Two weeks before my baby girl turned five, why did she grow up so fast. I went to her room and saw her playing dolls. Can I keep her little forever?

"You're so close to five." I said while sitting next to her.

"I'm a big girl now." She hugged me.

"You will always be, my baby girl." I hugged her tightly.

"Always, mommy."

"How about if we go make breakfast for everyone."

"Yay." She squealed running to the kitchen.

I should be out dating, and hanging out going to parties. But I rather be with Aria, she's precious to me.

A week went by and it was Monday morning. And with that came drama. After my daily routine I gave Aria a kiss, she was still sleeping. I went to school and people were looking at me like I had two heads.

"Hey, slut." A girl said to me.

"Didn't think you were that horny to have a kid at a young age." A guy said.

"Ever heard of condoms? Or better yet, wait till you're older to have sex and a kid." Another girl yelled.

This has to be the work of, Marla. Don't cry Alexis, don't let their words get to you.

"Why the hell would you keep the baby and destroy your future." Another guy yelled.

"Babies are a blessing." I said as my voice was breaking.

"Well, we don't want a whore in our school, so leave." Marla said as everyone started to throw rotten food at me. I ran out of the school and I bumped into three people. Kristy, Ciara and Fernando.

"What the hell happened?" Fernando asked.

"I'm going to give them hell, and I already know who's responsible for this." Ciara said.

"What happened, why did they do this?" Kristy asked.

"Marla told everyone I have a kid and everyone is calling me a slut, whore and other names." I said as tears started to fall.

"Come here." Kristy pulled me into a hug.

"Ciara, let's go teach someone not to mess with our friend." Fernando said as Ciara nodded. They both went inside. They're very protective of me.

"Come on." Kristy said while wiping my tears.

"Where?"

"My house, you can take a shower and borrow my clothes." She said giving me a genuine smile.

"Thank you." I smiled back.

I followed her to her house. Once we arrived I got in the shower. She left some clean clothes in the bathroom. I cried in the shower, mainly cause people judge me before knowing the real story behind Aria. She's the best thing in my life.

After my shower I went out and saw her on the couch. I went to sit next to her.

"Hey." She pulled me closer to her. Maybe I was emotional, But I snuggled to her.

"You know you're not those names, you are a very sweet girl." She said while rubbing my arm.

"Thanks, you're really sweet too."

It burns me that people would judge her without knowing her story. Having her here in my arms was a perfect fit, it breaks my heart to see her crying.

"You have a beautiful smile, never let anyone take that away from you."

"I won't, I already have a reason to smile, and she's at home." she smiled.

"Yes, and she's special. Which reminds me, what does she like?" I asked as she pulled away.

"You don't have to buy her anything, she's just happy if you show up." She said.

"But I want to."

"Okay, she loves everything about my little pony."

"Little pony it is." She said as i smiled.

"Thanks "

"Now Missy, since we missed school, we're gonna get to biology 101."

"Phooey." She sighed, I couldn't help but chuckled.

Marla and everyone who was involved were suspended for two weeks. I told my parents what happened and they were angry, they went to talk to the principal, but they didn't expelled them. Why? Cause of money. Figures. But he did say if one more of this stunt, they would expel them.

The day of Aria's birthday arrived.

"Mommy, mommy, Wake up."

"I'm up, I'm up." I said while pulling her into a big hug.

"Happy birthday, baby girl

"Thank you, mommy." She gave me a kiss on my cheek.

My parents walked in and hugged Aria.

Later that day everything was decorated, everyone arrived. It was just family and close friends.

I gave Aria dolls and a little pony. She was so excited.

"Happy birthday, Aria." Kristy said as Aria ran towards her and hugged her.

"Is that for me?" She asked while bouncing in her spot.

"Yes, hope you like it." She said while giving her the gift.

"It's a big fluffy my little pony, I love it." She said while hugging the stuff animal.

She went to show everyone the pony.

"Thanks, she will sleep, eat and take that pony everywhere." I said making her laugh.

"Welcome."

"Kristy, Mommy. Come here."

We went to join Aria, sang happy birthday to her. Seeing her smile was everything. The greatest gift in life is being a parent, Aria is everything to me.
