Days after days, I waited for acceptance mail after filling the application form.

I've been doing part time work since I left high school three years ago.

To be given admission in Nigeria was hard especially if you were poor like me. Admission in southwest Nigeria was based on connections and money but I got nothing which meant it was the full stop to my education.

I sat down in my shitty room - munching my popcorn like there was no tomorrow.

Have I lost hope?

No.

"Ye..."The bickering in my head stopped when my phone beeped, I jumped out of the bed to take my phone, not without colliding my leg with the stool.

Congratulations to the students.

"You've been accepted as a student of IOU, do follow the link below. To redirect you to your dashboard"

When I saw the message I screamed and danced around the room, I'd not lost my hope.

I clicked on the link to my dashboard, I saw the courses I would be offering.

I clicked on the first course which was ARB101, I checked all the notes and content underneath it before I saw the students forum, I clicked on it.

After checking the students forum, it was said to submit our whatsapp number and I sent it unbeknowingly to me, it was the beginning of my life.

How was the prologue?

This is my first time writing something like this, feeling nervous.

This is a very short story maybe like 12 chapters to 15 but the first to fourth chapters would be in chat format.
