Cathleen was unpacking her stuff when her parents walks in. "We need to talk." They said before walks out of the room. Cathleen sigh and went out to see her brothers already seated next to their parents. "What's happening?"

Cathleen asks. Mr and Mrs Royale look at each other before look at their kids faces. Cathleen was restless. She slam her hands on the table, making her mother flinch. "What's wrong? What happened when we're in LA?" Cathleen asks again.

"Your old friend came to visit!" Her father said and look down. Cathleen stood up from her chair and look at everyone. "What?! What did they do?" Cathleen ask again. "They want to know about the new worker. They want to know where were you. We lied saying you went out of the states."

Mr Royale said.

Cathleen walk back and forth. Why does whenever she found peace, her past will always find its way to her again? Why does every time she found someone who care about her, these imbecile decided to be there, terrorising everything?

These questions keeps on playing inside her mind like a loop until Benjamin call for her. "Cathleen, Kate's in trouble, isn't she? Should we tell her brother?" Cathleen glared at her brother. "NO! HE WILL NEVER NEED TO KNOW! If he does, I will not have a chance with Kate, whatsoever!"

"We cannot be selfish, Cathleen. If we do, her life will be in danger!" Marshall try to reason with his sister. Cathleen turn away from facing her family. She was looking at nothing in particular when her mother place her hand on her shoulder.

A group of guys were playing cards when they heard the door was kick down and show someone they hardly seen in town. "YOU WENT TOO FAR THIS TIME BERT!" Cathleen's voice echoes in the old abandoned factory.

Kate was at the kitchen, preparing some tea when she heard the loudest snoring sound she ever heard in her life. Her mind seems to keep on overthinking the information the boys told her yesterday. She's angry. She's sad and she felt like she need to do something about it.

"When did I came here? Why am I in your clothes?" Kate was startled by a voice behind her. She turn to a sleepy looking Cathleen. "Yesterday. Your brothers brought you here." Kate smile and place a plate of muffin in front of Cathleen.

"I feel like body aches so much." Cathleen grab the muffin. "You didn't do anything to me right?" Cathleen joke. "Oh yes I did.." Kate wink and laugh it off. "Tea?" Cathleen nods. "I love some." Kate pour a cup for her and another cup for herself.

"I wonder how my hands got these bruises from. So weird." Cathleen said with her mouth full. "Chew first, talk later." Kate said politely. Cathleen swallow and gave her a nervous laugh. "Sorry. Where are my manners." Cathleen added.

"You look trouble." Cathleen said while drinking her tea. "I'm okay. Just a little tired." Cathleen place the cup down. "I'm sorry. I seems to can't remembered how I got here. I must be disturbing you." Kate shake her head. "No. Not you. Will never be you." Kate smile.

"And? Why are you tired?" She asks the blonde again.

"Sleeping at the couch, with two snoring boys." Kate chuckle. Cathleen turn to her brothers who's still sleeping soundly. "Oh.. why didn't you sleep in the room.. with me?" Cathleen ask while sipping her tea.

Kate look at Cathleen. She was wondering if she heard it right. "What I meant was, why don't you just enter your own room. And sleep on the bed. It's your room. Not mine." Kate chuckle. "My mother always taught us not to be rude. Always do anything with permission. Never crosses someone's boundaries."

"In other words, you're trying to be nice." Cathleen wiggling her eyebrows. "Exactly." Kate smile. They were just talking when the brothers yawn and woke up. Marshall look at his sister. "You okay?" He asks. Cathleen nod.

"Thank you. But how did you know?" Marshall smile. "Sis, we're siblings. We know you very well." Cathleen mess up Marshall's hair. "But why here?" Benjamin clear his throat. "We know they will try to find you at the house. So we bring you here."

Cathleen's eyes widen when she remembered her parents. "Don't worry about them. We send them to Uncle Morty's house." Marshall smile. The Royale's notice how silent Kate was. Cathleen saw how her hands would shake uncontrollable.

