was one of them. After our real leader decided to leave the group, its real purpose was gone. Now, its purpose was to be at the same level as the cartel. Some of us who don't want that decided to leave as well and look what happen to us."

"Those are just American trash that trashing the whole society of America." Vanessa pull Jacob down and apologise to the woman. "I'm sorry. What he meant was he can handle beating them up. We're from the Christ Crime family. From LA. And we have no fear. Whatsoever."

The woman's eyes widen.

"If they want to be treated like a cartel, we'll give them what they want. Blood and gore. No survivors. My mother's control the crime and drugs going in and out of this town not them. We don't kill or hurt anyone without any reason. That's uncivilised. They tainted the good crime family name."

Jacob is not happy about the petty gang. Not at all. "Why does Kate what's to know about this gang?" He ask. Vanessa shrugs. "Probably because of her female boss." Suddenly, Jacob's phone ringing. He excuse himself when its one of his mother's. Vanessa smile at the woman.

"He sound like a lovely man." The woman said when Jacob went outside for the call.

"He's just overprotective of his little sister. Even though he looks like someone who has hatred in his heart, he's a good boy. To his mother's, sister and me." The woman chuckle. When Jacob came back in he looks trouble.

"What's wrong?" Vanessa ask.

"We have to go."

Vanessa took a sip of her tea and thank the woman for her hospitality. When they both inside the car, Jacob took a deep breath. "Jacob what's wrong? You seems off after the phone call." Vanessa ask again.

"Mommy wants me home. We have some issues with Pedro and his gangs." Jacob said. Vanessa look at him weirdly. "So? Just go. I can stay with Kate." Jacob shake his head. "You need to come with. You were summon as well."

Vanessa sigh. "Okay. Now I know why you're restless. Who's going to take care of Kate?" Jacob shrugs. "She will never let the boys stay with her. Or even the girls." Jacob sigh and drive towards Kate's apartment.

"The dinner was lovely." Kate said when Cathleen stops in front of her apartment building. "We should do this again. Just the two of us." Cathleen smile. Kate was smiling back when they both heard the car window being knock.

Kate look out to see her brother asking her to go out. "Who's that?" Cathleen ask.

"My neighbour." Kate sigh and got out. Kate pull her brother away from Cathleen's car and ask him what's going on. Cathleen got out of the car and watch them. She has a bad feeling about him. She never saw him before.

Kate hugs him and watch him go into his car and drive away. Cathleen went to Kate's side and wonder what just happen. "You seem to be close to your neighbour." Kate chuckle. "I'm sorry for lying. He's my brother. Came here to see how I'm doing here."

Cathleen can't believe a creepy looking guy like him is her brother! "No way! He's..."

"Scary? Yes your brothers mention that before." Kate chuckle. "Hey. Wanna go to my apartment? I have coffee. Or tea if you prefer it." Cathleen wanted to refuse politely but it's probably her only chance to see how she live. Cathleen nods.

Kate unlock her apartment and walk in. She invited Cathleen in and turn on the lights. Like anyone who went into her apartment, they gasp when they look up at the ceiling. Jacob's artwork never fail to mesmerised everyone.

"That's Vincent Von Gogh, Starry Night." Kate was impressed.

"That's right. You know arts as well?" Cathleen nods. "I'm majoring in arts. Well, before decided to drop out and managing the store." Kate offered a seat and place her handbag on the kitchen counter. She went to the stove and prepare some refreshment for both of them.

"You... live in such... wow.." Kate's eyes widen.

"You don't look like working in a store. I mean. The things you have.. geez.." Kate turn around and smile when Cathleen emphasise everything using her hand gesture. "It was on sale. Beside, I haven't pay them all yet."

Cathleen chuckle. "You mean you're in debt?" Kate nods and turn off the stove and pour the hot water in a jug. She was glad that Vanessa took the liberty to bake some cookies for her. She grab a tray and place everything on it and went to Cathleen's whereabout.

"Here you go. Sorry for the lack of food. I just moved here." Kate joke. Cathleen wave it off. Kate pour Cathleen a cup and went on to pour herself a cup. Cathleen first sip was unbelievable. She never taste a tea that could melt her taste bud.

