*Alexei's POV*

The alarm clock began beeping extremely loud in my ear promptly at 7 am. I groaned loudly as I hit the snooze button and rolled over, not feeling ready to leave the warm nest i created for myself with pillows and blankets.

'It's time to get up Alexei' Andrews mindlink pipped up in my thoughts.

I groaned again and removed the covers from my face. Andrew was known as an 'early bird' and I was not so much one. I sat up in my bed and rubbed my eyes, the sun just barely peeking through the curtains, birds chirping in the trees.

"It's your own fault for staying up so late" Andrews voice could be heard from the bathroom. "Cassius has bad sleeping habits and ya'll playing video games till god knows when is why you're so tired"

"Hey I don't criticize you for your bad habits" I stated loudly as i ripped the blankets away, leaving the warmth of my bed. I then paraded through my closet, figuring out what I was going to wear. I finally chose some dark distressed skinny jeans, a black and white yin yang shirt and a black choker with a small red crescent moon pendant. Feeling pleased with my outfit I walked out of my closet and entered the bathroom, brushing out the bed head and finally grabbing my signature red vans by my bed and headed down stairs.

The smell of pancakes hit my nose as I walked down the stairs that made my mouth water. I waltz into the kitchen to see James setting down a large bowl full of mini pancakes, on another plate was full of bacon, and even another filled with fried eggs. My mouth watered as I sat down at our island on a bar "You always make the best breakfast" I said as he silently handed me a plate and cracked a wide smile at me. I got my fill of bacon, eggs, and mini pancakes while Andrew and Cassius came and sat next to me, joining us for breakfast.

"So how did you sleep?" Cassius teased as he looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

James handed me a cup of freshly brewed coffee and I shot Cassius a look as I sipped on said coffee. "You can kindly fuck off" I said in the most polite and happy tone which caused everyone in the room to chuckle.

"Lets leave this language at home and not at school okay?" James said through a smirk.

I nodded and promptly finished my breakfast and coffee. "Will do dad" I said as I began to clean my plate. "Have a good day at work" I stated and gave James a hug.

"Will do kiddo, you do well today" He whispered in my ear as he returned the hug before cleaning up the kitchen and getting ready for his day.

I went and gathered my bag and grabbed my keys that hung up by the door and soon Andrew popped behind me. "You ready?" He said, a little hint of mischievous tone.

"Wanna race?" I whispered as we walked out the door.

He didn't respond, just gave me a look and slipped his helmet on.

I quickly followed, strapping on my helmet and revved the engine on my motorcycle. Then seconds away we were off

I happily won that race between Andrew and I and he was not a fan of me when we both drove into the parking lot. I took off my helmet and ran my fingers through my hair when i parked and turned a flashy smile at Andrew when he pulled into the spot next to mine.

"You're such a cheater" He muttered, but a smirk cracked at the corner of his mouth.

I tossed my hair behind me and chuckled. "Not my fault you dont know how to drive"

As we shot light insults back and forth I smelled a familiar scent of ocean and pine and turned to see Augustus leaning against his car, smiling at me. I looked to Andrew and nodded to him before walking over to Augustus. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I just wanted to wish you a good first day" He said sheepishly, and then pulled out a small box. "Also i know i didn't know you when your birthday came, so act like this is a birthday present?" he chuckled as he handed me the box.

I looked at him, half tempted to reject the gift cause I've never been really a fan unless it was my motorcycle, but I reached out to take it anyway and smiled. "You really shouldn't have" I stated as i opened the small box and pulled out a silver 3D wolf ring, with the head and tail almost touching, but what was most unique was the eyes as there was one green and one blue. It was the most beautiful thing i've seen. "Oh jesus this is gorgeous" I exclaimed in excitement.

"It's like a protection charm, my dad help me make it"

"You made this?!"

"Don't let it go to your head" He smirked at me, then checked the time on his phone. "Hey, I gotta get going, but message me when you can"

I nodded and gave him a huge hug. "Drive safe" I said as I pulled away, and he gave me a curious look before getting in his truck and leaving, waving back at me.

Andrew soon was behind me, looking over my shoulder. "Told you, boyfriend" he poked at me side.

I rolled my eyes and elbowed him in the ribs. "C'mon, lets go" I said as we shuffled into the school building.

The first half of the day was uneventful, and Andrew and I got put into different classes to my dismay. I was slightly more intelligent and ended up getting put in all the AP classes and my brother was put in regular classes. Not being in the same class with my twin was hard. My outgoing personality melted into a timid typical 'new girl' status.