Cathleen wonder what was she's thinking about. But not now. Not in front of the boys. "Cathleen, we're going home. You can stay here if you want. Beside, Kate has the day off." Both Marshall and Benjamin stood up and thank Kate for her hospitality.

"Don't do anything involving two people alone in a bedroom, girls." Benjamin joke. That earn a glare from Cathleen. The boys laugh and close the door behind them. Kate smile and clean the empty plates. Cathleen watch her thoroughly.

"Something's in your mind. I know it." Kate tilted her head. "What do you mean?" Cathleen shake her head. "What did the boys told you?" Kate look up to her. "Everything. From A to Z." Cathleen look down. "They told you about the..." Kate interrupt.

"You don't have to remembered it all. It's all in the past. But I have something deep down here..." Kate patted her chest. "That I want to do to those who did all the awful things to you." Cathleen actually feel like she really care.

"It's okay. It's in the past."

"He was about to do it again last night. Why did you even go to his place? Cathleen, no one can lay a hand on me. Damn, not even a finger. Don't worry about me. Just worry about yourself for a change. What if your brothers didn't get there in time, you would've been... or worst...dead..."

Kate let her tears fall. At this moment, she doesn't sure what was her feelings towards the auburn hair woman. Is it love? Or just friendship? "I'm sorry. I was angry at the time. And all I can think of is to kill Bert." Kate wipe her tears and wonder.

She thought she heard that name before. But where? Kate shake the thoughts off.

"Let's forget about him and enjoy the day shall we." Kate suggested. Cathleen nod as it is a good way to forget the whole unforgettable memories about the past. Cathleen was enjoying her meal when Kate heard her phone ringing.

Kate squinted her eyes and answer it. "Yes?" Kate listen to what Marshall had to say. "Okay." She hang up. "We have to go to the store. Something happen and he wants you to see it for yourself. You can use my clothes." Cathleen took the last sip of the tea and went to Kate's room to get ready.

Kate walk back and forth around the living room and decided to call for her brother. She remembered something about a guy named Bert and Jacob will have a happy day when he knows.

Also it would be wise to tell him what's going on. If Marshall was right, Bert would be aiming her and she need some muscle to handle Bert. Her brother is one of the perfect candidate to do so. She waited for him to pick his phone up.

"Hello.." its Vanessa.

"V. Can you and Jacob come here. Like, immediately. I need your help."

"What's going on?" Vanessa ask through the phone.

"Just come here and I'll explain everything. I think Jacob will love to be here as well. I found Bert." Kate heard Vanessa gasp.

"Bert?! Oh yes he will love this. We will be there by tomorrow. Promise." Kate thank her and hang up. Kate smile.

Cathleen can't believe what she's seeing right now. Every aisle was messed up. The store looks like a giant just went by. Bottles, cans, everything is on the floor. She was stepping on some type of liquid that she hope it came from the broken bottles of alcohol.

Kate gasp as she enters as well. "The register completely gone. Even our house upstairs was broke in. They came here alright." Marshall said when he walk out from the back room. "They went too far!"

Cathleen yells before two police officer came in the store. "We receive a call from Benjamin Royale. We're here to take the reports of a break in." Marshall call the cops and show them what actually happen.

Kate notice Cathleen sat down on the stool and pinch the bridge of her nose. "Everything will be alright." Kate calm her down. "No Kate. This.. my parents store. It's all my fault.." Cathleen blaming herself for what had happen.

"It's nobody's fault. Those gangs just seeking attention. Don't worry. The police will do something about it." Kate trybto stay positive. "Does this premises has any CCTV install?" One of the cop asks. "Yes sir. Follow me." Marshall show them the CCTV set up.

Cathleen sigh heavily. One of the cops came out from the room and started to take pictures of the surrounding. "Do you have any enemies?" He ask when he kneeling down on the floor. "I don't know where to start sir." Cathleen gave the cop a dry joke.