"If I may, what kind of tea is this?"

"Honestly I'm not sure myself, my brother's girlfriend prepared everything while I'm at work. She bought everything." Kate said and sip her cup. "Are you really from the north? Your lifestyle is so not like it." Cathleen said.

Kate began to feel restless. She know, sooner or later, her little secret will be out. Maybe it's time her employer knows the truth. "I'm not." Kate smile. "I'm from LA. Came here to learn how to be independent. But this past few days, my brother and his girlfriend came here and renovated my apartment to this."

Kate sigh.

"I'm not from an average or normal family. My whole life, I was fed with a silver spoon. My life was perfect. My parents, supports our decision and they let me move here, away from them. Away from the luxurious stuff." Cathleen listen to her tentatively while munching the cookies.

"My name is Kate Natasha Christ. I am the youngest daughter of the Christ crime family." Cathleen was drinking her tea when Kate told her the truth and spray everything that's in her mouth to Kate's face. Kate wipe it off while Cathleen help her.

"The Christ crime family?! You're the princess of the criminal world?! OH MY GOD!" Kate look down. She knows her boss will fire her after she knows the truth. "I heard your family opening a new club in town. I was looking forward for it too. The world famous club in a small little town. That's big!"

Cathleen suddenly said and continue to drink. Kate look at her weirdly. "You're not gonna fire me?" It's Cathleen's turn to look at her weirdly. "Why would I fire someone so diligent in her work? Beside, no problems while you work for me. So it's okay. I can't judge you for where you came from. It's your family."

Cathleen smile and pinch on Kate's nose. "I need more of that tea. It's so delicious." Kate chuckle and pour another cup for Cathleen. "So it's really okay?" Cathleen nod. "I do have a question. Why would you even drive such old and dysfunctional car from LA this far? Are you mad?"

Kate chuckle. "I don't want to be flashy. Beside I want to be independent without my mother's help." Cathleen shake her head. "What is wrong with you. Everyone wants to live your life and you want to live like us, under privilege? Geez. All those caviar must have tainted your mind."

Cathleen joke.

"I never knew hardship of life. My mom, Jac, she was not from a rich family. She was an orphan. Her stories makes me want to feel that. I want to be independent. But it seems my brother has other agenda for me." Kate chuckle.

"Is that your family?" Cathleen pointed at a family portrait.

Kate nods. "That's my family. My mother's. Brother, future sister in law and me." Cathleen stood up and went to look at the picture. "Geez.. your mother is so hot.." Kate chuckle. "That's mommy. Yes she is. If not, my mom wouldn't be marrying her."

"Dude your family the richest family in America. It must be hard to be a princess huh." Kate shake her head. "Yes we're rich. But, our mother raise us with love and life lesson. Everything you want, you need to work for it."

"Ever travel?" Kate nods.

"Europe? Africa? Everywhere?" Again Kate nods.

"I can only imagine your mansion in LA." Kate chuckle. "Well if you want, we can go and have a little visit. We can ask the boys to follow us as well." Kate smiles.

"Oh I think they will love it."

Jacob and Vanessa drove up to the Christ mansion and park the car in front of the front entrance. Jacob was the first to got out and open the door for her girlfriend. It's been a long drive and all he want is to rest up for tomorrow's meeting.

Jacob place his bags on the door and went to his room leaving Vanessa behind. Vanessa shake her head seeing him like that. She knows, tired Jacob is useless to lecture. Vanessa look at the time and it's 6 am.

She's tired but not sleepy. She's been sleeping in the car all the way here. She decided to help the maids to make breakfast. Since she move in the Christ mansion, she's been helping a lot.

The maids, Jacob's parents and sometimes even the family business. Vanessa greet the maids and ask them what's for breakfast. At first they refuse Vanessa's help because she just came back from a long trip but she insist.

"Vanessa? The Madams wants to see you." A maid said and pointed at the porch. "They awake this early? Now that's something new." Vanessa chuckle and excuse herself. She made way towards the porch where the lady of house were.

"Mom.. mommy.."

Jac and Natalia turn to Vanessa and invited her to have breakfast together.

"Where's Jacob?" Jac ask.

