We arrived at the coffee place and ordered our ice creams. Then we went to our table.

"Kristy, did you know mommy bakes the best cookies and cupcakes. I love cupcakes." She said before eating her ice cream.

"Sounds like your mommy can become a pastry chef." She smiled at Aria.

She's not wrong, I love baking. I hope to become a pastry chef one day.

"That would mean free cupcakes." She squealed. We just chuckled.

"You should bake with us, can we bake today, mommy?" She said before giving me a big ice cream kiss on my cheek.

"If she's not busy, yeah. Are you in?" I asked her.

"I'm in." She smiled.

After ice cream we went for a walk on the park, it was a beautiful day. Eventually we went home and started to mix the ingredients.

I decided to have a little fun with her, let's see how she reacts.

"Did I mix these correct?" I said while grabbing batter with my finger and traced her bottom lip with it.

She looked at me intensely, then she licked her lip. "Taste perfect." She blushed.

"Let's get some baking done, people." Aria said causing us to laugh.

Once the cupcakes were in the oven, we started to make the cookie dough. I have to say, being with them is so nice and I have fun. I tried just being her tutor , but have you seen Alexis, it's impossible. And Aria inviting me with her doesn't help, and I can't bring myself to say no to her.

She's driving me crazy, why does she have to be so cute. Snap out of it. I went to do the cookie dough, I could feel her looking at me, she was making me nervous.

"Cookie dough is ready." I said as she walked towards me.

She grabbed cookie dough and ate it. "really sweet, I like it." She said while licking her finger. Look away Alexis, look away.

"Time to bake the cookies, mommy."

"Yeah, let's bake." I said.

Once they were in the oven we went outside to talk. That was a little too intense in the kitchen. As we were talking Aria fell asleep in my arms, I went to put her on her bed. "Enjoy your nap." I gave her a kiss on her forehead. I went back to her, and Kristy was on her phone talking.

"Yeah, please come home fast, I miss you."

I waited till she finished talking then made my way outside.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Sort of, I was talking to dad. I miss him, he's been on a business trip for two months, traveling around the world. "I hope he comes back home, and never leave again." She sighed.

"Maybe he will, have a little faith." I said while placing my hand on hers. She put her other hand on top of mine.

"Thanks, talking to you makes me feel better." She smiled.

"Look at that." Mom whispered to dad.

"I know, she needs to stop being afraid and be happy." Dad whispered back.

"Well, the way it's going maybe she will."She smiled while looking at us.

They walked towards us. "Kristy, we're all having lunch outside, you're welcome to join us." Mom said.

"Uh, I don't want to be-"

"Perfect, be ready at twelve." Dad said before leaving with mom.

"Your parents never let me finish my sentence when it comes to eating with you all." She chuckled.

"That's because they like you." I said to her.

"And what about you? Do you like me?" She asked while walking closer to me.

"I-I-" I was cut by her.

"Relax, I'm teasing. I already got my answer." She winked before going inside.

I went to the kitchen and got the cookies and cupcakes out of the oven. And let them cool. I made frosting, and then I felt someone behind me.

"Vanilla frosting, my favorite." She said while resting her head on the crook of my neck.

"Mine too." I said while mixing, she just chuckled then went to the living room.

Oh God, this girl is gonna be the death of me.

We arrived at the restaurant and placed our orders. A few minutes later they came with our food.

"So, Kristy, how's everything with you?" Mom asked.

"It's good, just missing my dad, he travels around the world for business."

"Sacrifices parents do to give the best to our kids, hang in there." Dad smiled.

"Thanks."

"Do you have a boyfriend?" Aria asked.

"No, but I do have my eyes on someone special, but that person is a bit blind." She said to her.

"Do they need glasses?" Aria asked innocently causing us to laugh.

"They do need glasses." She tickled her making her giggle.

I just looked at how they interact, it was cute. I wonder who she likes.

"Maybe you should make a move on that person." Mom suggest.

"What do you think, princess?" Dad asked.

"Yeah, if you like this person then make a move." I said

"I will, when the time is right." She smiled then went back to her food.

After lunch we went back home, Kristy left an hour later.

She's confusing, she gets all flirty and intense with me, then she says she has someone in mind. I need a nap.