"Well you need to think of who it might be because I don't think this is a normal warning at all." The cop said and show the girls what he had found. Kate went to the cops side followed by Cathleen and nearly vomited when they saw a dead dog on the floor.

The culprit took the liberty to write something with the dog's blood. "First warning." Kate said. "This people will not rest until I am 6 feet under!" Cathleen turn away and place her hands on the counter.

Kate went to Cathleen side and calm her down. "Miss. you need to follow us to the station for a full report. This is a serious matter." Cathleen nod. Marshall came out of the room and punch the walls. "They fucking cut off the surveillance! Sneaky bastard!" The cops followed him out.

"I would like to investigate the upstairs. I was inform that it was also broke in?" Marshall nod and show the way. Cathleen and the others was brought to the station for a full report.

Later that night, the Royale siblings were gather in Kate's apartment, thinking of what should they do next. "We can't stay here forever. We need to find a place to stay that is completely safe." Marshall said.

"You guys can stay here. I don't mind." Kate smile. "No. Marshall is right. We need to find some where else. We've been troubling you with our problems." Kate placed a tray of refreshment on the coffee table. "It's okay. We're friends. We are all on this together."

On cue, they all heard the knocks at the door. Everyone were on edge. "It's us.." Kate released a relief sigh when it's Jacob. Kate open the door and let them in. "Oh wow. Slumber party." Jacob said when he saw the Royale's inside.

"We hope it is." Benjamin said earning a glare from Cathleen. "What's wrong? Why does everyone look like shit?" Jacob turn to Kate. "Long story bro.." Jacob sat down on the couch. "I have all the time. Start explaining." Kate began to tell her brother what is going on.

Marshall and Benjamin added a few more things and Cathleen can't stop apologising for giving them all the trouble. Jacob and Vanessa listen tentatively. They look at each other when Kate told them about the dead dog in the store.

"Bert is too much." Was all Jacob said. "Way too much. Are you sure there's nobody else could do these kind of things?" Cathleen shake her head. Jacob notice how his sister have been to say something. He wonder what could've stop her from blurt it out.

"Kate. Can we talk. In private." Jacob stood up and went to the bedroom. Kate followed shortly. "Alright. Tell me what's up. You've been trying to say something from the start. Now we're all alone. Spill the beans." Jacob sat on the bed and waited for his sister to say something.

"Jacob... Bert did something awful to Cathleen." Jacob raised both eyebrows. "Explain even further please." Kate sigh. "Jacob, he rape her. After he killed Cathleen's girlfriend. He rape her right there. In front of her corpse."

Jacob grab her sister and let her sit down next to him. "What do you want me to do?" He asks. Kate rest her head on her brother's shoulder. "I don't know. I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do Jacob. I know deep down I have feelings for her. But I'm too shy to say anything."

Jacob wrap his arms around his sister. "Bert tried to rape her again last 2 days. But her brothers manage to stop it. They came here, seek some shelter from me. Seeing her vulnerable, sleeping on my bed that night, I know I should do something about the people who wants her dead."

Jacob rub his sister's side.

"Jacob. What will you do if Vanessa facing the same problems like Cathleen does?" Jacob clear his threat. "I would find the person responsible and end its life. Right there, right now." Jacob look at his sister's face.

"And I won't stop there. I'll torture that person before he is pronounce dead. I'll torture that person to the core. Breaking every single bones he or she has and burn him or her alive. For making my future wife crying and in fear, is not acceptable." Jacob wipe Kate's tears from her cheek.

"I'll ask you again. What do you want me to do Bert? What do you want me to do to the gang who made the person you love cry and in fear, Kate Natasha Christ." Jacob ask again.

"End him. No mercy. Not even one single life from that gang will ever walk on this earth ever again. Let them fear you. Let them scream for help. I want them all dead." Jacobs's eyes widen at his sister's request.

It's the first time he heard her being all dark. "And as a brother I shall make your wish come true, sister.." Jacob promise.
