A month went by and I was finally getting better at biology. But that didn't stop Kristy from tutoring me. And I didn't want to stop, I enjoy her company. We've been hanging out and getting to know more about each other. And I decided that today was the day to tell the school about my story. I was so done with them still talking behind my back. So I figured the cafeteria was the best place.

"Are you sure?" Kristy asked.

"Yeah, I'm tired of the name calling and them calling my baby girl a horrible mistake and the devil seed."

"We got your back, Alexis." Fernando said.

"Can I have everyone's attention?" I said as everyone stopped and looked my way. "You guys been calling me names, been rude and been saying that my daughter is a horrible mistake."

"She's also the Devils seed." Marla yelled as everyone laughed.

"Shut up idiots!" Ciara yelled.

"She's not any of that, nor am I. See. When I was fourteen I got invited to what I thought it was gonna be a small reunion, I wasn't popular so I went. But what I didn't know was that everything was a plan to have sex with me. I was invited by Joshua Dawson. He gave me a drink and after that I lost conscious. Even when I was unconscious I kept saying no, he didn't listened. So yeah he drugged me and ra-" I couldn't finish, tears were falling.

And I hate that word so much I can't even say it.

"And that's how Aria came, she was the only good thing about that horrible night. I thought about giving her up for adoption because I was so young, but once she was born and held my finger with her tiny little hand, I just couldn't give her up. So there you have it, it's not because I was so horny, I mean I'm not Marla." I shot back, yeah I was so over this bitch.

"You were so brave, proud of you." Kristy said before giving me a kiss on my cheek.

"Go Alexis. You slayed." Ciara said.

"Speaking of Aria, I want to see her. I need some cheeks." Fernando said causing us all to laugh.

"After school. She will be happy to see you all." I said as they nodded.

Everyone apologized for the way they behaved, Marla and her minions just glared at me. Eh irrelevant twathoes.

"Baby girl, I'm home." I said as Aria came running and hugged me. Then she hugged the others.

"Let's bake cookies." She said while jumping in her spot.

"I'm in." Ciara said.

"Same." Kristy and Fernando said.

"Yay, let's go." She said while grabbing Ciara and Fernando's hand.

"She gets excited when you three visit." I said to Kristy.

"I love to visit. Especially cause I get to spend it with you." She said while backing me against the wall.

She put each hand on the side of my head. She brought her face closer to mine, she placed a small kiss on my neck. There's that electricity, oh God this girl is gonna kill me.

"Ever heard of personal space?" I asked.

"I have, but I don't believe in it." She smirked. "You're really beautiful." She kissed my cheek then went to the kitchen.

What the, why do I keep letting this happen, why is my heart racing so fast. I can't feel this way. I shook those thoughts and went to the kitchen, mom joined us.

After baking cookies we let them cool, Aria fell asleep in my arms. I went to put her on her bed. Then my eye caught something, there was a red mark on the back of her arm, how could I have missed this? I let her sleep, I will ask after she's up from her nap.

I went to join the others, but I was worried, who did that to her? We finished watching the movie, then Ciara and Fernando left. Kristy stayed behind I think she knew something was wrong.

"Hey, mommy." Aria said while walking towards me.

"Hey, baby girl." I picked her up. "Will you tell me why you have a red mark on your arm?" I asked.

"It's nothing." She said while lowering her face.

"Aria, don't lie to mommy." I lifted her little face.

"A girl said that the reason I don't have a daddy is because he didn't want me, that he chose death over me." She said with tears, this broke me so much.

"Aria, keeping quiet is wrong, especially when someone is hurting you physically." Kristy said to her.

"I didn't hurt her, I just said that she was a liar and then she did that." She said while burying her face on my neck and cried.

"What's going on?" Mom asked as she walked in with dad

I told her what happened, and she also missed that.

"What's the name of the person who did that?" Dad asked.

"Lacy, she's always mean to me." She said as dad picked her up.

"Well, lacy is dumb. You're wanted by us, and your dad may be in heaven. But you still have a grandpa, An awesome one." He said making Aria giggle.

"I love you, grandpa." She hugged him.

"I love you more." He gave her a kiss on her forehead.

I went to join the hug fest. While mom joined Kristy.

"Thanks for always being there for Alexis." She said to her.

"She's a great girl, I will always be there for her and Aria." She smiled.