With the day dragging it was finally lunch when I got to see Andrew, who was equally happy to see me, but has made a few guy acquaintances that he introduced me to.

"Duuuuudddeee, ya'll twins?" A kinda stout man with dark brown hair and eyes asked, looking between my brother and I.

I scoffed "Nah, he's actually a clone" and they all laughed.

"Names Jacks Killmen" he said as he reached out his hand.

I took my hand and griped it firmly with a handshake. "Alexei" I said as I sat down with my lunch. Soon a slender girl came walking over and sat next to Jacks, who kept taking peeks over at Andrew and I as we caught up on our morning. I turned to meet her eye contact and she smiled shyly at me.

"Oh guys, this is Hope, my cousin" Jacks said very loudly, which made Hope's face go red.

"It's nice to meet you Hope" My brother said, smiling kindly and nodded in her direction.

"Finally a girl" I stated as i sighed leaning in my chair. "You here to save me from the testosterone?" I joked.

Hope cracked a smile. "I really wish Jacks would quit telling everyone we're related" she said softly. Her dark black pixy hair looked wild, but in a very tasteful way and her eyes were blue. "Your eyes, I've never seen anything like that before except in cats or dogs" she stated, gesturing to my eyes.

I chuckled and ate some mashed potato's. "Yeah, i get that a lot" I replied after swallowing

It was a rather peaceful lunch as we all ate, teased and joked with each other. As if shit hasn't hit the fan yet, i was suddenly felt extremely hot, and a tightness in my chest. I quickly looked at Andrew, who i could tell felt the same thing as we exchanged looks.

'You okay?' He asked via mind link.

I shook my head, i sure didn't feel okay anymore. My head was beginning to pound as the school bell rang, ending lunch. 'Let's just make it through the rest of the day' I thought back as we gathered our stuff and threw our trash away.

Hope then appeared at my side. "What's your next class?" She asked with a smile.

I couldn't help but smile back. "It's AP biology" I stated

"We have the same class!" She said excitedly as she hooked her arm with mine. "Should we walk to class together?" She asked and then looked down at our arms. "My you're very warm, are you feeling alright?"

"Yeah, im fine, and would love to walk to class together" I said, shoving away the awful feelings I was starting to have.

We walked to our next class mostly in silence as a feeling of extreme nausea took over and haunted my stomach. We ended up sitting next to each other when the teacher strolled in.

A figured followed behind the teacher and stood at the front of the class. "Looks like we have not just one, but two new students here with us today, Alexei and this is Elijah" My eyes looked toward Elijah who was glancing around the room. He was really tall with the most resilient dark amber eyes with short wavy brown hair. His skin was pale white and pretty much perfect besides his arms that held slightly discolored skin, in which i thought was just a birthmark.

As our eyes met I suddenly had the strongest urge to vomit, in which I quickly bolted out of my seat and made my way out the door. Pins and needles could be felt all over my skin as I made it into the hallway. My head was all foggy as I looked all around to see Andrew running to me. "I've called Alexander and Warren, they're on their way" He said as he rushed me to the door to leave.

"What's going on Andrew?" I asked in a very raspy voice.

"I don't know but Alexander said he must pick us up" He answered.

We waited maybe 5 minutes outside when Alexander pulled up. I barely had the strength to pull myself into the car and Andrew and I collapsed in the backseat. Alexander was talking, but I could barely make out the words he was saying to me, my head pounded and every inch of my body felt like it was on fire.

When we arrived home Warren was pacing outside, and quickly opened the door and carried me to the back yard. I couldn't speak the pain was unimaginable and I could hear Andrew howling in pain as Alexander got in out of the back seat. We were took deep into the woods as Alexander and Warren silently spoke to each other, in which i couldn't make the words they were saying out.

"You're going to be okay" Alexander bent to my ear in whispered, which brought me some hope that i was in fact not dying, but it sure felt like it.

After a moment of screaming in pain i could feel my skin being torn open, my bones breaking and adjusting as I was laid on the ground. My head foggy. Soon everything in my vision became like a narrowed tunnel, and instead of screams, loud whimpers came from my mouth as the feeling of pain slowly subsided. I tried to speak but no words came out as just a set of more whimpers and I darted my eyes to look for Andrew.

It was this every afternoon that everything changed for Andrew and I