"Sleeping. He's tired. He never let me drive." Natalie took a sip of her tea and place it down. "How's Kate? She's okay? I miss her." Vanessa smile. "She's okay mommy. She's actually surviving." Jac laugh.

"I receive a call from the princess saying she's coming home for the weekend. With some friends." Vanessa reach for something from Natalia's plate slowly and eat it with her bare hands.

"Jesus, V. Have some manners." Natalia try to hit her hands with her spoon when she try to grab a grape from her plate again. Vanessa chuckle when Natalia fail to do so. Jac watch this and smile widely.

"Relax mommy. Don't get all wrinkle up." Vanessa joke. Natalia shake her head and let Vanessa do whatever she wants. "What's up with Pedro and his gang?" Vanessa ask. "He's asking for blood from us. But that's okay. Jacob knows what to do." Jac said and wipe her mouth.

Jac look at Vanessa and Natalia as if having a fight using a spoon. "V, are you by any chance, pregnant?" Vanessa laugh. "No silly. I'm on my period." Jac chuckle. "Even worst. I'm going to work now. Take care of my queen while I'm gone." Vanessa nod and watch Jac gone into her car.

Natalia took a sip of her tea and look at Vanessa. Vanessa notice and swallow the lump in her throat. "Anything on my face?" She ask the oldest member of the Christ household. She shake her head.

"Any plans on giving me grandchildren?" Vanessa cough out the food she consume. Natalia laugh. "I'm joking V. But do think about it. Jac and I not growing younger. We're getting older." Natalie wave for her maid and ask them another cup of tea.

"Maybe not this year. I have something to deal with before being a mom." Vanessa said. Natalia was curious. "What would that be?" Vanessa shrugs. "One of them would be meeting my parents who denied me as their daughter." Vanessa chuckle.

"Also I want to help Kate with this little espionage mission she gave me." Vanessa smile. "Tell me about it." Natalia said and thank the maids. "I shouldn't tell you or mom about it. But I guess I should after I learned something about them."

"What did you know?" Natalia ask.

"The people in the gang willing to hurt anyone. Kill even. One of the groups ex-member warned us about them. Yes Kate can take care of herself. But what about her friends. I've met them mommy, and they need to be protected. But if Jacob and I do that, Kate might know and have a fit."

Natalia chuckle.

"Do what Jac and I do. In secrets. By the time she knows, the gang probably be obliterated. But remember this V. If Kate was hurt or any kind, I will not hesitate to burn those people alive. I'll shall dance on their burning corpses if they hurt my princess."

Natalia gave her a serious look. Vanessa nods. "Not even a single scratch on my princess. I love both my princesses. You and Kate. I will not stay silent if you two were hurt. And neither will Jacob. He promise he'll protect you both with his life."

Vanessa smile. "And I'll do the same for you mommy. For you and mom." Vanessa said and smile widely. "Now, eat your breakfast. Follow me to meet Judas." Natalia finishes her tea and waited for Vanessa.

Vanessa wonder why does he need to meet Judas. Judas was the least person she wants to meet. Judas probably the rudest people ever met but she listen to Natalia and Jac like a loyal dog.

She's the most loyal assassin the Christ ever created. Vanessa finish up and follow Natalia to meet Judas at her private quarters at the most isolated area they could find for her. She's not a very social person.

Anyone who doesn't know her like the Christ does must've thought Judas the most psychopathic person ever. What do people expect from a woman who has no control of her anger. She does sometime need to be chains just to make sure she's not hurting herself.

When Natalia and Vanessa walks inside the average looking room, judas was hanging upside down in the middle of the air, only using the silk that was attached on the ceiling as her safety measure equipment.

When judas saw Natalia, her face changes to happiness. It's been a while since she saw her 'mother'. Judas jump off and landed on all four perfectly. She stood up and walk towards Natalia and Vanessa.

Judas bow and look up to Natalia's face. "What do I owe to have such pleasure to meet the queen and princess of this horrific castle..." Judas voice sends shivers down Vanessa spine.

"I have a new job for you. Get out of the shadows and be in the main mansion this instance."

That's all Natalia said before leaving Vanessa alone with Judas. Judas gave Vanessa a sly smile.
