After two hours, we were finally done. Phew, I couldn't take more of biology.

"Finally." I said collapsing on the couch.

"You're something else." She chuckled.

"A delight." I grinned.

"Indeed." She said while sitting next to me.

"When I was fourteen, I went to a party, I wasn't popular. So I was like, I got invited and I was excited cause maybe I would get friends. I ended up getting drugged and I-"

"You don't have to say it, I know what you want to say, I hate that word too." She while putting her hand on my shoulder.

"He was found dead the next day from an overdose."

"Well, he got what he deserved." She said.

"But something good came from that, and that's my baby girl." I smiled.

"True. Does she ask about her dad?"

"Used to, I told her that he died when she was just a baby. I'm not even sure if I want to tell her when she grows up."

"It's a long way for that, you still got time to think about it." She smiled.

"Thanks, for not judging and for listening." I said while putting my hand on top of hers.

"If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm your girl." She said with a sexy smirk...Wait what, sexy? What's wrong with me.

We started to talk about everything and nothing, I have no idea a why I felt the need to share my story with her, but I did and felt nice.

"You're welcome to join us for dinner." We turned to see mom. Aria skipped her way to me and hugged me.

"I don't want or be a-"

"Perfect, table for five" She said before leaving.

"Guess I'm staying for dinner."

I enjoyed her company, she was so nice and easy to talk to. After dinner she went home. I went to watch a movie with Aria.

"How long before she finally realized why she's not attracted to guys?" Mom said to dad.

"This is Alexis we're talking about, gonna take a while." Dad replied.

Days went by and it was finally Saturday, my friends came to hangout, scratch that they came to visit Aria. They love her so much.

"So, I'm very confused." I said to them.

"There's nothing wrong with liking, you know who." Ciara said to me.

"But it's wrong, I need to think about it." I sighed.

"You can run, but you can't hide. Isn't it better to admit that you are and be free than hide and be miserable." Fernando advise me.

"It's just so confusing."

"What's confusing, mommy?"

"Biology, I'm so bad at that." I said to her.

"But Kristy is good, I like her. She's nice." Aria said while pinching my cheeks.

Yeah, I like her too. And that's what I'm afraid of. Eventually my friends left and I went for a walk on the park with Aria.

"Can we get some ice cream, please."

"Of course."

I ordered our ice creams and went to sit on a bench.

"Will you ever marry someone? That way I can get a daddy."

"I'm still young to get married, but maybe in the future." I said to her.

"Okay." She smiled before going back to her ice cream.

"So this is the reason you missed a year." Marla said, she's the queen bee.

"Ever heard of condoms?" One of her minion said.

"How about you two shut up and leave me alone."

"Not nice." Marla said as she grabbed Aria's ice cream and throw it on the floor.

"I don't like you." Aria pushed Marla, this caused her to lose her balance and she ended up falling on poop dog.

"You little shit." She said while getting up and ready to attack Aria.

I put myself in front of Aria, yeah no one messes with her. "Mess with me, but you don't touch her."

"Lady go clean that poop." Aria chuckled, I wanted to laugh.

"You crazy bitch." She said before storming off.

"You okay?"

"Yes, that lady is crazy." Aria said.

"That she is, come on let's buy you another ice cream and head home." I picked her up.

I swear the people who think they rule everyone deserve a punch, once you leave high school your time is over, no one cares.
